At the top of the large temple they stood. Serie and her father looked down from the top at the ships approaching. One by one they landed on the outreach of the city. Serie could have only suspected them to do so really, but now she felt bad for calling them. It wasn't going to matter anymore here very soon. She turned and looked at her father.

I'm ready. I'll initiate it. Give me the tome. She told her family as she walked up to the small altar in the centre of the room. Placing the book in the center of it she began to recite the words on the pages. Even as she did so, strange green energy started to swirl around her and her hands. Within moments the lights of the room went out and all that could be seen was the faint glowing green orbs.

She started to initiate the ritual when something on the page caught her eye. Something she hadn't noticed before when she was hastily looking at it while back on the ship. Suddenly her hands snapped back and the green energy began to disolve.

Just do it. End this pathetic galaxy once and for all. Her father said, staring at her intensely. He wasn't sure what his daughter was doing, but he knew that she was the only one that could do the ritual. So he stood there, his jaw locked tight as he stared at her.

You're all wrong. This isn't a ritual to end all life in the galaxy. She said at last, stepping back from the altar and the tome. Don't worry though. I'm more than a little curious to see what it can actually do.

Her newly adopted family merely looked at her in curiosity. Her father however still looked angry. Heresy. I should know what it's purpose is! My father was the one who finished writing the spell! He yelled at her, getting a flinch from the rest of his children as well.

Whatever they were trying to do, this wasn't it. I don't have time to decipher all of it right now. Vincent and the others will be here soon. She stopped and waited for a momemt. Was she really about to turn on them for her own family? She didn't see why not honestly. She was so very different from everyone else. So much depended on her. They couldn't understand those pressures. They wouldn't see her reasoning through this. She just wanted to discover something never discovered before. Do something no one had ever done.

With that she stepped back onto the outcropping of the temple, her siblings behind her as the cold wind blew through her hair and white coat.
Search the city. They won't be far away now. She told them as she herself took another step forward, her toes now on the edge of the roof. I don't want them interrupting me. You finish the preparations father, I'll handle my friends.

Do not take long. I need you here with me. I won't let this go to waste now. I shall convene with the dark side and see if it will tell me how to proceed. Exterminate all those that would try and oppose us. He said as he knelt in front of the altar and yhe tome and closed his eyes. The dark side ommediately filled the room, every corner and crevice seemed to become steeped in it.

Serie glance at her sibilings, her eyes on her sister the longest. She had a feeling that this was the part where things were going to get tricky. Her sister had a plan as well, although she didn't know what exactly, Serie knew her conniving side was as strong as hers. Then throw in all her friends, her two brothers, and not to mention Serie herself, and this was going to be a messy situation. She could already tell.

She kept from the rooftop and began making her decent. Waiting until the last moment she could really before kicking off the wall behind her and propelling herself forwards towards where she thought she had last sensed Abigail and Vincent. She looked over her shoulder to see her sister right behind her, making a cute face at her though Serie knew it was fake. She sumersaulted and landed on another roof much further down and Serie stayed up high, mostly so she could keep an eye on her sister. Then she picked up Vincent's signature again and ran straight for it. She really wanted to get to them before her sibilings did. If the ritual was wrong, she could convince them that they should all go home and just let her have her fun bending reality to her whims. She did realize how pompous this made her sound, but really she was looking to do something nobody have ever attempted before. When was the next time like this going to come around she asked herself. She knew she had to make it work this time if it was going to work at all.

Finally spotting the group she landed on the building just in front of them. A stark difference in her clothes since they saw her several hours ago. She wore almost the same uniform as her older brother now, except obviously with a skirt instead of slacks.

Vincent. Abi. Oskar. Eisa. I think it's time you go back. This is now a family affair. Outsiders aren't necessary in what I'm about to do. She said coldly. She rather wouldn't fight them, instead she wanted to just talk it out. She had a feeling though that that might be out of the question. She waited to see how they would react first before taking further action. She did feel a bit of a sense of urgency though. One due to her father perhaps finding a way to make the ritual work without her there, and two, her siblings could show up any second and then there wouldn't be time to talk anymore. And she had a feeling that if the latter happened, it would be a fierce fight for everyone. Still she stood there and hoped that they would take the easy road and just turn around and leave now, but she doubted that like she doubted tatooine had a water bed under all that sand.

Abigail was starting to get a little worried, Serie had stopped feeding her the sights around her, and now she couldn't even reach her mind. Serie had closed herself off from Abigail, and that only meant two things - someone else was in her head, or she didn't want Abi in there anymore. Either possibility was no less unsettling than the other, and that was why Abigail was sprinting as hard as she could through the city, her heart pounding into her chest with each hard and heavy footfall upon the worn stone roads. She looked besides her and nodded at the entourage that followed: Eisa, Vincent, and Oskar. They were all Serie's friends too (even Eisa, despite only knowing her for two minutes), and she breathed a sigh of relief knowing she could count on them to help her save the girl - even she couldn't take on the whole fetish gang herself.

Abigail slammed her feet down and came skidding to a halt as Serie smashed down on top of the building just opposite them, in the square where her fam fam had set themselves down. Looking her up and down, she already expected the worst before she opened her mouth. Even setting aside the fact that she now looked like her 'brother', there was something different in her aura too; the way she was standing, walking, and in a moment, talking, it was all different. She narrowed her eyes at the words she spouted- no, not even words, doctrine, the zealous doctrine of her so-called 'Father'.

Abigail stepped forward, motioning for the others to stay back, just in case Serie tried something. Holding up her hands to show she was unarmed, she ifted herself off the ground and flew up to Serie's level, hovering at eye level with her.
"Serie, while I am extremely jealous that you get to perform a ritual that powerful and empowering, no offense hun, I'd rather not be one of the victims of a galaxy-wide culling," She said softly, unafraid of showing the fear and worry in her eyes. "You know this is wrong, what your so-called family is doing isn't you, you know that, are you really willing to destroy everything you truly care about for the people who only love you for your power?"

Okay, one thing here was for certain: Serie was NOT being Serie right now. She wasn't dressed like Serie, didn't smile like Serie and she absolutely wasn't talking like Serie.

Abigail stepped forward, signaling pretty obviously that she intended to take the lead. She was likely the best choice to do so, being the most powerful of the four of them. However Vincent had always been a creature of emotion and his dark side tendencies only ever seemed to amplify this.

He let Abigail give her speech, but he had a feeling Serie would not listen. He had to think fast, he could feel the presences of her siblings on approach.

He leapt up to the rooftops to be on the same level as them. He made no show of being unarmed like abigail had but Serie -even in this state- should know he would not hurt her. For the moment he would wait, but he did reach up and push the button on his helmet to retract the upper half of the faceplate so that Serie cojld at the very least see the concern in his bright yellow eyes.

Oskar feared something like this might happen, where there would be a time where he had to fight Serie. He didn't want to but if he most the Jedi was prepared to do what was necessary to make sure Serie doesn't do whatever it is that she was being force to do. And Oskar truly believed she was being force to do this after everything he had seen and learned of the Sith. It just didn't seem right that she would try to cause massive amount of harm. Right now he wanted to go and charge her to pull the woman he had started to fall for away from this whole situation. Maybe that was wishful thinking on the Jedi's part.

Maybe he could say something but he wasn't sure, right now all he could see is her jumping onto the building across from them. Almost like she wanted to have a talk with us. Whatever it was though Oskar had a feeling they were being watched and couldn't really have a good conversation. Still when she said it was family matter Oskar's heart sank. Quickly recomposing himself the Jedi couldn't allow his emotions to take away from his control and center within the Force. No matter how bad it was looking.

Listening to one of the Sith speak, it was slightly heart warming to know others were just as concern. Yet also Oskar felt like maybe there was a better way to get her back. Hoping for a answer to suddenly appear, sure he hadn't known her long but still he wasn't about to let someone who he thought could change away from the dark side go. No he saw something in her and would make sure it materialize one day.

Waiting for the Sith to finish before Oskar spoke up the Jedi wasn't sure what to say but he just let it out.

"Serie I am not aware of what has happened. But all I know is right I am worried about you. I seen what you're like outside the order, I can't believe this to be something you're seriously interested in." Oskar maybe didn't know Serie all that well but he was sure she didn't want to kill the galaxy or harm this many people on such a scale.

Serie looked at all of them and smiled widely. All around her the small pieces of duracrete began to peel off the roof and walls below her. Her eyes shot over to the main temple where her father was beginning to channel the dark side as well.

It's starting. She almost whispered. Her eyes came back to Abigail. Staring pretty hard at her as her brow furrowed slightly and she smiled confidently at her.

You're jealous. Figures. I don't blame you not wanting to be culled with the herd. I would fight it too. This spell, whatever it is, is my birth right! She said, getting more serious as she spoke. Even as she did so the building she was standing on was now slowly being ripped apart, larger pieces came free from the structure. Finally it gave and collapsed beneath her. She fell gracefully, still standing on the largest part of the roof that had collapsed until it was inches from the ground. She hopped off rather casually and looked up at Vincent and Oskar.

Are you going to try and deny me my birth right? They don't even know what it really is, only I do. I can do something no one has ever done before. Even if that means risking everything, aren't you the least bit curious what I could make? She stopped, realizing that she was merely speaking her sisters words now. Everything about her felt hollow. Everything she didn't want to do she was so passionate about. And the thing she was being forced to do she was so very apathetic to. She almost winced after the words finally left her throat.

She then realized that her little stunt of showing off was probably a beacon to her sibilings now however, and she had to hurry up with a decision. She knew she didn't want them to die, but at the same time she knew the spell was probably wrong, her father had misinterpreted the texts. But there was also the chance she was wrong. She only got to look at it for a few minutes after all. What if he was right and she was about to destroy everyone in the galaxy? What if she was right though? Her indecision was just making her more frustrated however and she began to channel the force through her once more. Finally letting out a loud ear piecing scream.

GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I DON'T KNOW! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ALRIGHT!

Vincent listened to Serie and watched as the buildimg crumbled, this was bot good. The force signatures of her supposed siblings were getting nearer.

Then Serie let out a blood curdling scream, it pained him to see her like this. So in that moment he decided.

"Enough.sst"

He leapt down off the rooftop to where Serie stood. Literally a foot and a half from her on the same chunk of rubble.

"DAMNIT SERIE!sst he shouted before an idea struck him.

He reached up his right hand and gripped his helmet under his chin, looking her right in the eyes as he ripped it from his head. First he gasped sharply, the outside air stinging in his ruined lungs -the dust from the collapsing building did not help this- he coughed for a moment before speaking. His yellow eyes locked on hers.

"Serie...we both know...this..this aint you. Yer better than this. Whatever the kriff..these freaks that...call themselves yer...family....whatever they say...ya gotta know theyre....just using you...end all life in the galaxy? ...thats...thats not somethin' MY Serie would ....do....who would....who would show the....damn Jedi....that fear is better than them...huh?"

He choked out his words, tears streaming down his face both from emotion and the fact that he was slowly choking to death on his own lungs.

Then he reached to his belt and pulled up his lightsaber, holding the hilt out to her pommel first.

"If...if yer gonna do this...then you might...as well.. Start with...me.. Cause I don't...I wont try ta stop...ya...bstop...ya...but dont...dont make me watch you....go against...everything that is you."

His speech at an end Vincent was becoming light headed. He could survive for a half hour without his breathing apparatus but it was painful to begin with and that much speaking accelerated his deterioration. He dropped to his knees in front of Serie, his hand with the saber still extended and now shaking. His helmet fell from his fingers and rolled to the side.

This would be his final moment if he did not get through to her. Though staring into those eyes wouldn't br too bad a way ta go. he thought to himself as the edges of his vision began ti go black.

Abigail couldn't deny anything that Serie was saying. Terrified though she was at the idea, she was simultaneously jealous and excited at the prospect of a playing god over all things. She recoiled a little as the roof around Serie began to give way, the gathering storm overhead only accentuating the pitfall. Serie was unaffected by it, dropping harmlessly to the ground, and Abigail quickly followed, sensing that her so called siblings were drawing near. They had to bring her around now, otherwise they would more than likely have a very difficult fight on their hands. Abigail would have probably come down to try and talk Serie down a little more, but then she let out an ear-splitting scream that completely shattered any kind of concentration she had. Abigail crashed to the ground like a lump of dead meat, a sickening crack sounding throughout the street as some of her ribs caved in.

Dazed, she looked up and saw Vincent trying to reason with her, and Abigail cursed herself for not thinking of that earlier. He had offered himself, basically saying if you're so evil, kill us. Abigail staggered to her feet, clutching her side, and removed a vibroknife from her pocket, offering the hilt to her.
"If this is the path you really want to go down, like you said? Prove it...kill Vincent, kill me...we'll be dead in a few minutes anyway, won't we?" She grunted, staring hard at Serie.

Watching intently as Abigail rose up to face the abducted Sith, her eyes narrowed and forehead furrowing as she watched the exchange between her bestest friend and the Sith, despite the positioning of Abigail obscuring her view of Seerie. As consistently hard as things were to keep track of for the young teen the unfolding events were more so becoming increasingly difficult to comprehend, the Sith Seerie was speaking not as if she was a captive but had turned her back on the Sith, and was attempting to destroy the galaxy some how. The mechanics of which went right over the fiery haired teens head, the only thing that was clear was this person was no longer their friend. The confirmation coming as the building that Seerie was standing upon shattered into pieces, followed by an ear piercing scream.

The young teens eyes widened in horror as she saw Abigail come plummeting towards the ground and landing with a crack, her blood instantly running cold as she regarded her friend laying stricken on the floor, "ABI!!!" Eisa screamed in terror, shortly before Abigail slowly got back up onto her feet. Her gaze shifted over towards the masked Sith, Vincent at she approached the woman hearing the exchange between them, the man appeared to be offering his life to her, her eyes narrowing in frustration. Why was everyone offering themselves up to the butchers block? the teen questioned internally, her musing getting torn away as Abigail following on the now de-masked Sith's example offered Seerie her knife. Anger and frustration was boiling within the teen as she regarded the two older Sith try to convince Seerie to take their lives.

The air around the fiery haired girl, visibly darkened as the lingering darkness within her sparked into life, entranced by the surging anger and frustration that was washing over the teen, before finally sinking its teeth into the pent up and bottled emotional turmoil that resided deep within the teens core, her mind was still raw over the revelations about her father on Bakura, completely lacking on the emotional fortitude the only option she knew was to repress it all. Her bright emerald hued eyes, slowly seeped into black onyx orbs as her body continued to consume and radiate with the purest energies of the Dark Side, her hands balling up tightly into fists, knuckles whitening under the strain.

"Leave them alone!" the young teen screamed at the top of her lungs whilst taking a step forward, her black eyes glaring hard at Seerie. "Don't you dare touch Abi!" she added, the scream being replaced with an audiable bitter snarl, as her eyes turned to her side, focusing briefly on an abandoned swoop bike. If Seerie was contemplating stealing away the only person who mattered to her, then Eisa would personally that she will rain down the literal fires of hell upon anyone who would dare harm the only person she ever truly cared about.

Stretching her hand out towards the abandoned swoop bike she unleashed darkened wisps of energy towards the stricken vehicle, the barely visible tendrils of dark rippling energy wrapping around the bike before sinking into its very core, the dark energies surging through the interior of the craft, and snaking their way into the fuel cells within. With a flick the fingers of her outstretched hand opened and the vehicle was given a final overloading surge of energy, forcing it to erupt into a large fireball. The blast was far enough away from any of those gathered to not cause any harm, but causing harm was not the intent! Not Yet atleast! Eisa wanted to send a clear message that she was serious, she would not allow any one to harm her family, especially her Abigail! Standing firm her dark onyx eyes stared unrelenting towards Seerie, as her hand summoned her curved light saber hilt to bare, the area around the young teen flooding with an amber hue as she brought her weapon to life.

Oskar wasn't sure what in the name of the Force was going on anymore but one thing was for sure is that if Serie tried screaming like that again he is getting duck tape. So far all he seen is the Sith land in front of Serie to seemingly test her. Which in Oskar's honest opinion was pretty stupid. Right now Serie didn't need people asking her to kill them. So ignoring them and feeling the closing in of more dark side energy which at this point was almost suffocating. How did one live their life's like this. Right now everyone had way to much emotion for anyone to be thinking clearly. That made sense for the number of Sith and dark side energy so Oskar being the only one with any sense pulled out his rifle and extended his senses to figure out where the threats were coming from.

At this point best to prepare, but seeing how most of the group is next to Serie he simply just looked towards her and the two people kneeing before her and spoke as plainly as possible. Without the whole need to be dramatic which was getting quiet old with these people.

"Serie you may not know what you want to do right now, but clearly the people acting stupid in front of you care deeply for you. Right now they are the ones wanting to actually be a part of your life. So let's skip the whole dramatic act and get ready for the supposed family that will probably come to kill us all regardless of the ending of this ritual." Oskar wanted to see Serie's eyes hoping against all hope that they be the same color that he saw on Dantooine.

Even if they weren't right now Oskar kept his rifle in his arms facing the direction of the closes dark sider that was approaching them. Right now if the family showed up a Sith who can't breath is going to be useless without his inhaler. A probably Oskar would be fine with fixing later if medically possible, and another Sith that was also just kneeing with a knife facing her throat. Definitely smart people. It's a wonder the Jedi hadn't killed them already. But he kept that little dark thought in his own head, and allowing the light side of the Force to feed his body preparing for some quick reactions in case of a fight. He planned to snipe anyone that tried to threated Serie's clearly mental break down and cause her to choice the wrong side.

Serie couldn't believe what she was seeing. Or hearing for that matter. Both of her closest friends were offering themselves to her to prove she wasn't going to go through with it. Of course she knew it too, but hearing the pain in Vincent's voice as he spoke caused her eyes to start to water. Before he do ally fell on his knees in front of her, about to pass out from the talking he was doing without his mask on. She felt her heart sink and quickly grabbed his mask with the force and secured it back onto his face with a mechanical hissing sound as it latched back on.

She fell to her knees and held his face in her hands, the tears slowly falling down her cheeks as she looked at him and then Abigail. She hated herself for doing this to them. I can't forgive myself for what I almost did. But I can make it right. She almost whispered to Vincent and Abigail before a explosion could be heard. Serie shit her eyes over to Eisa who had detonated a speeder. Well that's great. Now they definitely know where we are.

I'm going to make this right.
She said, standing back up and looking at her friends. She knew they would have to take care of her sibilings, only she could handle her father, still channeling the dark side in the temple above. She turned and looked up at it, a determination now apparent on her face.

I'm going to make it right. She said again, much louder this time, and then she was gone. She leapt up so fast she appeared as a blur, moving almost to fast to see. She ran and jumped from wall to rooftop to tower, ascending the structure almost as fast as she had fallen from it. She knew she probably was about to face her biggest threat of her life, but whereas before she was filled with indecision and doubt, now she had her vigor and determination back. She came sliding to a stop in front of the temple, the bodies from the previous slaughter still strewn about. She took a deep breath and started walking up the steps, the steely look in her eyes never fading.

Serie was gone. They knew that much. But they weren't going to go after her, deciding that perhaps fighting her old friends was too much for her. They didn't mind though, she was needed for the ritual with their father. They would handle her friends now.

Sister is gone. What should we do?

We should kill them!

That is good.

The three voices said from behind Vincent Abi and Eisa, oskar probably being able to track them still. They spread out a bit, the oldest brother unsheathing his great sword and holding it in one hand at his side, eying up both Vincent and Oskar, bidding them forward with his free hand.

Series sister grabbed her whip from her back as she came around towards Eisa. Seeing as how the woman had already gotten a small bit of her whip the last time, she knew it would only take a few more cuts and the red head teen would be hers. She spun it in her hand gathering some momentum before cracking it towards Eisa's torso.

Series youngest brother stared hard at Abigail, his mechanical arms whirring up as he took a combative stance.
I know what monster you really are. My scanners detected it the moment I saw you. You won't take my sister from me! He yelled at her before taking off ata sprint straight at the woman, the center of his hands starting to light up as he ran, before he finally leapt at her and shot one foot out to catch her in her midsection.

Series father senses her approaching, and while he was unsure why she had returned so quickly, he was eager to start the ritual. He stood from his kneeling position in front of the tome and got ready to start things. He had waited his whole life for this moment as well, and now both his, and everyone else's fate, was about to be decided.
