Sarko; a world in need. It's streets are filled with people without food or water. Many go hungry and die. This planet is a cumulation of the harm done by the Imperium.

They flee to Sarko in hopes of sanctuary, but are met with death and poverty. Overpopulation makes it hard for anyone to live comfortably, let alone move about. This leads to terrible crime committed by the scum of the planet, but there are still those worthy of help. As if the horrors of the planet were not enough for these people to bare, they face a far much worse fate.

Slavers are all too familiar with the refugees on Sarko. The Slave lords have begun traveling from all around to reap the benefits of so many potential slaves on the planet. One slave ring in particular has amounted to far greater abdication rates than the others; owned by Raksus Pardell.

The Zygerrian is all too fond of slavery. While his species are renowned slavers, he refuses to work with them. He has his own crew of many a species willing to aid in his dirty cause. Raksus had two hundred men under his guidance in the slave game. He splits his crew between his two slave ships, the Possessor and the Fast Credit. Together these two ships land in the deserts of Sarko. The crews unload and speed into the dense cities where they snatch up refugees in the dead of night.

This troubling matter has caught the attention of the remnants of the Jedi Order. The Jedi Council has tasked four of it's members to investigate the matter. At the missions lead is Jedi Knight, Jade Evoyn. She has offered her ship the Oracle for the mission.

The ship would hardly be considered misdial ready with it's damaged parts and wounded jedi from the Lamaredd Outpost. Unfortunately it was the best that the jedi had in terms of stopping the rumored slavers on Sarko.

One of the three padawans on the mission was Denal Vering hated these long trips through space. Being trapped on a ship for long periods of time was not his ideal situation. The padawan prefers to be among living things like plants and animals. For now it was just the jedi on board and himself.

Padawan Vering was always eager at a chance to show the Jedi Order what he was capable of. Missions such as this were a good opportunity for him to show his worth. So, when he was asked to join the effort, Denal could not turn it down.

Restless, he sat aboard the Oracle as they traveled towards the overpopulated world. He looked about the common area. There were a couple of wounded jedi in there that the man had pitied.

It was unsettling. As a medical droid scuttled past him, Denal stopped them asking both it and Jade the same question.. "Is there no room for them in the medical bay? This is hardly the place for wounded to be lying about." It was a genuine question, as the Zabrak felt proper care should be given. He hated seeing those that he couldn't help. This was one of the reasons that he and his master focused more on the training in force abilities, so that someday he may be able to help the sick and injured. Little did he know how much worse Sarko would be...

Jedi Padawan Exarus Cade stood restlessly aboard the Oracle, watching medical droids tend to wounded Jedi from the outpost on Lamaredd. Denal, obviously as uncomfortable as he was, said aloud exactly what he himself had been thinking moments ago.

"Is there no room for them in the medical bay? This is hardly the place for wounded to be lying about."

It wasn't the sight of blood or even the cries of pain that made him weary. It was the waiting around. The excitement of doing his first mission with the Jedi Order ate away at him. Plus, every minute further they stayed these Jedi lacked proper medical attention.

Exarus turned his attention to the pilot,
"What's our ETA? Some fresh air would be great right about now."

Maybe he was being impatient, and maybe he should be more fortunate he's not among the wounded, but at the moment, whatever waited them on Sarko seemed infinitely better than this damn ship.

Little did he know.

"This room should be good enough." Anthoni said trying to find somewhere he could be alone and meditate. The room Anthoni found was small, dark and quiet. Having seen all of the other Jedi and not wanting to think about the screams and cries for help. Anthoni sat down in the dark, trying to find some sort of peace in the silence. The council has given Anthoni a mission along with three other Jedi. They were to investigate a slave trade, The details though Anthoni had no idea, The Knight in charge would most likely fill in the gaps.

Anthoni was familiar with Slavers, Darvo and him would sell supplies and weapons to them. They could be easy to manipulate because all they ever wanted was credits. Not caring about the suffering they were causing others. There was a time when Anthoni didn't care either, There Was a time, But that time was over. The Jedi have shown Anthoni the way, he would probably always be alone but he would always have the Jedi. "Ahh whatever the mission is all that matters." Anthoni said out loud, then making himself focus He began meditating, thinking that this mission would be over soon enough.

Anthoni could not of been more wrong.

Previously on the Oracle
"We are under attack, all younglings report to the rec room or the medbay, all padawans and knights should disperse themselves around the ship and prepare to be boarded. Again, we are under attack, all younglings report to the rec room and the medbay, all padawans and knights should disperse themselves around the ship and prepare to be boarded. Padawans Rosh, Rayder, and Shan report to the cargo hold to assist me."

The sound of her voice over the intercom still seemed to echo the halls of the Oracle even days later as padawans, knights, and an assortment of medical droids moved about the ship's primary lounge area attending to the few padawans and knights that had been wounded during the assault on the ship by the trandoshan slavers. The major injuries had all been tended to and the majority of minor cuts and scrapes had already been healed by those proficient in the art of Curato Salva and enhanced Force healing techniques through both meditation and more advanced abilities. As padawans and knights moved about to tend to those wounded, Jade sat in the center of the room leading a small group of young padawans and older younglings in meditation. While she was also proficient in other healing techniques, those who were wounded were already being attended to while she focused on aiding the entire room through the Force. Easing the pain of others, sharpening the minds and enhancing the awareness of those who were aiding the sick, as well as leading the novice healers around her in aiding the group as a whole. Knight Evoyn was more in tune with herself and the Force in this moment then she tended to be capable of achieving.

Calm, nurturing, peaceful, and healing emotions chilled the air of the lounge as she meditated, her mind and senses melding with those of the younger healers-in-training as she guided them and focused their minds alongside her own. Or so she was trying to do so, having her senses mixed up with the younger Jedis' was causing it to be much more difficult to focus then when she was working alongside older and more experienced students. Multiple times one of the younglings were distracted and she had to pull thier mind back into the meditation and continue from there, while others would fall too deep into the meditation and forget about the purpose behind which they were sitting in the middle of the room to begin with. To which she would pull them back and redirect their focus to the healers and the wounded. Her mind's eye was brought to the attention of a voice asking her a question, causing her nose to twitch as she ignored older Zabrak's question.

Jade began to lose focus as some of the younglings drifted again, as she went to pull them back in she was distracted by a second voice asking her something, and the meditation was broken. The burden of focusing multiple minds and being distracted by the questions and comments of observers was too much for the Jedi Knight to remain focused. Pulling a hand up to the bridge of her nose to fight back the minor headache that was developing from working with multiple untrained minds. Turning her attention back to the younglings and padawans she had been trained she spoke in gentle words, much like a mother would. "That is enough for today, we will hold another session when these padawans and myself finished our mission. You have all done well today but I still want you to continue with your meditations, perhaps visit some of your friends in the medbay and attempt to put your skills to the test in aiding in their recovery, you would honor me by helping them." As the younglings and padawans moved to leave the room and whispered amongst themselves as they went about their business, Jade turned her attention to the two older padawans who she had been assigned to lead on a mission to the poverty stricken world of Sarko.

Facing the direction of Padawan Cade as she pulled her C1 personal comlink from her belt and spoke to RX, the ship's pilot droid. "RX, when shall we be arriving?" Almost as if it was an answer from the Force itself, the Oracle came out of hyperspace. She couldn't help but smile at the irony of the situation but she held her composure as she spoke again. "Nevermind RX, leaving hyperspace was answer enough." Returning her comlink to her belt the blind Pantoran turned her attention to the older Zabrak who had asked the first question. "The medbay is currently filled with lessor wounded younglings and their friends who have set up a blockade and refuse to let anyone be moved." Jade said this with a smile as she was obviously joking, there wasn't a mutiny underway in the medbay. "I don't mind though since no one actually needs surgery or intensive care. Most injuries were caused by the initial attack on the ship rather than wounds from battle. And it warms my heart to see so many younglings show such protective instincts toward thier fellow Jedi." She paused to consider what this would mean for the next generation of padawans, but she found no issue with the possibilities she could think of.

Casting her empty gaze around the room for a few seconds, Jade held up a hand and beckoned both Padawan Verling and Padawan Cade to follow her as she stood to leave the room. It would be better to leave the wounded to heal and discuss their mission in private. At that thought, Jade realized Padawan Anthoni wasn't in the room with them, extending her sight to include the entirety of the ship, Jade located the young man and reached out with her mind. "We need to discuss Sarko, your meditations can wait." She spoke telepathically, projecting the words into his mind with gentleness that would just ease their way past his meditative focus and draw him out. Once she and the two padawans were out of the lounge area, she began walking off in the direction of the Oracle's kitchen. Hopefully Anthoni would find his way to the trio before they made it there and they could all eat a quick meal and run through everything they knew of their mission as RX landed the ship and before they left to stop whatever menace the people of Sarko were facing.

Anthoni was in deep meditation once he heard Jade speak to him "We need to discuss Sarko, your meditations can wait." Anthoni thought about how the mission would fair. Four Jedi should be more than enough to handle some slaver's he thought. Rising to his feet Anthoni dusted off his Jedi Robes then walked out of the room he was in. Finding a nearby Youngling Anthoni asked him "Have you seen Jedi Knight Jade Evoyn and the other two Padawans? "Yes I saw them make there way to the Kitchen just moments ago."Thank you" Anthoni told the youngling then made his way to the kitchen.

Somehow Anthoni made it to the kitchen before the others. The kitchen was simple with a long white oval table and spinning black chairs. Taking a seat Anthoni saw there was some fruit on the table, taking one he began to eat it. Anthoni sat alone for a couple miniutes. Then finishing his fruit he tossed it into the nearby waste bin. Picking up another he started to work it down when Jade and two Padawans came into the room. Standing up Anthoni said to them "Hello everyone" Then speaking to Jade "I am sorry but I saw the fruit and couldn't help myself, I hope you don't mind." Then he sat back down waiting for the briefing.

Upon looking at Jade's face, he realized he had interrupted her work with the younglings and their meditation. For this, he certainly would apologize, but he would wait this time rather than interrupting once more. Interruptions were hardly in Denal's character. He was known for his respect and honor.

Waiting until Knight Evoyn had dismissed the younglings, the Zabrak leaned forward in the bench seat, resting his elbows on his knees. His fingers touched together ever so lightly. Padawan Vering could sense the woman's distress. She certainly had reason to. All of these jedi on board and it seemed most needed constant looking after.

He looked about the metal walls as Jade spoke on her comm link. Padawan Cade caught his eye for a moment and Denal gave a small respectful nod before feeling the ship exit hyperspace. It was then that the knight addressed his remark with a joke. Padawan Vering gave a smile and a polite dip of the head to her before speaking.

"Of course, Master Evoyn...my apologies as well for the interruption. It's good to hear your injured are in such good health then. You seem to run a fine ship. I meant no disrespect with my remark." he explained. A short moment later, she motioned for the the two padawans to follow.

Pressing his hands to his knees, the Zabrak rose from his seat. He could assume well enough that it was nearing time for their departure. After all, they weren't just on the ship to sit around doing nothing. Denal's mindset towards the task at hand was a determined one. There was little that he would shy away from. In fact, anticipation would be a better word to describe his feelings.

Crossing his robed arms, padawan Vering followed Jade through the ship where he figure they would begin some sort of tactical discussion.

Cade, coming to the realization that his question to the pilot had interrupted the Knight Evoyn's meditation, was instantly embarrassed. He decided that in the future he would be more mindful of such things.

As the Jedi Knight contacted the droid piloting the ship via comlink, he felt the ship come out of hyperspace. He grinned at the woman and discreetly sighed a sigh of relief. His arms, which had up until that point been folded, then relaxed beside him. His back, having been leaned up against the wall straightened, and he stretched. As Denal and the Evoyn discussed the medbay and the wounded, Cade took in the two.

Denal was tall -- much taller than Cade, he had to be well over 6 feet tall -- and bulky. He had a kind look in his eyes and seemed to be likable enough.

Knight Evoyn was the shortest of the group. He had never really met a Pantoran before and was stunned by her beauty. She didn't look a day over 18, however. But there was a certain glow to her. She was evidently gifted by the force, it was no wonder why she was granted the honor of Knighthood.

When he saw Denal get up to follow Knight Evoyn, Cade shook his head, releasing himself from his thoughts and following suit. When the three left the lounge, the anticipation that had earlier ate away at his patience returned, and he again couldn't wait to get off this ship.

As they entered the kitchen, Exarus took note of a human male eating an apple. The man was obviously a Padawan, young but not too much younger than him. He wondered if this was the third Padawan that was assigned to Sarko.

Exarus, slightly irritated by the man's unintended obnoxiousness, looked to Knight Evoyn.

Listening to the words of the Zabraki padawan, Jade gave a respectful nod, smiling as she did. "No need to apologize, it is my own fault for not providing you both ample tasks to keep you from becoming bored, I assure you this lack of foresight on my part will not be repeated." The Pantoran's grin betrayed her attempt at sounding authoritative, the idea of having both padawans performing miscellaneous chores for the sake of curbing boredom was just to funny not to crack a smile half way through speaking. It's not as if she was serious either, if anything she guessed she'd just have them join the meditation next time around.

As the three of them entered the kitchen they were greeted by the third padawan before he addressed Jade specifically. She lead the other two padawans to the kitchen counter where the human stood, holding his half eaten apple, before motioning for them to sit. "Thats quite alright, my ship has been filled to the brim with much of the supplies from the recently abandoned Lamaredd outpost, take all you need." Jade cast a glance to all three of the padawans in turn before she turned and began rummaging around in the cabinets in the kitchen, placing plates, utensils, wine, and a dozen or so ingredients on the counter as she spoke. "As you all know we've come to Sarko with the mission to investigate the disappearances of many of the locals. Intelligence suggests slavers are the cause but such criminals are naturally difficult to track down." As she spoke, Jade chopped up various types of tomatoes, peppers, an onion, and a couple garlic cloves. Placing it all in a large bowl alongside some fresh spinach leaves, Jade began to add various spices and herbs, along with a few oils and a generous portion of the white wine before tossing the salad and serving it on the four plates she had put down earlier, poring each of them a small glass of white wine to accompany the meal.

Without out telling the padawans they could eat Jade continued speaking, stopping every now and then to take a bite of the salad she had made. "Due to the difficulties in locating these type of criminals I think it would be wise for us to seek the aid of the locals. This may sound odd but the person I intend to seek aid from is the leader of a local gambling ring in the village we are going to be landing in. Her men are the closest thing to a security force these people have, if anyone will know about these disappearances, she will. Her name is Clair Sehane, or as the locals seem to call her, Madame St. Clair." She paused to take a short drink of her glass of white wine before continuing. However before we do seek this woman's aid I want to be clear on the fact that she is a criminal and should not be trusted, and she'll probably want something in return, perhaps a favor of some kind. It dosen't matter, I want to hear your thoughts on the matter before we proceed and you three need to eat up, we might be on the ground for awhile and it's better to have real food in your belly then those field rations." Jade continued eating, waiting for the padawans to voice their opinions or ask questions. This was not going to be a simple mission, and she wanted to make sure they were prepared for it, both physically and mentally, there was a good chance whatever they ended up discovering, it wasn't going to be pretty.

Taking a liking to the Knight was quick and easy. Her friendly response had distinguished any doubts he had in her personality. It was evident by her face to see that she was not a stern by the holobooks type of Jedi. Her true test of leadership would come soon. Denal hoped she has what it takes.

Padawan Vering's thoughts on Jade left his mind when the trio reached the kitchen. A Jedi was eating some fruit who was quickly revealed to be the fourth member of their task force. His greeting was short and his attention quickly turned to their Jedi superior. So, rather than derail his conversation, the Zabrak dipped his head. Denal then took Jade's response to Anthoni as an invitation for all of them to eat.

Walking over to a cupboard, he began looking over the fruit also. Still looking into the cupboard, Denal commented on Lamaredd. "It's a shame the Jedi were forced to evacuate. Lamaredd was a beautiful planet." Picking up several fruits the Padawan looked them over. They were fresh, and looked delicious. Not wasting time on silverware or plates, he picked his three favorites and grabbed a seat.

Knight Evoyn was making herself a rather tedious salad. It was much more work than the Zabrak was willing to do for his own food. Taking the first sweet bite of Lamaredd fruit, a discussion of the mission began. The Pantoran explained her thoughts on the matter. Denal looked around at Cade and Anthoni. Pausing from his breakfast, he pondered on the plans the woman had. "I agree, it will be hard to track slavers if that is the case. Resorting to crimals for aid is not an idea to be used lightly. We do not have many options though and if we meet your contact, I think disguise is imperative. There will be endless refugees willing to sell out a few Jedi for a hefty reward. I do think we should proceed with your plan."

Salad done, the Jedi sat down at the table. Eyeing it, the hard work showed. As his own meal was half gone, the slender man though he may grab some more on their way out if they were not to be back for a while. He began to savor each juicy bite thinking that it may be a time before he enjoyed such quality food.

Cade ate the fruit simply because he understood the necessities of a nutricious.. what time was it? It didn't matter. He would need to be well fed for Sarko. He wasn't really hungry, but that didn't stop him.

He sat there, listening thoughtfully while Evoyn and Denal spoke.

Anthoni was sitting down eating another apple and watching the others in silence. He had a relaxed posture, a little slouched and indiffernt to the seriousness of the mission at hand. Jade Evoyn was preparing foos for the rest of the group including herself. Cade was sitting down eating his food same as Anthoni while Denal was trying to decide what he wanted to snack on. While the Zebrak was deciding what to eat he commeted on Lammaredd. "It's a shame the Jedi were forced to evacuate. Lamaredd was a beautiful planet."

Anthoni could not help but laugh, then as the other's looked at him he spoke to the Zebrak. "Ya may be a beautiful planet, but ask all of those people what they think of Lamaredd." He may of said it a little harsh, but he did not care. Some of the wounded probably thought that planet was beautiful, until they had to be carried out of the place. Then Jade put down a plate of food in front of him and he looked at it. Not a single ounce of meat, he then looked at the Jedi Knight. Vegetarian huh? Anthoni thought to himself. The dish smelled great though and he was willing to give it a bite or two...or three or four. Soon after he started it was gone, practically inhaled the thing. Damn good cook you are he said to himself.

The the Knight spoke about the mission. Clair." Anthoni listened to her every word as he was trying to eat the little bits of food left on the plate. Then she continued again.

"However before we do seek this woman's aid I want to be clear on the fact that she is a criminal and should not be trusted, and she'll probably want something in return, perhaps a favor of some kind. It dosen't matter, I want to hear your thoughts on the matter before we proceed and you three need to eat up, we might be on the ground for awhile and it's better to have real food in your belly then those field rations." Anthoni smiled at her when she told them to eat up, his plate was already gone. He heard something about her say not to trust the woman and he simply nodded his head, of course. That being said though he knew Jade was probably right.

If their was one thing Anthoni knew it was how to make a deal. His days with his, what some would say Adopted dad, where full of adventure. I guess that's the life that comes with being a smuggler and he has had his fair share of run ins with slaver's. On both side's of that spectrum. Hey, you need to survive some how, and Anthoni did alot of things he regretted, that being one of them. He listened when the Zebrak spoke up laying out his thoughts on the matter.

"I agree, it will be hard to track slavers if that is the case. Resorting to crimals for aid is not an idea to be used lightly. We do not have many options though and if we meet your contact, I think disguise is imperative. There will be endless refugees willing to sell out a few Jedi for a hefty reward. I do think we should proceed with your plan." Anthoni nodded his head as the man spoke and when he was done it was Anthoni's turn.

He spoke loud enough for others to hear and wiped his oily fingers and mouth as he spoke. "So is what your saying we go down there, find this Madame St. Clair. Ask her about the slavers find them and kill them. Sounds easy enough to me. Oh and just reassuring your point here Jade, but i have no doubt she will ask something in return. Her type always do." He then stoped for a little while then added. "I may of had enough but if anyone doesn't want there..uh whatever that is, food. I'll take it." He said with a smile.

While Jade sat eating the meal she had prepared for them, she remained aware of the padawans as the moved about the Oracle's kitchen and ate as they pleased. She was glad to see Jedi with such healthy appetites, although she noticed the Zabraki male, Denal if she remembered correctly, decide on some fruit while the others seemed content with their own fruits as well. Her attention was first brought to Denal again as he remarked on the tragedy that was losing the outpost on Lameredd. The Pantoran Knight was just about to agree with him when the human, named Anthoni, spoke up on the topic as well. What Jade Evoyn heard next caused blood to rush to her face, turning her cheeks a deep violet color. Something she hadn't experienced in years, embarrassment, anger, shock? No it was definitely a mixture of the later two.

The glass of wine she had been drinking suddenly burst in her hand, splattering glass all across her salad, wine running down the side of the counter island. Part of her robe was stained by the wine as well, although it would be the easiest problem to fix. Turning to Denal, as she raised her right hand up a little, to keep the blood from the glass cuts making a mess all over the counter-top. "I agree, it was a shame to leave such a beautiful planet, but we couldn't take the risk and potentially lose the lives of so many Jedi." Despite the momentary lapse in self-control, as well as the blood and blushed expression on her face, Jade was able to speak calmly at first.

Turning to face Anthoni however, she spoke heavily, as if to make sure he knew just how deeply his words had hurt her. "I'm honestly not even sure what to say to you padawan. I like to think of myself as kind and fair, but that's-that's just unacceptable. Those Jedi were injured during the evacuation of Lamaredd when this ship was attacked and boarded by Trandoshan slavers seeking to capture and sell your fellow Jedi brothers and sisters into slavery. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to wash my hands." Jade, still holding her right hand in the air, turned on her heel and stepped up to the sink so she could wash the blood and glass away. She knew he had meant no offense by what he had said, but his words hurt more than any of them could realize. It had been her job to get them off of Lamaredd safely, and even though no one had died or been captured by the slavers, the ship had still be bordered, and thus she had failed in her duties and Jedi had been hurt because of it.

While the three of them continued eating, Jade continued to listen to them discuss the mission as well. Once the blood and glass had been cleared it was obvious that her hand would be fine, hands just bled a lot when cut, and she was fairly certain that it'd be healed completely if she spent a good ten or fifteen minutes healing the minor flesh wounds. Her robe was another matter however and Jade knew she'd have to get a droid to clean it the next time she had the chance. Before returning to the counter table, Jade poured herself a glass of water, to help clean her teeth of the smaller salad bits. "I agree as well Denal, and Anthoni while I am glad to hear you are confident in the mission's success I urge you all to stay vigilant, this is not just a world of poverty stricken refugees but criminals as well, we are here after all seeking potential slavers." Jade had a hard time holding a grudge, especially against those whom meant no harm in their words or actions. To further this point, she nodded to Anthoni when he asked if he could have more of the salad, although she picked up her own plate, which had glass and wine mixed into the salad, and placed it in the sink behind her.

It would seem they were all in agreement however, but Jade turned her attention to the older padawan, Exarus Cade. "Before we go I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. We'll be working alongside criminals, while I may be your superior in rank you are older than me, I'd like to know what you think of the plan, I want us all to be in agreement before we set out." Jade leaned forward, anticipating the older Jedi's response. While they were sitting and discussing the mission, Jade figured this would be as best a time as any to go ahead and begin healing her hand. The pale blue glow the emanated from her hands as she clasped them together, almost in prayer, caused a cold tingling sensation to travel up her forearms and into her elbows. Jade could already feel the Force weaving her skin back together.

Cade nodded. He wasn't sure how he felt about being 'older.'. But said aloud what he thought.
"I believe this plan to be the best course of action. What better way to find criminals than to work with them?"

He stood from his chair, stretching a moment before looking to the others.
"Now let's get off this damn ship, shall we?"

It's odd. The comment that Anthoni made had ruffled a few feathers and not only Denal's. While the snide comment seemed to be spoken to him about his mere mention of the outpost Padawan Vering had lived on, it was Knight Evoyn who took it on a personal level. It was understandable. Clearly she had been part of the tragedy that befell those on board. Who's place was it to say otherwise?

Jade's now injured hand and reprimand were certainly enough for the youngest of the group. Denal, rather than join in, merely narrowed his brow. Things were not off to a good start for this team. That would need to change, and fast.

Quietly waiting was Exarus. Denal respected that about him. He also was one to appreciate the silence of the world around him. After the incident, it seemed that it was time to go. The Zabrak set his over cloak on the back of his seat and grabbed a knife from the table. He began cutting and tattering his clothing. If they were to disguise themselves, what better than refugees?

From his cream colored upper clothing, he fashioned himself wrist wraps with plenty of shirt still on him. Cutting some holes in his brown pants and cloak, the Jedi was starting to look the part. The last thing he did was tear off enough clothing to make a single colored bandana. After all, a planet full of refugees is bound to be full of sickness. Denal stood fully dressed in his newfound attire. "Thought we could at least look convincing." he said plainly as he looked about at the others.

Anthoni heard the glass burst in the Jedi Knights hands. He looked up to see her holding her wound, then he prepared himself for what he knew was about to come. "I'm honestly not even sure what to say to you padawan. I like to think of myself as kind and fair, but thats-thats just unacceptable. Those Jedi were injured during the evacuation of Lamaredd when this ship was attacked and boarded by Trandoshan slavers seeking to capture and sell your fellow Jedi brothers and sisters into slavery. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to wash my hands."

It was obvious that Anthoni's words hurt the Jedi Knight, even though that was not his Intention. Anthoni said things, Somtimes they where best left ignored. That being said something about how she addressed him made him mad. He would mask his sudden rush of emotion so the others could not detect his slight anger. What Brothers or sisters do i have? I don't know any of those people out there so don't put that on me. You like to be Kind and Fair, that's okay but don't cry about it when others are not the same way.

Of course Anthoni did not say those things, that would of been mean. What Anthoni did say to her was more kind. "You mistake me, Slavers did this you say? Okay good thing we are going to find and kill a few. That might bring some comfort to our wounded and most definitely the people of Sarko." I was kind of ironic to Anthoni simply because when he was traveling with Darvo he had done some pretty shady things, Slavery was one thing he regretted but it happened all the same. Anthoni thought it best to keep that to himself and when Jade told them the world was full of criminals Anthoni smirked a little, he would fit right in.

When he looked over he saw a padawan tearing up his Jedi robes, saying they all should do the same to look like refugees. This was Anthoni's favorite robe and he did not feel like tearing it up to pieces. So he did not follow the other padawans lead. Anthoni was keenly aware that the other's in the group may not like him and he accepted that. Actually he welcomed it, He would be lying if he said he cared for any of these people so it did not bother him if he was the outcast.

Why don't we just act like we are going to sell a few people, maybe raggedy man across the table. Meet the slavers then kill them all. That was Anthoni's plan but he would not tell the group he only waited for instructions.

As she stood there listening to Cade's reply Jade realized that he was a Jedi of few words, as well as the fact that her hand had completely healed. The pantoran dropped her hands to her waist as she smiled and nodded at the human's enthusiasm for their task. It was indeed time to begin the mission and she was just about to finish the briefing when her attention was drawn to the zabraki male and the sound of cloth being torn. As they all watched him finish altering his attire, Jade grinned and shook her head. "Smart thinking, actually I was hoping we could split up for the time being and blending in to the locals will serve you well. Myself and padawan Anthoni will be meeting with Madame St. Clair while you and padawan Cade take a look around town. Once we make it to the Madame's cashino I want you two to stay close and get a feel for the people of the town, are they frightened, going about their business, or anything else that can give us an idea of what might be going on in the area." Jade wasn't planning on hiding her presence as the Jedi had been contacted to solve this mystery, so she wasn't about to ruin the fine silk robe she was wearing.

Jade couldn't help but listen to Anthoni's reply however, she let her face go blank as angering the padawan further would do little just as allowing herself to wind up would betray her training. His willingness, no, his enthusiasm at the prospect of killing worried her deeply. He spoke so confidently it was almost inspiring, but Jade's sense of kindness won out. They weren't here to kill or punish but to save the lives of those who have gone missing. Jade knew she'd have to respond to him though, although the thought of her fellow Jedi rejoicing at the news of death, whatever the reason it was necessitated, made her hesitate. She stood dumbfounded before the a thought occurred to her. This must be what my master felt years ago. Jade didn't know weather to laugh or cry, instead she promised herself she would do everything she could to keep Anthoni from tripping over the same step she had once stumbled. Smiling, she cast her hollow gaze to the human padawan. "You know Anthoni, as much as it may annoy us both, I think we are more alike than either of us know. However, I hope we are able to conclude our goals without violence." With that out of the way, Jade leaned into the counter before grabbing the back of her neck and straining the muscles, cracking her neck in the process as the accumulated tension released.

Standing once more and picking up the plates they had been eating from and placing them into the sink behind her, Jade placed a C1 personal comlink in place of where each of the plates had been. She then pulled out her own comlink and held if alof. "These are how we will be communicating, should any of us fail to be able to contact each other, feel free to reach out telepathically. My mind will be open to yours' throughout the mission, if you need something or if you find yourself in danger let the Force guide your path and we will surely cross paths." With that, Jade tuned to Anthoni once more and smiled, it was finally time to begin their mission. The Knight led the three padawans to the Oracle's exit and swiftly left the ship once the landing platform had lowered. The starport smelled of rust and rot but it had a lot of people and droids rushing about, although Jade did spot a few children of various species rummaging around in the trash piles or sitting inside overturned crates. They must have been orphans by the look of them. Jade's newly budding motherly instincts made her heart drop at the sight of them, she couldn't help but want to reach out and comfort the children.

Taking a moment to clear her mind and set her priorities straight, Jade turned to the padawans behind her. "Padawans Cade and Denal, the casino is a few streets down from here, once we are out of here and in the city we should split up. I'll be relying on you to watch my back Anthoni, if this Madame St. Clair tries anything while we are speaking with her we'll need to warn each other, have you any skill in telepathy?" It wouldn't really matter since Clair Sehane was the identity of the person who had contacted the Order seeking help in locating the missing people of Sarko, not that the padawans needed to know this. The Madame was still a local crime boss and having three padawans on high alert would only decrease the chances of them being harmed in some way, although Jade did have some issue with lying to them. Still though, rule were rules and she had to follow her orders to the letter, and if something did happen it was highly unlikely anyone would be able to sneak up on them with Jade keeping watch, blind Jedi saw more than anyone ever suspected they could after all.

"Smart thinking, actually I was hoping we could split up for the time being and blending in to the locals will serve you well. Myself and padawan Anthoni will be meeting with Madame St. Clair while you and padawan Cade take a look around town. Once we make it to the Madame's casino I want you two to stay close and get a feel for the people of the town, are they frightened, going about their business, or anything else that can give us an idea of what might be going on in the area." As the Jedi Knight set up the partners and explained each groups task Anthoni just looked at her. Anthoni was a little confused on why Jade chose him to accompany her. It seemed to Anthoni they had gotten off on the wrong foot.

Anthoni did not have a direct problem with Jade Evoyn, but they where two different kinds of people. He was an outcast and always has been, Anthoni liked it like that. He never really had any friends or family and this probably made him tougher and less emotional then most others. His only real family had been the Jedi, simply because they took him in where others wouldn't. This is why he was here with these three strangers, in a weird way these strangers all had a bond of some kind even though Anthoni didn't admit it and never would.

Snapping out of his trance he found he was blankly staring at Jade. Now out of his trance Anthoni took in Jade's features more closely. She was much shorter then Anthoni, with Pale blue skin and solid white eyes. Her hair was silver and long. She was beautiful only a fool would deny that. This was the first Pantoran that Anthoni had ever seen up close and it was only a guess but Jade did not look that much older then Anthoni. Which was a a good indicator to how skilled Jade was with the force, already earning the rank of Jedi Knight. His thoughts where interrupted by her voice as she said to him "You know Anthoni, as much as it may annoy us both, I think we are more alike than either of us know. However, I hope we are able to conclude our goals without violence."

Anthoni only nodded to her in response, In Anthoni honest opionion these slaver's deserved to die. Which was ironic because Anthoni had done things far worse then slavery in his past. The thought of Anthoni's past was quickly eliminated and he still felt the slavers needed to die, like killing them will help Anthoni recoup from his old life before the Jedi. He again was caught blankly staring at the wall when Jade laid down communication devices in front of each the padawans. It was clear for their purpose and Anthoni heard Jade speaking but was not listening to her.

He saw everyone rise and quickly snapped out of his thoughts once again and rushed after them. Once outside of the ship the first thing Anthoni saw where children ransacking a trash can most likely for food. Anthoni watched them for several seconds and made eye contact with a little boy. After a while the boy broke of and ran in the alley behind him, the others followed without hesitation. After seeing those kids Anthoni got very angry, they were no doubt orphans just like Anthoni. His first sight already made Anthoni hate Sarko and question why he was here in the first place.

Anthoni's attention was quickly brought back to Jade and he listened to her as she spoke, but he was still looking at the alley where the kids ran off into. "Padawans Cade and Denal, the casino is a few streets down from here, once we are out of here and in the city we should split up. I'll be relying on you to watch my back Anthoni, if this Madame St. Clair tries anything while we are speaking with her we'll need to warn each other, have you any skill in telepathy?" Anthoni then turned around and spoke telepathically to Jade, as if to prove to her he had skill in the power of telepathy. "You'll be safe with me." Anthoni joked to her with a smile, trying to ease the uneasy feeling he already had about Sarko.

Then Anthoni spoke aloud so the others could hear his next words. "Be careful out there, Already i guarantee this Madame St.Clair know's we are here. People who have eyes can tell secrets, information is money to the poor. Those kids you might of saw moments ago are prime examples, my money is on them running to tell four odd looking strangers just landed. Trust me on this one, and watch your backs." Anthoni then nodded to Jade and watched as the other two padawans walked away. "I'll be right behind you." Anthoni said to Jade, ready to see the mission through.

About ten minutes after the group had split up, Cade and Denal had had plenty of time to get acquainted with the wretched hive of sleaze and poverity that was Sarko. Packed streets filled with beggers, homeless people, drug dealers, prostitutes and other shady looking people, it didn't take training in the force to see that Sarko was a broken world.

The casino was no more than a block away, he could still vaguely sense Jade and Anthoni's presence amidst the confusion and fear of the local populace.

Cade knew little of the leader of this slave ring, but he knew, as he met the eyes of frail women and starving children, that he, like every other member of this operation, would pay for his crimes.
