Ask Far From Home

[Darth Malicia]

Raxus. A planet far from the Sith's new homeworld. Still, tucking some of her cult away on the edge of the Galaxy wasn't a bad idea. Perhaps in the future she'd look into expansion throughout this part of space. It had history with the Sith. But, for now, one building on one planet would do.

The city she'd chosen had... run down areas. With all the expansion she'd been doing lately, the Darth learned these locations were easier to take control of. But, first and foremost was getting a base of operations. What she wanted was a large building with multiple levels and a simple security system her cult could upgrade. She'd sent her men ahead of time to scout for a place with this specifications and they'd found one.

Currently, a gang inhabited the building she wanted and the surrounding area, but that posed little problem. That was why the Darth stood with a few of her cultists on the streets of Raxus, only a few blocks away from the location. She was in her Cadre armor with the hood down for now, her lightsabers on her belt and her focus extended to the area around her. She expected a fellow Sith to arrive soon to help with the takeover. It didn't hurt to expand her connections in the order, and the man's name had some reputation behind it.

[Jerex Dorn]

Jerex Dorn arrived at the planet just recently, being called to duty by none other than Darth Malicia, of course, it was not the first time an important member of the Sith requested his aid but it was always exciting, they usually only personally took part of greater things that would benefit the order after all. In this case, the task they had at hand would help them establish a cult on Raxus, which of course the old sith thought was a great idea, such a beautiful planet deserved to be more connected to the true side of the force!

So, Jerex approached the Sith Lord, wearing his usual robe and mask that he used whenever acting openly as a sith, and of course taking the alias of Tyrus Ren while masked, not really wanting his true identity to be directly linked to his actions as a sith, for it could potentially make his research a much more difficult task. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance my lord, I am Tyrus Ren" the old Sith bowed as he talked, his voice unnaturally low because of the voice modulator in his mask, but the tone strangely joyful "Let's turn this place of crime into a comfy home for our people, shall we?"

[Darth Malicia]

Demolly smiled at the man's greeting. "Yes, lets," she started, planning on adding more but a voice rang behind her and cut her off. She turned, seeing one of her cultists running towards her. He screamed "Mother!", and he too was about to say something else before he was laying flat on the ground, the sound of a blaster bolt ringing in the air.

The Darth brought one of her lightsabers to her hand immediately, igniting it and deflecting a bolt that came her way. Had the gang somehow gotten wind of her plan, or were they just defending their territory? She didn't have time to think about it, deflecting another bolt that came her way when the assailant peered out from around a corner.

She didn't wait for him to shoot again, moving froward in a flash towards him. He leaned out again as she moved, but she reached out with her freehand and gave into her ever growing, ever present hunger. Tendrils of the Dark Side wrapped around the man, causing him to arc his back unnaturally and scream as they ripped out his life force. Demolly began devouring every morsel of his life, knowing that her apatite wouldn't be quenched by a single man.

But, as she did, two men on top of a nearby building nearby looked over the edge. One aiming a blaster at Demolly, the other aiming at Jerex and firing.

[Jerex Dorn]

Jerex's lightsaber quickly came to his hand as the bolt struck down one of the cultists, the old marauder about to take care of the cultist's killer to instead observe how Darth Malicia took care of it herself, seeing how that man had been dealt with Jerex looked around, being alert for more incoming and not taking long before spotting the two men on top of the building "Time to have some fun then" Jerex muttered quietly to no one in particular but himself, quickly moving towards the building.

Of course, the one aiming at him began shooting and Jerex started deflecting the bolts, moving while doing so. Eventually, Jerex would stop moving, thinking he was close enough for what he wanted to do and started calling to the dark side, the man aiming at him being able to shoot at him three times, the last one being reflected towards his friend who was too focused on Demolly to dodge in time and got hit in the shoulder. After that, with a motion of his free hand, the force pulled Jerex's target towards him, the man fell off the building, hit the cold ground and became one with the force.

If Demolly didn't deal with the other one by the time Jerex took care of his target, he would call to the force once again and do the same thing, taking a moment to concentrate because, while pulling someone with the force was an easy task, the distance meant he required a bit more focus.

"Eager to die, aren't they?" Jerex's lightsaber pierced through the fallen men for good measure before moving towards the building, keeping an eye on his surroundings to make sure no one took them by surprise anymore, they wasted their first shot on a random cultist and were about to pay dearly for that mistake.
