SHADOW AND FLAME, EXILE TAKEOVER OF MUSTAFAR
If the Exile Order is to regain its stranglehold on the galaxy it needs more than just walking brain parasites or a pile of Jedi bodies. They need resources, connections, dedicated bases, and stronger connections to the Darkside of the Force, and the planet Mustafar has all of this and more. A remote mining world located far from the scrutiny of any major galactic government or faction, Mustafar is a world rich in mineral resources mined by the insular and utilitarian Mustafarian subspecies. The planet is rife with corruption and suffering, making it a perfect place for an army of wanted war-criminals to establish a foothold. There is something else about Mustafar as well, a potent darkness to it far beyond most other worlds that must be explored and understood if the Order is to grow stronger with the Darkside. With operations already in place on worlds like Anzat and Agamar, establishing a strong foothold in the galactic south could be key to winning the next war against the hated Jedi.
OOC: This plotline, much like Dark Roots and The Enslaving Of Worlds, revolves around Jedi Exiles coming to Mustafar to establish a foothold for their faction on the planet. While the Mustafarians don't particularly care for any side of the Hundred Years Darkness, they are a practical and wary people who will need much convincing if we are to turn their planet into an Exile base. You can read up more about Mustafar on Wookieepedia or on the site's Canon planet write-up found here. This will help you get a better feel for rping on Mustafar, but is by no means required.

THREADS:
THREAD 1, Counter-Piracy: A local band of pirates based in the Polis Massa asteroid field have been harassing Mustafarian shipping companies for weeks. Their leader, a hulking Klatooinian cyborg known only as 'Silver', has been leading the ragtag band on increasingly damaging raids which have cut deep into Mustafarian profits. Your objective is simple, kill Captain Silver and destroy his pirate outpost.
OOC: A team of Exiles in an Ask thread will try to destroy the Silver Gang pirate group and kill their captain. Death is a possibility in this thread as the DMed pirates will be more than eager to defend their treasure. How the objectives are completed, however, falls to the team of Exiles to decide. Happy hunting!

THREAD 2, Hi-Ho Chitin: One of the most sacred, and inane, rituals on Mustafar is to saddle and ride a Lava Flea across a river of lava. An already difficult task made even more dangerous by the fact that it must be done without any safety equipment or advanced technology. This sacred rite is perhaps one of the most dangerous in the galaxy, but in order to win the respect of the Mustafarian people, two Exiles must saddle up and cross Berken's Flow, the largest lavafall in the galaxy. Be wary though, lava eels are known to dwell in and around Berken's Flow, and will not hesitate a chance to snag a lava flea trying to cross the river.
OOC: This will be an Ask thread about two Exile PCs to cross Berken's Flow on flea-back. The exact details of the mission will be up to their discretion, so the risk of death is next to none. However, the thread must be sufficiently dangerous to ensure both a challenge and the respect of the Mustafarians.

THREAD 3, Into The Mines: The Klegger Corp Mining Company is having some trouble with AG3-T, one of their most famous mining facilities. Namely, they disturbed a nest of Xandank that have overrun the mines and threaten the rest of the facility as well. Xandank are highly durable creatures and wily pack-hunters that use the maze like structure of the mines against their prey. A team of Exiles must go into the mines, kill the Xandank, and report back to the foreman with the good news. Beware though, the mines run deep into an active volcano and some areas may have flooded with lava. Or worse, Lava Eels.
OOC: An Ask thread with little chance of death in which a team of Exiles will descend into Mustafarian mines in order to exterminate a pack of Xandank. It will be up to the players to decide what dangers they will face in the mines, so feel free to get creative.

THREAD 4, Pest Control: A local gang in Last Resort calling themselves the Red Roggwarts have been causing trouble for both locals and offworlders alike in the city, and apparently they have a particular interest in the Exiles. Or more accurately, their two biggest Southern Mustafarian enforcers have an interest in killing Exiles to prove their strength. The twins Uron and Skazic are the backbone of the gang, and without them the group would lose much of its power in Last Resort. Local authorities are more than eager to see the Red Roggwarts gone, and this is a prime opportunity to curry some favor with the natives. Be warned though, Uron and Skazic are no easy prey.
OOC: This is an Ask PVP thread between two Exiles and two DMed Mustafarian gangsters. Your character can die in this 2v2 match, and the twins are not pushovers. Southern Mustafarians are incredibly strong, highly resistant to heat, and have thick, durable chitin shells. Not to mention their suits of heavy mining armor and lightsaber resistant electrostaves. Veteran PVPers are recommended, but not required.

THREAD 5, The Heart of Darkness: There is a place on Mustafar known only to the locals as "The Locus". It is a small magmatic cave on the farthest end of Mustafar, and is feared by the natives for its powerful connection to the Darkside. Those who enter the Locus are reportedly stricken with terrible, maddening visions. But if this place truly is a wellspring of the Darkside we must understand this place to gain greater power in the Force. If the cave truly is as strong as the rumors claim, it would be an excellent place to start a fortress.
OOC: This will be an Open thread, although I don't know why anyone without Force sensitivity would fly out into the middle of nowhere's nowhere just to check out a cave. Death is enabled, although the likelihood of dying depends on how the thread is written. When the players enter the cave they will be struck with visions, spirits, hallucinations, and/or bad dreams which they must overcome in order to succeed. Also, considering a future Exile castle may be built here be careful with your descriptions, they will help define how the area looks in all future rps.
