Just pointing out, Super Tactical Droids are not supposed to exist for several thousand years in this time-line.

Just a quick note before we end up doing a full review of this - part of the point of people posting tech apps in here is so that they can also receive comments and criticism from other people on the forum. The sheer fact that you posted this tech app means that you've already given the "OK" for people to come and comment on it and point things out like Fox did, same as with the profile boards. Besides, somebody making a post doesn't inherently stop you from being able to work on the tech app/work on something else away from it anyways. =P

Basically what Elijah said. If you post something on the profiles board for approval that's giving everyone permission to comment, regardless if you were busy or ready for it. Please keep that in mind before you BM someone for commenting.

Additionally taking 7 shots is ludicrous. Try 2-3 max just like heavy body armor.

Since it's a small, human-sized droid - and definitely not one that's meant to go onto a battlefield and actually fight, judging by the description - I'm going to hold it to armour standards; specifically, due to the fact that this wouldn't be an actual battle droid, I'm going to say it can take at most 2 hits from a regular blaster and 1 direct hit from a heavy blaster, although that direct hit would be leaving it in more of a "oh my god run away" sort of state rather than a "get up and keep fighting" sort of state, similar to if you get hit by a high-powered rifle wearing a ballistic vest. It keeps you alive, it doesn't necessarily keep you fighting.

Other than that, though, the others have pointed something out: tactical droids aren't really a thing right now. They were considered new in TCW, because tactics and formations and all that were and are skills that are hard to program into a droid - battles aren't like chess, after all, and can't be solved just with mathematics and probabilities. There's a lot more beyond that. And TCW is still ~1000 years in the future from where we're at this timeline.

If you want, you can edit it into a protocol droid/battle-guard droid, with the protocol droid functionality being shown as the *primary* functionality, enabling it to still potentially do the spy thing (assuming anybody's going to accept a droid from a Hutt without thoroughly inspecting its chassis and programming). If you do that, I'll let you up the armour resistance for it to 3 shots with regular blasters and 2 for a survivable maximum with heavy blasters.

Other than that, I'd like to see some more in the description for it - as it is, it just reads as "generic droid" minus the spy/tactical droid ability. Why was it made, who made it, are there others like it? Can it only see thermal vision, or do its optics go into visible light as well? Are there any tools beyond the holoprojector and recorder? What's its role going to be with your Hutt?

Of course, given that I won't let it be a tactical droid, you'll have to update all that description and the intent anyways. But a guard/battle droid hidden inside a protocol droid that could still theoretically be used as a spy droid is still pretty cool.

You should probably focus in on what you want out of this droid. You can probably be a guard droid, a translator droid, or a spy droid. But I doubt you'll be able to have all three.

Also, if you do decide to keep this as a guard droid, I highly doubt you'll be allowed to have them able to fight with the skills of a Jedi.

thx outlander.

You.... You didn't change anything. I think you changed the wording so it can only hold off a Jedi, but that doesn't change anything really.

Edit: Ok, I'm gonna assume you're still editing this and wait for @Elijah Brockway to chime in with an actual review.
