Im not kidding. It is required that you play this at night with your lights turned off. Its one of those adventure games where you point and click the screen looking for clues and such.

Its really freakin hard...I have made it pretty far, and the story is pretty cool. Except for the cliche first part.

You find yourself with amnesia in the woods... you have to find shelter before the temp. reaches below zero... and what do you know! a house on a nearby hill.....

I have to agree with Dex on this one. Most interesting part that I played was just reading the journal left by that dude, which was filled with grammatical errors, for one who was apparently very articulate, lol.

Hullo.. read the title... Scariest FLASH game.. Im not talking Cthulhu Dark corners of the earth, or silent hill level shit here. Its a freakin' flash game lol. However I will concede, it does get boring. Apparently there is a sequel, but I wont be playing it.

Which brings to mind.. what is the scariest game you guys have ever played?

That is a very tough question. Though, in all honesty, I have not played very many games that were really all that scary. I've played many that were meant to be, but weren't though, lol

Scariest game I've played? hmm........... uh, I can't think of one right now, lol, but I'd have to say that some parts of BioShock were genuinely frightening, like the first level (which is in the demo) when you're in the bathysphere. I didn't want to get out of it at first... there was a splicer out there who just ripped some guy to shreds, and you're not given a weapon, lol.

Dino Crisis 3 was not scary. Dino Crisis 1 is like RE, cept it was Dinos.

I played Dino Crisis 1. Though I don't remember it much, it caught me off guard now and again. I believe one of my favorite lines comes from that series. The person you play as ses a dinosaur that apparently mauls one of your teammates and you go to call your intelligence guy and he says something about, "Oooooh, did Barney scare you?" along those lines and is met with a few curse words. Once again I don't remember it too well. Most of the early Resident Evil stuff was freaky. Eternal Darkness had it's 'wtf' moments aswell.

Are we talking about the same F.E.A.R.? First Encounter Assault Recon? With you as the pointman and the little girl Alma? That was about as scary as say.. Half-Life 2. No, half-life 2 gets the props over this game. Sure, Alma was creepy as hell, but after jumping for the sixth time, I realized something, she, the main bad guy's ghost, and your buddies ghost, CANT HURT YOU. The other enemies have been done a thousand times... crawly assasin? Done before. Mercanary army... paleeze. I only finished the game because I really liked the story... well Alma's story anyway.. that was creepy... 8 years? No, the scariest thing about F.E.A.R. was in the director's cut, there are 4 interviews with Alma.. those where creepy but not scary. Overall F.E.A.R wasn't all that scary.
