1000 Standard Hours

Halmo'de and his merry band of murderers had determined that taking over a pirate base on Utapau was preferred over building a new one. While the four of them were all established Dark Siders, and probably worth ten men each, they would need someone else to soak up the damage while they stormed the entrance.
The four had taken speederbikes, with the pilot of a small freighter on standby to pick them up, and from there, they would make their way to Utapau, with haste.

"The plan is fairly simple. We give them an ultimatum; volunteer your strongest, able-bodied men and women for a task that will save their beloved kriffhole in the ground from becoming another scuff mark on my boot. If they refuse, I think you three have an idea for what to do. Kill half and enslave the rest," he said, in a rather matter-of-fact tone, as he dipped and weaved between trees.

Well this was fun, zipping about on speeders, feeling the wind lift and tumble her lekku. She sighed in content, recklessly shooting through another yet tight gap between two trees. This was how she liked living her life, flying wild and free, although of course, she wasn't exactly free per say. No she was on a mission, the kind of mission she took honest enjoyment in, but still a mission. Really it was the only downer about the whole trip, but it was something she'd learned to live with. At least now they were actually doing something tangible besides talking, and it didn't involve giant mutated death monsters either....yet.

Narri nudged her speeder a bit closer to Halmo'de's when he spoke, lending him half an ear as they rode on. Personally, she didn't quite see why they were bothering with the whole ultimatum. She, and probably the others, had no illusions about the extremes they would be stooping to. Twas why she had her usual armaments on her person after all. And of course the nature of their mission was a secretive one, personally she felt leaving half the village alive would be a tad contrary to that goal.

She remained silent however, offering only a mere nod before continuing to weave about through more challenging paths, taking delight in the way she was able to pass unheeded despite the many potential obstacles. That particular distraction abruptly came to an end however, as suddenly she was bursting forth from the trees into open space. No she was rocketing across a vast open plain, and in the distance, some buildings. Excellent, it appeared that it was time for the fun to begin.

For once there was a speeder that Dennys WOULD have been caught dead driving, the prospect of which had him change into his 'speeder bikin' clothes. He still had his fanny packs on but was now wearing some patched denim jeans and a black shirt with a flaming skull on it under a leather jacked covered in patches of various swoop racer gangs from the planets he had visited. Most of the patches were sold to tourists like him who just wanted to look like they were with said gangs, yet Dennys had bought them anyway. Completing his look was a pair of dark-tinted glasses and a handkerchief wrapped around the top of his head which was colored like the planetary flag of Coruscant, his birthplace. Add a few spikes to the shoulders of the jacket and some fingerless gloves and he was looking like a total BADASS.

The owner of the crimson speeder bike had protested at the Exile taking it, though a swift headbutt to the face followed by a suplex had quieted any misgivings the peon might have had. It didn't take long for them all to leave after that, his new speeder booming out the latest releases of Puff and Biggs' music from Nar Shadaa. He had heard the plan from the others and was relishing any potential heroes arising among the villagers they were coming up to. His blood already pumping from that fool back in the hangar, Dennys wanted nothing more that to crack some skulls and show these pissants just how much of a BADASS he was and how un-BADASS they were. It was a pretty big divide, to be honest. Like, you could fly a Corvette through the gap, it was that big.[/abox3]

Siris rode silently on his speeder bike, his gaze trained ahead as he easily moved out the way of any obstacles that came into his path. He thought to himself, the prospect of a base in the region and what it would take to capture it. He heard Torobah's words, agreeing with him slightly. They would need the men and women to take over the base but if there was a way to collect them all instead of killing half of them, he would take it. No need to kill possibly half of their manpower if it wasn't required. Siris stayed in the back of the group as he was kept busy with his thoughts.

His eyes drifted to Narri, watching as she chose the most reckless path to travel through. As he watched her evade obstacles and tight spaces, he realized he would need to keep an eye on her. She was a wildcard and Siris had no trouble seeing that. The addition of a wildcard like her was interesting, them usually being the ones to think crazy enough to get them out of certain situations but also the one to put them into the sticky situation. Maybe she would be totally fine but Siris had his doubts.

His gaze then traveled to Denny's, seeing him with a different outfit now that resembled a true biker and nowhere near and nowhere near an Exile. He had to admit, he had a flair about him that he's never seen before. It was somewhat refreshing to see someone like him, someone who didn't seem to have a worry in their mind except when they could suplex the next unsuspecting person. Siris was doubtful at Denny's skills when he offered to teach him but he saw firsthand his suplex of the previous owner of the hot rod speeder bike. It seemed the man did really know how to suplex after all.

They cleared the trees and entered an open plain, gliding across it easily from their mounts. They were approaching closer and closer to their goal. Siris had no idea what was in store of this merry band of killers but he knew it would be interesting, to say the least.

Halmo'de looked at Dennys and his interesting choice of clothing that made him very distinct from the other two and himself. He wouldn't admit it verbally, but it was a refreshing change to the pseudo-gothic nature of most of the Exiles. From a tactical perspective, it would serve them well, and make it appear like there were more than just the Exiles to contend with, that the less desirables of Prakith society had also joined their ranks. Halmo'de would certainly play that card where he could.

The Twi'lek, Narri, was an interesting sort, she certainly had confidence in her handling of a speederbike. Hal was no slouch either, but the shrewdness he possessed due to his Vahlic heritage, he would choose the path of least resistance more often than not. The rest of the ride was in silence, as the four prepared themselves for the task ahead of them, only breaking the silence when the village was in view.

'How quaint,' he thought to himself as they pulled up. His thoughts were interrupted by the crack of a Slugthrower, as they pulled up on the village, swerving to avoid the shot.

"I take it they don't like visitors." he said through comms. With that, he simply gained speed, aiming for the tower the shot came from, topping out, as the pops and snaps of solid munitions flying overhead. Lifting his feet to the seat of his bike, prepping for a jump, as he neared the tower, he leapt with aid from the Force, upwards to the sniper's nest, and ignited one of his crimson bladed lightsabers, cutting down the spotter, and gripping the shooter by the neck with the Force and flinging him from the canopy, only to sling his lightsaber at the man and cut him in two, above the denizens below, making his alliance known to them before even showing his face. The women and children below ran into their hovels and hid, while the men grabbed their blasters and Slugthrowers.

At the same time below, Halmo'de's abandoned speeder careened into one of the straw huts prompting screams from the neighbors, and inhabitants.

Amplifying his voice with the Force, he spoke to the men, "Lay down your arms or face the same fate as your sniper. We do not come here to kill, but to recruit. We need some able-bodied men for an assignment. Come willingly, and you and your families will be compensated handsomely with the loot yielded. If we have to force you... You'll have no families to return to." Hal spoke, offering no other options to the men gathering below. The men murmured among themselves. @Insalius @Orbit @Narsi

Aaaaand just like that the plan was off the rails, pretty sure they'd just broken a record of some kind. Speeding up, she angled off to the side, shaking her head at the poor fools as she watched Halmo'de gun it right for the tower. He wasn't even swerving... and yet the sniper was missing, wow, did they even want these people? Of course, just then as they sped up to the village, Narri finally laying on the brake, another idiot had to reveal himself. A hulking brute of a man, rifle in hand, stepping into view from behind a mudstained hovel, directly right in front of her.

Mayhaps she could've turned to the side, used her superior reflexes to maybe avoid a collision and any unneeded bloodshed. Nah, idiocy like that needed to die, and she was more than happy to stay on course. Her slightly reduced speed prevented anything overly messy, but as it was, the man bounced like a ball off the hood, flying a good thirty feet through the air. He landed amidst two other thuds, and turning in her seat, Narri beheld the new corpses of the sniper and spotter, shocker.

Coming to a complete stop, she hopped off her speeder and drew her rifle, absently flipping off the safety and sighting it in as she inspected her ride, running a hand over the man shaped dent in its front. The damage seemed minor, mostly cosmetic, though the original owner likely wouldn't be happy at seeing it. It was a good thing then that he'd never be seeing it, or anything else, ever again. Shrugging, the Twi'lek turned away and lazily pointed the rifle at the townspeople, a smile gracing her lips under her helmet as she saw them flinch back, several people retreating from where they'd tried to check on her latest victim.

Right on cue Halmo'de started his speech, his enhanced voice ringing out through the village, seeming almost to shake the quaint little huts. Honestly, she almost didn't see the point in bothering, they'd already proven to be an idiot prone bunch of people. Did they really want people who would hire the most abysmal marksman possible as a guard?

Dennys grinned at the reception they were receiving. Hal seemed to have the right idea of things, though Narri's move would also help provide some covering fire. It was time to prove one of his core philosophies, that besides the Force there was another power that flowed through all beings in the galaxy. He called this power 'The BADASS', and it was just as picky with it's users as the Force was. As he channeled both the Force and the BADASS, he revved the engine of his speeder and shot forward at full speed. Just as he passed the threshold of the village he popped the front end up as if doing a wheelie if the craft he was using had wheels in the first place. By this time he was screaming like a banshee out of hell, all before he leapt off the bike at the closest victim.

The stunned villager was frozen by the sight of the screaming man flying at him, unable to do anything to guard against the elbow to the face that had his name on it. Dennys was traveling at such speed that the elbow, which on the jacket he was wearing was plated with metal, crushed through the man's face and into the skull behind it as he then used the now corpse to surf through the street. Beside him the speeder hit the first building it came across, exploding for little reason into a huge fireball that caused an inferno to raise up from it's expanding burst. The Exile forcefully removed his elbow from the dead man's face, casually wiping off the blood and adjusting his glasses before looking around at the nearby men who had been this man's companions. He pointed at one of them silently and began to walk towards them, face deadly serious as the fire raged behind him. It was going to be a fun day.

It all happened at once, their little party received fire and made all of them take evasive maneuvers to avoid it. Hal went straight to where the shots came from, leaping from his bike and to the tower before cutting down whoever stood there as the body parts of a man fell down into the people below. Narsi and Dennys made an entrance for themselves as well, the twi'lek turning a man into roadkill as Dennys surfed across the street on another man whose face turned into pulp from his elbow. Denny's speeder kept continuing however, crashing loudly into one the huts before a huge explosion rocked through the pirate village. Well, things already went to bloodshed and he figured the villagers would respond the same way.

Siris pulled into the village, rapidly descending his speed before coming to a complete halt on the other side of the square. He arrived during the middle of Hal's speech before stepping off of his speeder. Siris's eyes scanned the crowd as the villagers who chose not to resist thought over his words. He saw two of them slowly raise their rifles to Hal as he spoke but their guns suddenly started to collapse in on themselves, contorting into weird angles as the two men stared at their weapons with wide eyes before dropping them to the ground. They both looked over to Siris, who simply just shook his head at the two of them before one of his sabers slipped into his hand. It remained deactivated but the message was clear and they returned their attention back to Hal.

As Denny's went after a companion to the villager he killed, four of them surrounded him and raised their rifles. Each of the guns was aimed directly at chest level as two more did the same to Narri. With Siris's silent approach, most of the villagers seemed to ignore him and instead focused on his louder companions. This could have gone a lot smoother. One of the men in the crowd pushed past the others, stepping into open space as he gazed up towards Hal in the tower. His eyes seemed to drift towards Hal's saber, remembering the bounty, specifically the huge bounty on just one them. The group of Exiles just brought a fortune to their doorstep and all he could visualize was the stacks of credits that he and his people could receive. The man rubbed his chin for a second as if contemplating something before pointing up to Hal, "You think you can just come in here and kill my men and expect us to follow you? You brought us enough credits to last us a lifetime! KILL THEM!" The man pulled out his own blaster pistol, immediately firing shots up into Hal's position as three others around the square did the same. The men surrounding Narri and Denny's followed his orders and begun to fire on the two of them. The two whose weapons Siris destroyed turned towards him, drawing their pistols as well before taking aim.

Halmo'de was kept safe, due to his high angle, although the high volume of fire meant the integrity of the shoddily made sniper tower would soon waver. With a running start, Hal leapt from the tower, and over the body of villagers that had opened fire at him. As he landed, near one of the burning shacks, he gathered the Force in his palms and drew a large amount of the flame to him, where he immediately fired of bolts of flame into the body of armed villagers. "If we have to kill all of you, we'll go to the next village, and try again! If you fools think you can take down four Exiles, you lot are foolish to say the least!" He shouted over the pained screams of the men that he set aflame. The leader of the group, who spoke to Hal, before ordering that the men fire at them, looked on with horror as his men fell to the ground writhing in pain. It was at this moment that he realized, he'd made a grave mistake.

Upon this realization, he felt an invisible hand grip his lapel and pull him helplessly to the pale-skinned devil he'd only just attempted to kill. He levitated, petrified, only inches away from Halmo'de's face.

"Call em off. Now!" He demanded, plucking the blaster from his hand.

"P-put em down, fellas! Let's hear these Exiles out!" he called out to the men that may or may not already be dead at the hands of Dennys and Narri. As those words left the village head's lips, Hal dropped him to the ground, and snuffed the flames, doing the same to the huts and straw buildings that we're caught aflame. "Listen to me, once more, because this is your final warning. You are given the opportunity to bring home much more than what our lightsabers are worth, with an infinitely less dangerous enemy to face. Join us, and keep what you can carry. Force our hand again, and this village will be made a skid mark on the Prakithian landscape."

Halmo'de kept a subtle hold around the neck of the man at his feet. Looking around as those left lowered their rifles and pistols. If Dennys and Narri were able to stay their hands from killing the men who had began to fire on them, they would have roughly 15 men at their disposal. The flames Hal had cast on to the crowd only injured the men, and deterred them from firing. Some healing gel would see them sorted out.

Looking around at the faces of the men who had turned to face him, the lot of them weighing their options, while others writhed on the ground.

"Okay," the apparent leader said, a hint of defeat in his voice, "we will go with you, but please leave our women and children out of this."

Halmo'de responded with a grin, releasing the man fully from his grip, and allowing him to stand. "Very well," he said, before turning, and calling back to base for their pick up ship. "We're ready. We've successfully recruited some villagers. Bring the women and children a gift basket," he spoke, ending with a code phrase to send a clean up crew after they depart, and pick them up to be hauled off to the Temple. They would always have a need for more slave labor.

"Narri, Siris, Dennys, get ready. Relieve these men of their weapons until we reach Utapau. They won't need them until then."

Narri hissed and hit the dirt as the fools opened fire, momentarily hiding behind her speeder as bolts flicked around her. They'd found themselves some very special idiots apparently. Once again she was seriously doubting the need for such retards, but at this point they'd come this far. And if they were so sucky, then they'd need a lot of them, and so Narri reluctantly tempered her urge to put cherry red holes in heads.

Reaching for the force, she telepathically lifted several stones off the ground, and after a few moments of extremely ineffective laser fire, sent them blasting forth with a flick of her wrist. Three resounds cracks, three subsequent thuds, three blasters silenced, non-lethally too, probably. Before anyone else could decide to target her, Halmo'de finally intervened, and Narri smirked as she watched the leader brown his pants. Naturally the man surrendered, first smart choice he'd made yet, and she was free to rise without invoking anymore blaster fire, supposedly.

A few people, the ones with bruises that suggested a chronic inability to understand basic tactics such as ducking, looked tempted, eyeing her and fingering their weapons anxiously. A single glare and nod towards the unconscious bodies ended that, each of them turning away meekly after but a few moments. Rolling her eyes, Narri made a mental note to ensure the ringleaders demise in the upcoming raid, silently thanking that Halmo'de had the sense to hand over a gift basket. Pointing at one of the men, she then gestured towards their unmoving comrades. "You, get some others and gather up those idiots, try to wake them up too, we'll need them for later."

Giving them an extra glare to inspire quick action, Narri then went about Halmo'de's request, gathering up their weapons. From the back of her head suddenly sprouted long tendrils of energy, like extra lekku, invisible to all but the other force wielders. They lashed about wildly for a moment, drawing a slight frown of concentration from the petite exile, but eventually they began to reach out and curl around the villagers weapons. Soon, she had a small armory drifting about her head, drawing startled and fearful glances from the men who's weapons she continued to rip from them.

Did Dennys care that he was surrounded by some punk-ass villagers with rifles, ready to fire and kill him at a second's notice? HELL NO. He brought his hands up to crack his knuckles as he stopped between the fools that thought they had him just because they had managed to draw a bead on him. The dumbasses were facing each other around him, which would make his move the simplest that could possibly be: just drop down when they shot so that they all hit each other. Bam, four dead villagers and another sick move made by a true BADASS. He was only mildly disappointed when he heard the request for them to drop their weapons, though in the end that just meant they would get to Utapau all that much quicker.

Every time he went around to one of the villagers to disarm them, Dennys would pull his shades down and glare at them with all the fire and fury he could muster. They were all guilty of wasting his time AND of blowing up the speeder bike he had stolen from someone else only earlier that day. Still, he'd formed a bond with the thing, it's memory nearly bringing a tear to his eye as he reminisced about all the fond memories he had created with the thing. The headbutt, the suplex, the sick-ass body surfing after face-elbowing, it was all something he would fondly remember for years to come. Once he was done gathering the weapons he put them where his companions had placed their own caches, waiting for the next orders from the man he had accepted as their leader for this adventure. It may be temporary, but he would do his job.

Everything happened fast, Hal jumping from the makeshift tower as Dennys simply ducked, killing the four villagers that surrounded him. Unlike Dennys, Narri took out the ones surrounding her, deciding to use rocks that would give each of the men a fairly good headache when they woke up. The two that Siris dealt with earlier turned their attention him, listening to the village elder's orders as they made their way over to him with their fists balled up. Siris just shook his head as the men made their way over, simply using the force to smash their heads together with a resounding thump before both crumpled to the ground like a bag of bricks.

Hal then summoned flames to his palms, putting on a display of power as he unleashed it into the throng of villagers. While it wasn't lethal, it was still painful as hell. Most of them fell to the ground, screaming or groaning in pain as the flames charred their skin. Siris stood and observed, Hal levitating the leader towards him now as he demanded the elder to surrender. It didn't take a fool to realize the situation was dire. Half of the men lay on the ground, twitching and turning from their new burn marks as the others just got on their knees, placing their hands behind their heads and waiting for the carnage to stop. They all had peaceful lives before this, only having to deal with the occasional pirate raid once in a while. This type of destruction and power was utterly new to them, now complying with whatever the Exiles demanded as they wished to remain alive.

The elder asked for mercy with the children and woman, hoping the Exile would at least have some decency to let them live. Hal agreed before releasing the elder who rushed over to the wounded, attempting to soothe them as they writhed in pain. Hal called in the ship, using the code phrase to pick up the woman and children. Hal kept true to his word in his own way, Siris knowing exactly what the code phrase was for. It was a punishment worse than death but at least the elder and rest of the men would be unaware of it. As he thought before, they were an interesting group. Narri sprouted tendrils from herself before helping collect the weapons, the nearby villagers gazing in fear at her. Dennys was... Dennys' sliding his shades up every moment he could to glare at any bystander he collected a weapon from.

Siris stood where he was, lifting his hand slightly as the remaining majority of the guns flew in the air, levitating for a moment before neatly and orderly placed in their own pile. The ship could be heard in the distance, it's engines rumbling as it flew it's way to their location. Siris leaned against the wall of the little hut he stood by, crossing his arms over each other as he chose to remain silent and observe the new small army they just collected. But he heard shuffling behind and he turned slightly, spotting a little girl behind him and taking cover from the onslaught. Her small eyes met his silver ones, apparent terror in them as they stared at each other. Siris gave one glance to his crew before turning slightly to face her, knowing what was planned for her once she was put on the ship. Siris lifted a finger nonchalantly, the girl gently being lifted before being softly placed behind an assortment of crates to hide her presence from the rest of the Exiles. He turned back around to face his compatriots, his face passive as if nothing happened.

Disarming the civilians was easy enough. Now to get them situated on the ship, for the voyage to Utapau. Within minutes, a large vessel arrived on scene.

"Pile in! It's not too late for me to end your life, remember that! Load in from the back, and sit with your hands and arms held outward in front of you. One of us will restrain you. Move a finger out of line, and I'll force feed your liver to your last living kin!" Halmo'de barked, making the silent realization that he would have made a good slaver in another life. He grinned at the thought, and then scoffed. How boring that life would have been, to aspire to dominate just the weak, rather than aspiring for better.

The last man entered the cargo bay, and Halmo'de stepped in immediately behind him, shoving him into a seat and binding his arms and hands with Durasteel cuffs, provided by the pilot, who knew to gather several pairs for the trip. He also made a point to gather slave collars, when the attack on whatever base. Any man out of line in any way would receive 30,000 volts to the back of his neck.

Narri kept the mass of guns in her grip pointed at the villagers as they waited, taking great care to make it look as menacing as possible with the multitude of weapons hovering about her. It was a bluff of course, mostly, holding all the weapons as such was giving her a headache, and sustaining them in the air whilst firing....would be difficult. But they didn't know that, and Narri was on the receiving end of many fearful looks during the wait.

When it arrived, Narri joined the others in ushering them on board, standing by with her ominous bluff and unfriendly scowl. She didn't say anything, but then she didn't have to, Halmo'de was coming up with better threats anyway. It wasn't until they were all in that she also stepped aboard, heading straight for the back where a large lock chest waited. Finally, she let down her burden, carefully setting her share of the weapons inside before turning back to the prisoners. Plopping herself down on a chair, she grabbed up a few handcuff sets in her telekinetic grip, and began levitating them over to the villagers.

It should've been obvious what she wanted them to do, especially considering Halmo'de's own demonstration. But still, the first man hesitated anyway, cradling the cuffs for a tense few seconds of dangerous silence. WHACK, Narri hit him another pair of cuffs hard enough to dent his skull, gifting instant unconsciousness. Another moment of silence, and the other prisoners gave in, slapping theirs on with gusto and even putting on the downed man's, finally. Narri rolled her eyes and laid her head back, these people...were complete idiots.

As for Dennys, his own experience with an uppity commoner didn't come from anyone in the village but instead the fool that he had suplexed back at the base and stolen their sick, if now exploded, speeder bike. Apparently the man was enraged enough to come and try to take revenge of some kind. All the Exile knew was that the man was screaming his head off as he rushed at Dennys on a different speeder bike, obviously done in haste because he hadn't put any of his safety harnesses on. That alone gave Dennys the idea on how to take out this fool, AND to serve as a lesson for anyone wanting to get uppity from their new, temporary crew. Concentrating the Force in one hand, he gave a smirk as he pointed at the nose of the speeder before turning his finger to point down.

The Force caught the speeder's nose and sharply dropped it down, catching it in the ground and stopping it in an instant. Inertia was a son of a bitch, though, and without the harness the man flew forwards in a confused tumble. While the other man was still in the air, Dennys pulled his arm back as if to punch, shuffling around a bit as the flying aggressor came closer and closer. When the time as right he punched forward, the man's face meeting Dennys' fist and the force of the impact taking the Exile's fist right through his skull. The speeder was wobbling back and forth as it eventually stopped, acting as a makeshift tombstone, while Dennys wiped the blood and grey matter off on the dead man's clothing before turning back to the captured villagers. He lowered his sunglasses to glare at them one last time before pointing at the ship they would be getting on, his intention clear even without words. He'd help get everyone on board then take his own place with the other Exiles, ready to get this show on the road.

The ship came, it's powerful engines rumbling the town as it hovered over the village square before slowly descending. It sent waves of small debris and dust where the engines were aimed, causing the villagers to shield their faces before the ship finally landed and shut off the power. Siris remained where he was, watching as Hal ordered the remaining villagers onto the ship and Narsi holding the guns over them in a threatening manner in which non-force users would be terrified at the sight, thinking she could unload all of the gun's clips upon them even if it wasn't true. Dennys was being... Dennys again, coming up with his own spectacular way to finish off the man he previously stole his ride from before destroying it. With all the remaining Exiles finally handling whatever business they had, Siris finally pushed off the wall before casting a quick glance to the assortment of crates that hid the little girl behind them.

She was smart enough not to try and peek past the obstacles and Siris was grateful for that, not wanting to have the others spot her and drag her on top the ship with the others. He made his way to the ship, passing burnt and bloody corpses created by them. As Siris stepped on the dropped down door to the ship, he slapped the side of the ship hard a couple of times before raising his fist with one finger in the air and making a circular motion with it. The pilot glanced at him from the cockpit before viewing the signal and giving a thumbs up before immediately beginning to power the ship once more as it powered on. Siris pressed a button by the door and it closed slowly as the ship began to lift, shutting off the ariel view of the village as the ship turned and launched forward to exit the atmosphere.

Before they could take off however, one woman began looking around the cargo bay wildly before screaming out, "Where's my daughter?!" She stood up and rushed over to the door as if she could tear it down herself to find her flesh and blood. He immediately knew who she was asking about, the little girl he hid to make sure she wouldn't be a slave like the rest. But before she could reach Siris spun around to face her, his hand shooting out as he wrapped her fingers around her throat and instantly halted her. The mother's eyes opened wide with shock as she begun to gag, her throat squeezed shut as Siris stared at her for a moment before throwing her backward and using the force to sit her back down in her previous spot. The mother started shaking, fear in her eyes as Siris made his way over to her. He stood over for a second, staring down at her with his piercing gaze, "Dead." It wasn't true but the woman had no idea and believed, crying into her hands as one of the nearby prisoners wrapped an arm around her shoulders and gave Siris a glare. He didn't mind, knowing it was best to quell the mother's worries and to cut off any hint that that group of Exiles didn't pick everyone up.

Siris turned back around silently, making his way other to his previous spot before leaning back against the wall with his eyes staring out the little porthole window. The ship shook hard as they finally escaped the clutches of the planet and entered the cold embrace of space. They were one step closer to completing their mission and was ready to finish it.
