The shrich shrich of someone filing their nails could be heard in the hallway. A woman sat on a bench, her legs crossed, the sound of the filing came from her. The black shirt suit she was wearing contrasted with the stark white floor. Her hands were cuffed and so were feet. For being under arrest she looked quite calm. Suddenly an explosion sounded down at the end of the hallway. She smiled and continued filing her nails. A battle ensued at the end of the hallway officers were being shot down left and right. The quickly ended and the woman sat there, she had switched nails.
A few figures closed in closer, a dark skinned man probably approaching seven feet holding a blade, a tiny woman who look liked she was covered in wires, and a young man probably around 17 holding a metal bat approached they all looked at her. The woman looked up and then down.
“Ya’ll late,” She said her accent apparent, “I was thinkin you fogot little ol’ me.”
The 17 year old held out his hand as the tall man spoke, “Sorry boss, we had a little trouble getting everything in order.”
She grabbed his hand and he pulled her to his feet, “Thank you, kindly.” The boy blushed deeply, “All right what’s the story wires?” She had dropped the accent, “What is the situation? Are we good to go?”
The girl looked to her boss and nodded, “Yes, the percentage of failure is 20%. The lowest I could come to with all factors considered.”
“Do we have the equipment?” The boss looked to the tall man, he nodded. He pulled out a key and unlocked her cuffs, “How many did you get?”
“Twenty was all we could acquire.” He said sourly.
“Twenty? That’s all…” She sighed loudly, “I guess that will do.”
“Evelyn…I mean boss…” the boy said, “I heard some of the boys talkin sayin you are gonna ruin us all.”
Evelyn turned toward the boy, “Bren, who has been sayin’ these things?”
“Catler’s Crew…” Bren said in response to Evelyn’s question.
“I guess we’ll have another problem at hand to deal with.” She said smiling.
Evelyn Beyuin was betrayed, lost faith, and trust in anyone. Some ratted that they were going to rob a freighter but when they got there only to find the police. She got away but not before losing fifty percent of her men. When got back to their hideout most of her men deserted her. She was left with a skeleton crew, ten of her most loyal men and women. Though the police arrested seven of those during another job, the remaining three were killed in a shootout for territory. Evelyn was shattered bash and bruised. She fled Coruscant tail between her legs. That was five years ago now she’s trying to build herself back up to former glory.
