Kathry clicked off the communicator, encrypting the message, and fed it into the ship's public comm relay. She triggered a secure burst transmission to the Aegis, a Sith prowler ship on station a few distant clicks away. She had climbed onto the upper girders, and recommended that her partner do the same. In silence, the sorceress rigged a web of support nets so they could rest in relative comfort. Below them lay a hundred thousand liters of black water, and surrounding them, two centimeters of durasteel. The fill sensor had been rigged by Imperial Forces so the reservoir’s computer wouldn’t let any more water flow into the storage tank. The fiery glow projecting from her eyes cast a pattern of crossing and crisscrossing reflection lines.
The most ideal situation - all by design...
Kathry grinned from ear to ear at the delicious deception she had enacted. They had stowed aboard the L'Eau d'Bamur, a luxury yacht transporting the lot of the Correlian businessmen they had been deployed to eliminate or otherwise silence. Two separate members of the Sith Order had also been sent to scout the system in search of the quarry, but had thus far failed to produce results. As such, the chaotic duo that was formed with the Sith Master Eisa and Lady Kathreveris would be revealed in full swing. The tech specs that the ISB had procured on the yacht showed a number of hydroponic pods mounted around the ship’s hydraulics system—the massive water tanks used gravity feed to irrigate the ship’s space-grown crops.
...Perfect.
They had easily slipped past the lone guard in the Bamur’s main cargo bay and into the nearly deserted center section. The water tank would mask their thermal signatures, and block any motion sensors. The only risky element entered the picture if the center section stopped spinning - things could get very visceral within the tank, very quickly. But Kathry had ensured the time spent within would not be prolonged. She moved swiftly to set up a tiny microwave relay outside the top hatch. She propped her data pad on her stomach and linked to the ship’s network.
"I’m in, there’s no control operator or serious encryption... accessing their system now."
She tapped the pad a few more times and activated the intrusion software - the best the Empire could provide. A moment later the pad pulsed to indicate success. The tank reverberated as the Bamur’s engines flared to life. The water tilted as they accelerated away from the orbital docking station. Kathry's eyes widened momentarily in wonder of the unknown, but she composed herself rather quickly and returned to her slicing. She really did have to thank their Imperial allies when she returned, she had taken a quick grasp of this basic coding, and the challenge was incredibly amusing.
"Seems they have separate destinations, but a company vessel was the preferred form of navigation. We have ten hours. More than enough time to take them all. How would you prefer to do this?"
