Evangeline Auberdine

"The Shistavanen species are known for their enhanced senses and strength. Ar'Rhan is no exception. His large hulking form, the sculpted physique that his training had shaped him into was veiled beneath a blanket of thick fur. A white undercoat with a black top coat, creating a uniquely grey appearance from afar. Though, when able to truly gaze upon well kept hair, one would be able to see the depth of his coloration. There are a few locations upon him that his markings are solid black however, they are the tip of his tail and ears. Along with the ridge of his spine.

He tends to dress in loose garments of green and brown tones. Ar'Rhan will generally go without footwear as well, finding it difficult to find anything that fits and custom footwear is simply to expensive for the young Matukai."

Personality

Eva is polite and well-spoken, but filled with quiet determination. She used to be cowed by her father's ambitions, but her time amongst the mandalorians has taught her pride, confidence and skills of command. She is still somewhat naive of the galaxy due to being young, but she is intelligent and quick to understand. She is deeply sympathetic to those she perceives as oppressed, while at the same time, her pent up frustration from years of being mentally dominated by her petty would-be-duke of a father make Eva capable of being utterly ruthless against those she perceives as oppressing others. This has produced a large amount of black-white thinking in Eva's mind, and she can be idealistic to a fault. She can be ruthless to her perceived enemies, but while her father was cruel and demanding to his servants and even his benefactors, Eva reciprocates the loyalty of those who follow her with gratitude and compassion.

Despite being a persuasive and extremely empathetic speaker, Evangeline never looked for political games or rushed into things without thinking, unlike her brother and her father. Like her mother, Eva avoided the corruption of politics, and instead concentrated on helping others. It was partly because of her firm belief in democracy and her genuine care for her people that her enlisted in the Galactic Rebellion. Her fierceness and determination to restore freedom to the galaxy made her fit perfectly in the Galactic Rebellion.

Skills & Abilities

As a member of one of the great houses of Serenno and daughter of an influential aristocrat, Eva was presented to the philosophy, sociology, interplanetary affairs, political and economic sciences at a very young age. She developed extensive knowledge in these areas, turning herself in a prestigious aristocrat in the House Auberdine, as well as on Serenno. She is regarded was an accomplished philosopher, orator and politician, being considered by the members of the others great houses as the main option to inherit the title of duchess in her house.

During her time amongst the mandalorians, Eva became a skilled marksman and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant. She also learned to read the body language of others with precision. Using her problem-solving skills, Evangeline can work out a battle ahead of time for many possibilities and predict enemy movements and tactics after the battle has engaged. Always calculating her opponents moves before hand; Eva is considered a great strategist and tactician.

Biography

Ar'Rhan was born into the Ghol family, who were members of the Order of the Matukai. His mother was never anything more than a Proselyte who pulled back from her duties after giving birth to Ar'Rhan's litter. Ar'Khan Ghol was a well respected member of the order, whom had achieved the level of a Savant and was known for his teaching prowess. Both were eventually killed off by the Sith during one of the many raids that they had been forced to flee from.

He was however found and taken care of by fellow members of the order, along with his parents remaind which were given a proper funeral. The vast majority of his life had been one of constant travel, going wherever his nomadic herd of Matukai could finish peace. A place to both train and begin to prosper, though they never stayed in one place for too long. For fear of the Sith discovering their wherabouts.

He had decided to venture out on his own only recently, figuring that it was time that he began to fight. He was tired of running and hiding... He would take that leap of faith. Ar'Rhan would live up to his father's name and forge a legacy of his own. It was only a matter of tine before the Sith came knocking at his door, so why not meet them outside.

Hopefully, the Rebellion would provide him that chance. Perhaps, they were itching to bring the fight to the Sith just as much as he was.

Assets & Possessions:

PRIMARY WEAPON
SG19/V70-40 'THUNDERBOLT'

SECONDARY WEAPON
XM1020 HEAVY PISTOL

ARMOR
MODULAR COMBAT UNIFORM

The SG19/V70-40 has a remarkably long barrel thanks to its bullpup design. Even the skeletal carbine variant is able to bullseye targets at 500 meters, while the full-sized rifle is able to reliably strike a dinner plate-sized target at 650 meters. SG rifles are equipped with the SmartLink system and have an integrated scope module built atop the rifle's forward end. While barely the size of a large pen, the SmartScope is capable of up to 5x magnification with decent relief. However, the rifle's battery must be powered and the firer must have a SmartLink integrated HUD to use the scope.

The SmartScope is not its only optic; a length of picatinny rail with a permanently affixed reflector sight is provided. The sight, with a simple dot-in-triangle reticule, may be pressed down into the body of the rifle and locked away when not needed. (Such as when a different optic is in use.) Behind and below the rail is a small LED screen displaying the ammunition remaining in the rifle's magazine, its fire mode, and its heat - heat being displayed as a thermostat for easy at-a-glance reading.

A powerful tactical light with a 'dazzle' feature is built into the foregrip; this uses its own independent power supply. Its batteries may be used to power the rifle's electronics if necessary. The tactical light has an adjustable focus, and can be removed and used as a hand torch if necessary. The light may also be removed and replaced with an underslung 25MM grenade launcher if necessary.

The grenade launcher is a magazine-fed straight-pull bolt affair using a rather lengthy warhead. The round has high muzzle velocity (around 600m/s) and a reasonably flat trajectory. Its exceptionally powerful HE-FRAG warhead grants it a kill radius of 3 meters and a wounding radius of 6 - not bad for such a small round, though far inferior to larger, more powerful grenade launcher shells. Smoke, flare, and flashbang rounds are available.

In addition, it may chamber and fire any of the family of Kushari 6-gauge shotgun shells; the magazine, however, can only hold 2 shells of either grenade or shotgun ammunition. That gives the underslung weapon a total capacity of 3 rounds - one in the chamber, two in the mag. Reloading is slow as each round must be fed into the magazine by hand. Many soldiers simply delete the magazine altogether, converting it into a single-shot breechloading weapon.

The MCU is the standard combat uniform for the Alliance Military. It consists of lightweight Armorweave combat trousers and combat jacket, which protect against shrapnel to some extent; a lightweight composite helmet with ballistic glasses, which protects against some blaster pistols and most lower-powered handgun rounds as well as shrapnel; and a heavy-duty armorweave plate carrier with ceramic composite trauma plates, which is capable of stopping blaster rifle bolts and rifle bullets without much trouble.

Where possible, the MCU-MkII is accompanied by a set of Suregrip boots and gloves, to allow for maximum traction in any situation, and a firm grip on weapons, handholds, or environmental elements that require tactile action.

The XM1020 is a straightforward weapon, making extensive use of stampings and polymers in its construction to save weight and keep cost down. A short-recoil operating system was chosen for its mechanical reliability and simplicity. The receiver was of stamped steel with ribs, providing indents and grooves to take dirt and grime as well as the carbon generated by firing. Tolerances were kept fairly loose, which gave additional space for mud and grime to go without jamming up the mechanism. Dry semi-permanent lubricant film was used, which allowed for some two thousand shots to be fired before the film required touching-up. The hydrophobic dry film proved to adhere poorly to debris, and also made for an excellent barrier against rust and corrosion.

A collapsible stock was engineered to rapidly lock and release from an extension at the rear of the receiver, just below the travel of the slide, and a rapid barrel replacement system was devised that allowed for the weapon's barrel to be quickly swapped out for a carbine-length version without tools in under a minute in low lighting conditions. The extended barrel - with distinctive rectangular heat shroud and polymer furniture - lock rigidly to the body of the weapon through the use of a locking lug that extends back into the body some distance. A drop-in choke system was devised, but only marginal improvements to pellet spread were noted and the system was quickly abandoned in favor of the use of rounds combining a solid lead-alloy rifled slug with three pellets, combining a small but effective shot pattern at close range while the slug could reach out to a modest distance and retain considerable hitting power and accuracy.

You're completely right mon ami. The réunion of the two could result in a contest of arroganz and, probably, in the most terrible catfight that the galaxie has ever seen. On zweiten thought, this would be very interesting to see. xD

I like Hal's personnalité. Humorous, optimistic and hopeful. Maybe when he enters the Rebellion, Eva and him must meet each other. They should form a fantastique duo I think.
