My name is Esc’alli’elia. You can call me Callie though. It’s easier for everyone that way. I am certainly not going to be snobby about your inability to say my given name since I know there are names out there that I could never pronounce. Unlike my sister, Esc’assi’elia, I do not think I am better than anyone else. Please do not get us confused. She is arrogant and her sarcasm is going to get her killed.
I, on the other hand, do not believe sarcasm solves anything. It aggravates the issue and people are so touchy these days. It’s her life though. I stopped caring who she became or what she did when she decided to start hating me for becoming a Jedi. She was fine with being passive and letting the Galaxy crumble around her but I was not.
I was an intern in CAIN when the Purge happened. It broke my heart. I was 15 then. I left my home and joined the Jedi shortly after that. My sister was livid when she found out and sent me nasty messages telling me to never return home. I was no longer welcome there. If you ask her, I am the bad guy here.
I recently completed my training and became a Knight of the Jedi Order. I sent a message to my sister but never received a response. I have not spoken to her in over 10 years and I doubt that will change. This notion saddens me greatly as both of our parents are deceased and she is my only direct family. It was her choice though and now we must both live with it. I have no idea if she is even alive anymore. I sure hope she is.
I believe that is enough about my family drama though. I am a Jedi Knight because I believe in the Jedi way not the way of the passive Immortal Order.
