What is going to happen in your plot? Korriban was lost, the Emperor fell alongside her, and his successor was chosen, but is young, and came to prominence as a member of a Reality Holonet Program. The Masses love her, and the Major Players are much too concerned with this strange new threat to properly make their moves, but plenty of middle men are taking advantage of the chaos to challenge the Empire's authority and actually believe they can get away with it. Prove them wrong. Our house is in disarray, and it falls to us to fix it.

Sith Acolye Callum Veles Attar has spent far too long compiling information and has decided on four major events that should go a long way in re-establish the Empire's rule while it works to take back Korriban and erase this defeat from history. They are as follows:

1. Spring Clean for the May Queen: A mid-level merchant guild in Raxus believes the Empire will leave them hanging and is preparing to liquidate its assets and default on a significant loan. This group of traders is being instigated by their would-be leader, Min Li, a male Gossam. Thankfully, Li's second-in-command, Mei Shan has been shown to be a massive Emperor in Paradise fan. Mr. Li needs to find his way into retirement and this must be done in such a way that Ms. Shan does not blame the Empire. (Dice Thread)

2. The Piper Will Lead Us to Reason: Ord Mantell has not joined the Empire's ranks for long. But its burgeoning industry that turns trash into treasure has become an important resource of the Sith-ruled lands. Unfortunately, it seems that while our eyes were turned to outside threats, some of these industry corporations decided to come together and start defrauding the Empire, by claiming to produce less than they actually do, and sneaking the extra away as a rainy day fund. It is tax avoidance, and a slap in the face. Sadly, the Empire truly had been busy, and things only came to our attention when a group of Ranat mercenaries stumbled onto this treasure-filled bunker and took it over. Imperials are required to either bargain with the Rodents, or eliminate them. Either way, the majority of the stolen goods must be confiscated publicly, and paraded around Ord Mantell as a sign to not mess with the Empire. (Dice Thread)

3. A Songbird Who Sings: The fact that the new Empress was chosen as a result of participating in a reality holonet program has not gone by unnoticed. A growing portion of Holonet users are actively slandering and defaming the new arrival to the throne. Among these dissidents is Iuhad'tarog, a female Twi'lek more commonly known by her artist name Had'ta (Had to), who has been particularly instrumental in rousing crowds and instigating conflict. Sadly, this is a public figure, and her mysteriously disappearing would end up giving her conspiracy theories wings. The woman is set to give a show in a private Yacht-Class Ship in Space near Zeltros. Use whatever means necessary to persuade her to change her mind, without mangling or killing the woman. (Self-DM)

4. Buying a Stairway to Heaven: Colla IV is holding a conference where public speakers will debate the rights of this new Empress and the future of the United Protectorate. Influential individuals, or those well-versed in political matters are asked to enter into this debate and secure the Empire a decent look in front of the cameras. As a result of the publicity revolving this event, no combat of any kind is to be held, and threats are to be kept to a minimum, where they cannot be advertised. The focus here is diplomacy, and showing an Empire with nothing to fear, or hide. (Opposition DM - Thread is Diplomacy only, with all forms of Combat Fully Disabled (cPvP included) - United Protectorate Characters will have priority pick, both in the side of the Empire and the Opposition)
Edit: To clarify a little, this would be a political stunt, and would not make a particularly large splash in the grand scheme of things. I just figured UP characters could use a thread thrown their way, every now and again.

What other players will be a part of this? Any Imperial Character that wishes to do so, with the possible addition of United Protectorate members on thread 4. Mission issued by @Callum Attar
Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place? Raxus, Ord Mantell, The Inner Rim (Outer Space, near Zeltros), and Colla IV
Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. No need. The assignments are unrelated and therefore can occur simultaneously, or months apart.
What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"? As a result of a run-in with a rather angry Darth, Callum has decided to keep his head down and play the model Sith for a spell, all the while choosing to do as little work as possible. The happy medium he found was issuing a Mission Pack of his own.
Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. No, although if any feel it interesting to make an appearance, I would gladly do my best to work them into the story.

PS: This is my first time proposing a Mission Pack, so I'm not entirely certain if this can constitute one, but figured this would be the best way to find out. If it's a no-go, then no hard feelings.

If it can work however, then I haven't decided on a number of participants per thread, and would very much like an opinion, if at all possible. Thanks!

So, generally, plots have a theme to them and there are threads leading up to a goal; the admin staff had a couple months back cracked down on members trying to link unrelated stories together. I think you have something with working with PR stuff, but I can't really justify this as a faction plot.

For now, I am going to have to reject this.

I suggest though maybe using some of what you have here, such as threads 3 & 4 and resubmitting the plot as a PR scheme to twist public image in favor of the Empire in the UP or something of the like.

Sounds good to me. Like I'd mentioned previously, even I thought this'd be a stretch, but ultimately I lacked the notion of a baseline to work off of, which is why I figured I'd throw it up anyhow, so that I might at least learn something from watching this fail. On that level, I'm definitely calling this a win. Thanks for the reply, and apologies for any time I might've wasted. I thought this'd be better than flooding one of you guys with abstract and esoteric questions about what might constitute a faction plot.

And thanks especially for the PR scheme idea. I've still got half a mind to try and do something with the UP, so I might just run with that.
