History: Australian continued the past two years much the same as it had the years before. Its economy boomed, growing massively and rapidly. New legislation banned many dirty industries, but brought in many High-Tech ones. These soon grew, and a high tech industrialization occurred. With the recession occurring in the US, many people began to leave the country. They found a home in Australia. A massive migration occurred, boosting Australia with people from countries around the globe. Soon, cities began to grow inwards, and the formerly barren desert became somewhat less so. An effort was made, and large portions of Central Australia became national parks, and were soon developed into tourist traps.
Military: 25,000 in the standing army. 17,000 in reserve.
The high tech industry boom in Australia did not go unnoticed by its military. Australian military technologies advanced rapidly. A large armada of Submarines was formed, although no new battleships were. By 2011, Australian military production technologies rivaled the European Powers and the United States.
