"Wheeeeeeeeeee!" Sal squeeled in delight as he was sent soaring by the human, his light and gaunt form streaking through the air in a billowing cloud of white thanks to his lab coat. The man continued to laugh to himself, rolling side to side on the floor at the predicament the three sith were now in. Oh this was rich, this was better than he could even ask for! The sorcerer continued to laugh even as the robo-human squaked and squaked in anger like a fiery parakeet. The zabrak seemed to just be brain dead, as he hadn't made much in the way of any expression at their new problem, an unsurprising outcome. Still, the laughter coming from the skinny Devaronian continued to bounce off the walls of the temple apex as the seconds ticked away until their imminent demise.

Jax seemed to look around the temple for any other exit points that they could use to their advantage. Sal slowly calmed down, his laughter lessening into bubbly giggles. It seemed his research was coming true like he had predicted it would, sure the 3vAll matchup was a possible hypothesis that he hadn't considered, but with their linked trance it seemed as though a communal trial was what would now determine their fate. If they won, the might of ancients would be theirs when they awoke and returned to their bodies. If they lost, their souls would be tortured for all eternity, subject to the vengance of a legion of faceless worms who would seek to fester and infect their essences until nothing more remained- a painful prospect to say the least. It was a gamble, yet some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs went through such similar trials, this was nothing new. The possible power was too great to be dissuaded by the cons, especially when someone like Sal knew how precisely to utilize it as a sorcerer.

Finally though, the robo-human looked back to him with the usual stern and enraged gleam in his eye. "Hahaha, sorry baby, there's no way out of this one, we're trapped in here. In a few minutes we're all about to get fucked as well as killed, a kinky yet fitting way to die, no?" the sorcerer posited, licking his purple lips a bit as he looked up at Jax. He was just getting the shivers thinking about what was waiting for them on the other side of that massive door. Even now, the wails of the damned could be heard growing into an unholy chorus as any moment their assault on the temple would begin. Valik seemed to also be preparing himself for battle, curtly responding to the human before adjusting his gear.

"Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock" Sal said, twidling his fingers as he sat there with crossed legs on the floor of the temple. His mouth was cureld upwards still into a state of glee and anticipation, his heart was beating a mile a minute, the prospect of a fate worse than death gave him a strange sense of joy. He could feel the dark side all around him, it was present in the three sith, the legion of damned slaves outside, and the very world itself. "Hmmmm, tasty" he mused softly, closing his eyes and sitting up straight. After this the sorcerer would fall silent, he was starting to feel it, what he had sought from this experiment, he was on the verge to delving into perhaps the most pure and unadulterated form of the dark side tangible. He had spent years searching for it, researching its presence in the world, yet now in the face of imminent destruction, it lay closer than ever, just at his fingertips.

"Keep them busy for me" the sorcerer said as the doors to the temple chamber began to shake and rattle, the hinges starting to stretch against the stone frame of the massive door. Sal remained silent from there on, his eyes shut and his body unnaturally still, with little signs of life and an absent pulse, he had slipped into a deep trance- he had descended deeper than this level of collective consciousness and layer of the dark side into what lay beyond the abyss. His body now was simply an empty shell sitting like a corpse in perfect meditation, unresponding and unmoving to any orders the two marauders would give him, his mind was now gone.

He had completed his research, and had now made his leap of faith, only time would tell if he came back or dragged the other two into the dark with him to be consumed.

In the meantime, the doors to the temple finally came of their hinges with a mighty 'BOOM', the large metal barriers falling down onto the stone floor with a rattle. A few moments later, black humanoids of varying sizes would begin to flood into the room, making a B-line for Jax and Valik who now stood in front of Sal as he meditated. This first wave held roughly 100 mongrels, a scouting party meant to test the group's force before sending in the heavy infantry, they would be cut down like flies, unless of course the two sith simply let them overwhelm the temple...

Jax walked around the room, admittedly in a skittish fashion, looking for anything they might be able to use to their advantage. In the main anti-chamber there was absolutely nothing to use. There was a small, ceremonial sacrificial blade in the human corpse, but there wasn't anything that was going to stand against a kriffing army of the damned. Jax looked down the hallway of the Temple, seeing nothing but darkness. While he couldn't necessarily detect any threats on the inside of the temple, it was also completely dark. Unless it was absolutely necessary, making their way deeper into the temple was not an option.

He didn't really trust either of his companions to truly be of assistance. Competence needed to be displayed for Jax to trust anyone, and so far neither of the two had proven to exactly be competent. The Zabrak was essentially mute, or may as well have been. He appeared to be a follower, not a leader. Like so many Sith. He had barely made any moves of his own initiative. The Sorcerer was not better, he appeared to be completely insane. His cackling filled the antichamber as the five minutes carefully trickled away. Jax was becoming frustrated, until the Sorcerer uttered something that nearly put him over the edge.

"Keep them busy for me"
"Listen to me, you worthless-"

But his words were useless. The Sorcerer was once again in meditation, deep in trance and unable to move. From worthless to useless in just two seconds. Jax was resigned to his fate. As long as they were in this weird spirit realm, he needed to keep his companions alive. "Zabrak, get over here now, they're almost upon us!" Jax yelled at his companion. For now, it was the two of them against the horde of tormented spirits. Their options were to survive and gain power, or join them in anguish. They were not about to lose here. Jax took some deep breaths. He needed to focus. He needed to feed on his anger and frustration. The Dark Side would nourish him. The Dark Side would give him strength. "We need to work toget-"

Jax was quickly interrupted as the doors to the temple were flung from their hinges. Jax stopped speaking as the large boom interrupted his speech. As one of the stone doors flew away, Jax thrust both of his arms out in front of him. He grabbed one of the stone doors with the Force, lifting it high into the air. As the small humanoid army charged towards the three marauders, Jax slammed the large stone door onto the horde of spirits. As it crushed them, the spirits seemed to fade away like dust in the breeze. He managed to take out about half of the first wave by using the door, but there were still half remaining. He drew his lightsaber and ignited it.

"We have to protect the freak, like it or not! Stick back, I'll charge ahead" Jax ran away from the two marauders, taking his lightsaber and slicing through more spirits. They went down easy. Too easy. They were similar to scouts, testing their strength. The Antichamber might not be a safe place to remain after all.

Valik clenched his teeth in anger as he looked behind him. This piece of work wants to meditate now, when they needed him the most. What could be so important. Valik turned as he saw the large door fly off the hinges, and then the display of power as Jax weilded the Darkside and took care of a good amount of the creatures forcing their way into the anti-chamber. Jax turned towards Valik.

"We have to protect the freak, like it or not! Stick back, I'll charge ahead"

Valik watched as the human turned many of the beings into dust as they came through the entryway. For every being that Jax had slain, another was making its way around towards the two Sith. Valik held both sabers, waiting. He sliced his sabers to his left and right, turning all of the entities into dust as they rushed. He was almost on top of the meditating Sorcerer as he stood, slicing and hacking at all of the creatures. Valik's hatred was growing by the second, making him more powerful as the fight ensued. As he cut one being in half or loped the head off of another, the dust was starting to fill the room.

Jax was busy slaying beings when Valik shouted towards him. "MOVE" He lunged forward, thrusting his hands out in front of him, sending a blast of force power towards the door. Hopefully this would help take care of some of the creatures.

Sal remained as still as a statue as the battle raged on around him, a permanent knowing grin on his face as he meditated.

The fight was currently at a stalemate, the two marauders managed to cleave into the oncoming scouts with great ferocity and a decent amount of success, their ingenuity using the fallen temple doors to their advantage had resulted in a large swathe of the enemies being crushed by the overwhelming weight. Although it had pushed their skills to their limits, the two were successfully fending off the wave of minions now writhing around the trio of sith who were connected as one. Red crimson blades lit up the dim temple antechamber as they cleaved through the minions until only a few scattered groups remained. After these final stragglers were felled though, the temple would grow quiet again...

It seemed the scouts had served their purpose. While they hadn't served a real threat in anything save their numbers, they had successfully pushed the two marauders to the upper echelons of their limits. That information was valuable enough. A loud roar echoed through the air near the entrance to the large chamber. The red sky shined down on a colossal black creature, a writhing collective of old and agonized faces pulled itself through the doorway and into the chamber. It had no arms or legs, instead being a gesticulating and amorphous mass of tentacles and heads, the mouths of the various heads spoke in different tongues- the languages of the slaves of Yavin IV from eons past. The creaturepulled itself along the groun towards where the trio were. From its opened mouths, as it spoke, smaller minions crawled out, falling onto the floor in a writhing mess of darkness and anger. This was only the first of horrors to come, the first hour of what would be a very long night.

As the last sentries of the first wave were eliminated, Jax took the chance to catch his breath. At this point, he was being totally fuelled by his anger and terror, the Dark Side of the Force empowering Jax to fight through the hordes of enemies. He looked over at his companion. He seemed a competent fighter in his own right, and would prove a useful ally in this situation. But they needed to act quickly. The night had just begun, and there'd definitely be more creatures.

"Wake the stupid di'kut up! Crazy or not, we're gonna need him to help us if we're gonna survive!" When Jax was frustrated, he sometimes resorted to speaking in Mandalorian. Although he still disdained the culture now, it was still a big part of him. Jax simply found that the Mandalorians just knew their way around expletives more than any other people. "We can't stay in this room, we need to move further into the temple! It's our only chance!"

Just as Jax finished speaking, the next threat burst through the arch of the temple. It was a grotesque, monstrous creature. An amalgamation of all the pain and suffering that had been endured on this moon. Just looking at it made Jax want to vomit. It was putrid and utterly horrible to look at. Jax could sense a pure, unadulterated darkness residing in the monster. It was absolutely terrible to look at, but fascinating all the same. Jax decided they needed to gauge the creature's durability. Jax lifted the second stone door with the Force and slammed it into the monster. It stumbled for a quick second, but merely shrugged off the stone slab. Like it had not been hit at all.

"We can't stay here!" Jax yelled over at the Zabrak. He took another look at the creature, watching as it seemed to ooze and writhe. The entity almost began to melt, with numerous globs of the creatures becoming smaller creatures unto themselves. Jax had enough. They needed to find another way to deal with the monster. "Grab one of his arms, we're going into the Temple!" Jax very much assumed the position of a commander in this situation. They needed direction to survive and Jax was more than comfortable giving orders. As long as the sorcerer sat like a complete statue, they were in danger. The sorcerer was a total liability at this point, but Jax wasn't about to test his theory that they would all die should the sorcerer die. "That thing is going to destroy us if we stay. We need to go, NOW!"

Valik watched this creature crawl, if that is what you would call it, across the stone floor of the anti chamber. The faces that all meshed together looked like some sick twisted and demented version of a horror story. He heard Jax say that they needed to move and the Sith knew they needed to take this useless sorcerer with them. Valik switched off one of his sabers and placed the hilt back onto the clip on his belt. The two Marauder's grabed the Deveronian, one on each arm as they headed down one of the hallways. Valik held his saber in front of him, illuminating the area around the three Sith in a red amber hue. As the three rounded a corner they came to a permacrete stairway.

They started up the stairs, the feet of the sorcerer dragging along the steps. Even though this Deveronian was alive and well, in this state of meditation he was like caring dead weight. What was the purpose of the meditation. They needed him, and Valik's anger for the man was growing stronger every second. When they reached the last step leading to the floor above where they just were, the two Sith walked over to the far wall and dropped Sal, not really worried about how they left him. His body landed on the hard stone floor with a thud as the two turned. They could hear the low guttural gurgling coming from the beast that was presently after them. As they looked around there were chairs and tables, this must have been a meeting area or a mess hall of some sort. There were three other exits, one on each wall. Valik knew that the hallway was a good way to funnel the beast and its offspring so they could not be surounded.

Valik walked over to the steps that they had just come from, removing his saber once again from his belt. He ignited the blade as the minions that had spilled forth from the creatures mouths begain to enter. Valik's anger was fueling his power, his sabers slicing away at the beings. Once again as the sabers sliced through the minions, they turned to smoke.

Alas, despite the fighting, the sith would not so much as make a twitch. He was like a corpse in his current state.

The scenery around the two marauders continued to change as they fled the oncoming elderitch demon, running deeper into the temple while leaving the antechamber behind them. Alas, this decision while tactical, would surely be a nerve-wracking one, as telling time would likely be nigh impossible without sight of the outside sky. There was no question the group were in the middle of a pitch black darkness though, the likes of which no longer is present in the galaxy save a few powerful souls. "Is this the power of the sith? Wisps of smoke to accompany a never ending hallway of mirrors? You do not deserve the right to such a title" the voice of Legion spoke from all directions, projecting its voice across the dreamscape, deep and booming.

The abberation's tentacles and claws cleaved into the stone ground, pulling itself along the temple floor. Its multiple heads moaned, black ooze dripping out of their mouths as horrors emerged from the slime. Scouts, the kind of which the two had just fought before, were now materializing from the goop and chasing after the two marauders. Fortunately, the multi-headed creature was agonizingly slow, literally having to drag itself wherever it went. Still, those powerful claws would surely be the death of any who were caught by them. The Hallway they had entered fter departing the Mess Hall was a mildly defensible position, indeed they had left the beast behind struggling to catch up, though it likely had no intention of slowing down any time soon. As Valik felled the most recent batch of scouts, they'd eventually move deeper into the hallway.

Finally, they would reach a fork in the road.

The Hallway they were now in branched off into three different paths. The first, the one on the left, smelled like burnt ash and firewood, a gentle warm breeze could be felt coming from deeper in the temple through here. The middle path started with a flight of stairs that disappeared upward into a spiral staircase, though a strange whisper could be heard eminating from high above. The final path, the one on the right, was normal so far as could be discenred, it had no features that differentiated it from the other two.

The choice was theirs.

As the group of three reached the end of the hallway, they entered a room that had three separate exits. They were largely impossible to distinguish between them, as Valik's lightsaber was the only source of light in the room. Jax was a bit stymied. They had no means of telling what time it was or how much time had passed. Perhaps that would be for the best. Seeing the skies would only make them worry about the time more. They needed to focus on survival. The goliath was not something they were going to be able to take on directly. They would need to be smart.

While Jax thought about which exit was the best to take, he scanned the room with his cybernetic eye. He was able to make out the shapes of stone tables, each looking reasonably heavy. There were a few of them, in addition to some lighter looking chairs. While Jax rushed to make a decision, he used the force to lift the marble tables one by one and pile them near the door, hopefully creating some semblance of a blockade. He had not tested his strength in the force lifting so many objects as once, and didn't want to try. The barricade needed to be precise and as solid as possible. Besides, it afforded Jax time to make a decision.

Jax looked at the three paths before him. One held a strange, burning smell, with a very pleasant breeze in juxtaposition. Another looked to be a large set of stairs. Some weird sound could be heard being emitted from the staircase. In volume, it was similar to passing by another Sith in the Academy. Indistinguishable, but undeniably existent. The third was totally normal, nothing extraordinary about it in smell sight or sonar... Something that Jax did not trust in the slightest.

"Look, we don't have enough time to debate. I don't trust the normal one, so I say we take the stairs or the pathway that has the breeze. You choose which of the two! Not like you've made any decisions up to this point anyways." That last snap was a born from Jax's overall frustration and need to vent about the situation. He sighed, before walking over to the sorcerer's rigid body. Jax wound up, and delivered a solid slap across the face, hoping that anything would rouse the Sorcerer from his slumber. Not that Jax was paying attention enough to the sorcerer to see if he had actually woken up. Jax sighed once more, before lifting the Deveronian's body with the Force.

"This makes sense, we'll trade off. One of us carries him with the Force, the other guards with blades. Now make our choice on which path, Zabrak. We don't have lots of time!"

The sounds of approaching sentries were getting louder and louder. They really didn't have time to stand around and deliberate.

Valik knew that Jax was right. The clear choice was not always the best. He looked at the two remaining hallways and then looked back at his comrade.

"Not the stairs."

Valik walked over to where the Sorcerer laid on the ground, very frustrated that this being who had gotten them into this mess was now of no real use to either of the Sith. As he approached the body, Valik swiftly kicked his boot out, making contact with the torso of the Deveronian Sith. There was still no movement but he wasn't really expecting that. It just felt good to get some of his anger towards this being out of his system before they had to get back onto the task at hand. Reaching down he took one of the hands of the Sorcerer and slung it over his shoulder. Using his legs, which made the lift easier, he hoisted the limp body across his shoulders as the two Sith started towards the hallway where a slight breeze could be felt.

It was dark, the tunnel they were in was lit only by the light of the two sabers which Jax now held.

As the three (well, two really) made their way down the long hallway, it would quickly dawn on the two conscious ones that the area the path they had chosen was longer than perhaps they may have originally thought. There was a light at the end of the tunnel, sure, yet it almost seemed on the edge of the horizon practically. Still, that breeze brushed against their faces as they ran from anything and everything. Sal's limp body was unmoving, nothing more than a corpse for the lack of a better word. As the three ran, unable to turn back, for the path behind them had disappeared into the darkness, the Legion would continue to speak, "My kind tried to flee once, then we saw there simply was nowhere to run, that we were destined to be slaves, culled when our purposes were fulfilled" the voice spoke with a chorus echoing his words. The sound of the Legion's voice seemed to come from all around now as it continued to speak, "You three are no better, you fail to see what is all around you-" the spirits stated as eyes and mouths spread over the floors and walls of the tunnel, "Death".

The tunnel around the group would begin to morph and change, as if space and time in this reality were being bent to the will of the Legion. The dark mouths and eyes lining the walls of the tunnel retreated ahead of the group, colliding into a single gesticulating blob of darkness. The tunnel would disappear, revealing the moonlit skies of Yavin IV. They had been tricked, bamboozled, hoodwinked, brought out into the open where the Legion could now unleash its true power. The dark blob of mouths and eyes and shadow continued to grow, as if all the shadows of this world were now converging on a single mass, quickly erupting upwards into a pillar of shadow at least twenty stories tall. The result of this grotesque metamorphosis was a black demonic creature, made of eyes and mouths that towared over the treeline, even over the temple of Yavin IV itself. "You lose" the Legion grinned, raising a foot to crush the three foolish sith underneath its foot and claim their souls as forfeit. There was nowhere to run now, time slowed down as the colossal being's foot came imminently at them.

Yet, this was not the end.

As the massive black foot seemed on the verge of crushing them all, the body of Saladin D'vant snapped to life. Dropping from the back of Valik, the scientist raised his hand up towards the massive black foot about to crush them before letting out a roar. The Dark Side flowed to him like a torrent, as if the dam toa mighty river had suddenly broken and now came full bore at him from all sides all at once. Such a deep connection tot he dark side did the sorcerer control, that it now manifested itself in front of his outstretched arm in a black swirling haze. After a moment, this haze expanded in a sudden jolt outwards, exploding to life in a pitch black vortez that now burled into the sole of the Legion's foot. The sorcerer cackled as he concentrated upon the single point in front of his arm, tears of wonder, power, and elation warped through his dark and twisted mind as he watched the dark vortex he controlled now rip the very body and flesh of the Legion apart. The miniature artificial black hole attracted and crushed all nearby mass, sucking the colossal titan's body yard by yard into the Force Vortex that Sal had created. The sorcerer's tears dried up though as he let out another triumphant cry, "EEEEEEUUUUUUURRRRREEEEEEEKKKKAAAAAA!" he screamed at the top of his lungs as the titan was helplessly pulled into the event horizon of the vortex, its body being crushed.

The Legion screamed in fear and anger as it failed to comprehend what was now happening. How had he been bested? How could three sith kill his kin so easily? Sal could feel the fear radiate from the creature, its many voices now all crying out in fear and desperation as it was drawn towards the infinite void. As the Force Vortex continued to destroy the titan, more would continue to be absorbed by its might. Trees, the earth, the clouds, the sky, all of it began to be uprooted and be drawn into the darkness of the void. Space, life, and time changed and fluctuated around the three as the sith found themselves now all standing inside the acropolis of Yavin IV once again, as if they had never entered trance in the first place. Finally, as the lat of the Legion screamed in fear, eventually crushed by the vortex, would Sal lower his arm and turn to face his two newfound 'friends'.

"Well, that settles that, good job everyone. Drinks are on me tonight" the Devaronian said, clapping his hands together with a nod and heading to the opened double doors to the temple, greeting the sunlight that now beamed into the open room.

That was that then.

Largely, Jax ran forward, further ahead of his two Sith companions at any rate. The Zabrak was a fair combatant to be sure, but as far as independent thought, his capacity seemed limited. And the albino, as he had been for what seemed like an eternity by this point, was still utterly useless. Like a dead corpse. He almost felt like a common bounty hunter, hauling in a kill for proof of death. Jax had almost been tempted to tell his companion to abandon the Devaronian in the temple, but he wasn’t willing to tempt the fates by defying the prediction that if one of them died, all of them would perish.

For quite a long time, the two ran down the hall, towards a light that never seemed to get any closer. But Jax kept moving. At this point, turning back wasn’t an option and the group needed to be absolutely certain in their decisions. However, it wasn’t before long that the manifestation had returned to haunt the group. Numerous eyes and mouths began protruding from the temple walls. Almost in a panic, Jax stabbed his lightsaber into the walls to pierce the eyes. However, where one was destroyed, three more appeared. More mouths appeared, threatening to swallow the motley crew entirely. Jax tried to fight for a bit, but eventually recognized that the efforts were futile. “Run!” Jax yelled towards the Zabrak, as he began to double time it out of the Temple.

Eventually, the Sith made it out of the hallway, and back out into the wilderness of the strange vision world. Jax immediately began to panic. They had been safe in the temple, able to stave off the assaults from the creature. Outside, they were completely vulnerable and unable to defend against a full onslaught. Their options were limited. They could not retreat into the hallway and it was impossible to run back around the the main temple entrance. They needed to fight. Make a stand. “Drop the worthless creep on the ground, we make our stand here!” Jax yelled at the Zabrak that had appeared to become his subbordinate. Wether or not he did, Jax did not see. His full attention was stolen by the encroaching Legion. The growing, strange mass of darkness and grotesque spirits became larger and larger, threatening to swallow them entirely. It was a pure amalgamation of the power of the Dark Side. Something beautiful, but also frightening. As the monstrosity raised its foot, Jax was steeling himself, attempting to defend. Jax attempted to catch the monster’s foot with the Force. He managed to hold the monster for a few seconds, but he was quickly buckling under its power. Jax pondered the void, wondering if this was the end. Knowing that he would go out fighting if he would go out, as the Sith had taught him, and the Mandalorians before him.

Then the attack ceased.

Jax experienced a sudden alleviation of the force of attack. Jax buckled for a second, falling to his knees and panting for breath. Sprinting out of the temple, then defending against the monster’s attack had taken a lot of energy out of the young Sith. Jax turned his head to the side, seeing the… Sorcerer, in full force, completely taking on the entity by himself. Jax could not fathom what was happening. Was that what the Albino was doing. Meditating, charging an attack of this scale? Jax had sensed a huge spike in Dark energy as the sorcerer did this. It was mesmerizing to watch almost. Jax had almost thought it was a hallucination for a brief second, a product of the night and all its trials. But alas, it was real.

As the monster was utterly destroyed by the sorcerer’s attack, the gravity around them seemed to get stronger and stronger, concentrating on the entity. Jax, as if out of pure instinct, stabbed his lightsaber into the nearby earth as an anchor. He felt the pull on him getting stronger and stronger as the world fluctuated and warped itself around him. He closed his eyes, hanging on for dear life. He felt he was in a void of dark energy, utterly at the mercy of the very power the Darkness had to offer… And then it was over.

Jax, feeling an extremely off-putting lack of stimulus, opened his eyes and looked around. He darted his head back and forth. They were back on the Yavin IV that they had started at. They were in the present. Were they out of the trance? Unknown for now. He got up slowly, a bit shaky from the extreme physical labour he had just performed. He looked at the albino, who seemed chipper and full of energy. He didn’t even care where the Zabrak was. He was totally fixated on the sorcerer, the source of all their problems and strife. Jax stood dumbfounded as the sorcerer seemed so calm, after everything had happened… No. Jax demanded answers.

Jax reached out with the Force to stop the sorcerer from leaving, tendrils of dark force energy wrapping around the sorcerer’s neck. Jax did not intend to kill, in case they were still in the trance, but Jax was incensed. Having been nearly totally depleted of energy, he felt himself be fuelled entirely by the Darkness. His anger, his hate, his adrenaline was totally amplified for the given moment. As Jax choked the sorcerer, he walked towards him slowly but surely. “Drinks… Drinks?! Where the hell do you get off?! We fought, we bled, only for you to help right at the last minute!” As Jax reached the sorcerer, he ceased choking, instead getting much more physical. He grabbed the Devaronian by the collar of his clothes, holding him face-to-face. “I’m gonna kriffing kill you for all the ossik you’ve put us through tonight! Kriffing di’kut!

Jax’s remaining eye, in a moment of being fuelled by the Dark Side, had turned yellow.

Valik did not dare turn back to look behind him as he ran further and further into the darkened tunnel. His anger grew with every passing moment as he carried the lifeless body of the sorcerer through this god forsaken place. He could hear the hiss of a lightsaber as Jax stabbed and sliced at the walls but it seemed as if this place and these twisted creatures were never ending. He could hear his comrade yell out for them to continue on their path. Valik lowerd his torso, lowering his center of gravity as he ran, charging through the many hands and outstretched arms that clawed at his robes and those of the sorcerer as he ran through the hallway. Suddenly they were outside. The Sith looked around, he shrugged his shoulders and the body he had been carrying fell to the ground with a thud.

Reaching down with both hands, he once again felt the familiar cold metal of his twin sabers fill his palms as he unclipped the hilts from his belt. A hiss could be heard followed by a rhythmic humming noise, and the smell of burnt ozone hung in the air as the crimson blades cast an amber hue upon the red and black skin of the Zabrak as he held the sabers in a defensive position, waiting for the enemy to strike.

The black thick smoke started to come together, forming itself into a huge manifestation of dark side energy. The being towered above even the great temple. The entity raised a massive foot and started to bring it down, only to be stopped a few meters from the ground. Valik saw Jax wield the darkside as he attempted to hold the massive foot above them. Then the sorcerer rose to his feet, sending streaks of lightning from his fingertips into the the large mass. He saw Jax slump to the ground as a large void started to appear. Extending a hand, Valik concentrated upon the darkside as he moved Jax away from the gaping hole, sucking everything into it. He could feel the gravity become heavier and heavier as everything was being drawn into the black hole.

Valik started to run the opposite way. He grabbed onto a metal torch sticking out of the ground, bracing himself. The ground started to break away as the torch broke free from its foundation. He started to slide towards the void. He slid past Sal and quickly reacted, grabbing a part of his robes, holding onto the cloth for dear life.

The floor started to transform around the Sith, the gravitational pull subsided as he was now laying upon the stone floor of the Sith temple, dust around him as it had been when the three had first started on this journey. He stood to his feet quickly, in time to see Jax walk over and grab the small Deveronian and hoist him up by his collar. Valik gritted his teeth as he walked over to the two.

“Don’t kill him just yet, I want the chance to exact pain on this small worthless slime.”

Sal continued to stroll towards the opened door, though, a smile crept up on his face as he felt a large flux of dark side energy swirl up from behind him. His hypothesis had proven correct once again, the power of the Legion had been divided equally through the three of them, even in their exhausted states were they able to generate the seething rage and hate required of any mighty sith lord. The two intrigued him, though his experiment was now completed. He would humor their advances, maybe it'd be fun. The Devaronian felt the black tendril of energy creep towards him, wrapping itself around his neck and tightening suddenly, dragging him back towards the two marauders.

The sorcerer laughed as he saw how frustrated the cyborg was, how the dark side now clung to him like a haze. He cared not for his own life now. He reached beyond the veil to see enlightenment. It was only as the human released the tentacle to angrily hold him by his collar that the scientist responded, his eyes trained on the now yellow pupils the marauder now posessed. "What, surely you didn't think we'd just waltz into the domain of lost souls and casually take their power did you? I played my part and waited for the best moment to strike, we'd be dead right now if it wasn't for me" he chuckled as if the words now spoken felt relaxed and casual, common sense at its core.

"You can feel it can't you? The power of the dark side, flowing through you with more vigor and power than before? I can see it in your eyes, I feel it in your anger, it hangs upon you both like a black death" the scientist said, looking over to the zabrak as he angrily began to approach where the two now were. "The power of the dark side has given us three new strength, at great cost. This is the gift I have given you both for your trobules" Sal sternly said, his gaze returning to the human as he felt rather tired of being hoisted up by his lapels by the human. The sorcerer nimbly grabbed his lightsaber from his right hip with his right hand, igniting it as he deftly tilted it with his wrist towards Jax's extended arms. Given that the two were almost chest to chest, and both the human's arms were holding onto him, the former would need to decide fairly quickly rather he would like to keep said arms or be the butt of many a bad 'lend me a hand' jokes for the rest of his days.

With some space now made between the three, Sal would hold his lightsaber in front of him in a typical Soresu stance, ready to nimbly move or deflect any oncoming attack as needed. "Listen babes. I gave you my word, I will return this favor when need be. While I dislike the idea of slaughtering you both and experimenting on your flesh, I'm not above such methods- just remember though, for all the malaise I may have caused you, think of the deathly malign I may bring to your enemies if you call upon me. This is my promise to you both" Sal said as he slowly began to move towards the door of the chamber. The contract between the three was now finished, there was nothing binding left between them all. It was time for them to go their separate ways for now. Should they decide to pursue him though, they would find a proven killer of jedi and sith alike opposing them.

"-Until then, let us go our separate ways and recover. There is a war coming after all, the brotherhood will need sith like us to fend off the jedi and mandolorians from two fronts. I'd hate to let your newfound power go to waste trying to kill little ol' me"

Jax found it hard to navigate through his feelings of sheer hate. It was new, never this profound before. He hated warriors that stood to the sidelines and came to steal glory at the last minute. They were cravens, all of them. The Sith were all about pushing themselves through combat and proving themselves. That being said, the sorcerer' power was undeniable. And considerable.

However, Jax found he didn't necessarily have time to consider. Without almost any warning, the albino's lightsaber was ignited and close to attacking. Jax was distracted by his anger and didn't consider pinning his arms to his sides. As a manifestation of the Dark Power he now possessed, Jax threw the sorcerer away from him with the Force. As he did, a tiny piece of Jax's hair was sliced off as the sorcerer flew away.

Jax decided he needed to reconcile his anger. They were all Sith, and powerful Sith at that. The infighting of the Sith needed to end if they were to ensure Imperial dominance throughout the Galaxy. "Very well... I acknowledge your efforts and power. sorcerer. I, Jax Merrik, will demand your aid further down the line."

Without another word, Jax turned round and began to exit the temple. No doubt the Imperial Private that had flown him here was waiting and perhaps growing impatient. Jax was curious what this new power would mean, and would explore it considerably further down the line.
