PERSONALITY
The Majority of people who knew Erik would describle him simply as, 'stange'. Even those within the Jedi Order often steered clear from him in fear that he might drag them off into his laboratory of a room to conduct indescribable experiments of the force on them.
He seldom reveals himself outside of mandatory appearances, proving to be rather aloof when forced to interact with others, a side effect of his highly restricted social circle. He would much rather spend his time evoking new aspects of The Force than encumbering himself with attachments to his peers.
This was only amplified upon his exile from the Order, driving him further into his isolationist mindset. Though it is constantly being tested, as he is often required to cooperate with fellow explorers to find the treasures he seeks.

APPEARANCE
Prior to his exile, Erik wore the standard Jedi robes, conforming to their dress standards without any objection. Though he would oft find himself keeping himself cloaked with a hooded garb over the top in an attempt to keep as much natural light from reaching his eyes as possible. Because of this, his skin was hardly tainted by the scourge of the stars, and remained a nearly incandescent pale shade. His hands, on the other hand, were battered and scarred; a result of constant experimental manipulation of the force almost always backfiring on his body. Because of this he usually keeps his hands gloved, even when in situations that would normally require them to be bare.
Following his banishment, he kept his face obscured as much as possible, in an attempt to keep hunters sent by Jedi from recognizing him, an overbearing hat and mask strapped tight over his face seemed to work just fine. His body; draped in a rancor leather overcoat, cloaked in a tattered cape; the likes of which resembled a dark bird's feathers
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Erik maintains a vivid interest in the force, even after being forced to leave his scholarly position. The Dark side offered him much in the way of research material, granting him a powerful understanding of the abilities granted by darker impulses; even if he himself is not skilled enough to grasp at this power. While alone, he is more than capable of reproducing wicked and strange feats of the force, even calling forth sparks of energy on some occasions. However outside his isolation he has trouble finding a 'foothold' in the force, preventing him from making use of his research in a combat scenario.
During his time as a Jedi, Erik was not well known for his skills in combat, he'd spend more time lifting books than weights. Upon his exile however he found it beneficiary to become more proficient in a fight; he took up training with fellow exiles (at least the few that were willing to not murder him while training). Eventually he extended his training to include a pair of short swords he received from his mother upon being sent off to join the Jedi; the likes of which he makes great use of in places where showing a lightsaber would be unwise.

BIOGRAPHY
As with most Jedi, Erik was inducted into the order at an early age; his life before he was brought into the fold is a mystery even to him. He was trained through a period of uncertainty for the peacekeepers, a time where a war was being fought between former brethren. The young Jedi never quite understood the reason why the Dark Jedi were exiled, as he had figured the force's all encompassing nature should be embraced by its users; despite the forbidden nature of the darker arts. The darkness called to him, and so, he began his experiments in the force; locking himself away from the his peers and masters to keep his mind keen, compensating for his lack of mastery with pure untainted concentration.
