Amur grunted as the Jedi rammed back their faces having now been within touching distance illuminated by the clashing glow of lightsabers. Amur now found herself staring intimately into the Jedi's. She felt her resistance to the rotation and now was locked into a stalemate, one that Amur was preparing to skirt around by relaxing and sidestepping so her committed strength would move her. This was one of the most intense fights she had ever fought against a foe that was forcing her to have to match strength with thought. Amur was one to respect strength and a part of her had respect for the Jedi as a warrior. Did they really need to kill eachother today?

In the invisible sense in this moment as light and dark side collided it would mingle and mix like two colliding bodies in space, maybe this was fleeting moment of combat or perhaps it could have a lasting effect on the two. Possibly being the moment that the spiritual atoms of the two became entangled even. Though in the moment that would remain unknown and unimportant as Amur now realized that they were being fired upon by Inheris' forces. She abandoned any notion of sidestepping and just focused on stepping back and creating distance between her and the Jedi. She was expecting that by doing so she would help her allies get a clear shot. What the Sith didn't expect was for the troopers to also be trying to shoot her. Blaster bolts still following and tracking her movement. A blaster bolt grazing her right side sending a strong burning sensation ripping and tearing through her body. Survival took over and the Scorch Acolyte made a dive for the nearest piece of cover which turned out to be a concrete divider.

The Sith peaked over watching Inheris escape a single thought occupying her mind.

Et tu Inheris?

Resting, gripping her side letting the battle die down and for the burning and retreat of any survivors the Sith finally thought she was going to have a moment of quiet. Until she frantically gripped for her throat feeling a death grip latch onto her and levitate her. Amur's mouth contort open desperately trying to inhale to no avail. The sensation for Amur was incredibly familiar to being gagged. Causing her mind to briefly go down a well of trauma that was only broken by her subsequent landing by the stairs. Amur taking several deep breaths now noticing that the pureblood had decided on her to be his next prey. She also heard the mental voice of the Jedi and the most unusual thing happened. She actual agreed! Stopping would be lovely by now or at least a 20 minute ceasefire. This battle won't achieve anything substantial, they were all fired upon by one person maybe they could just leave. Do something better than this, whatever that might entail.

"For once I agree with the Jedi" Amur said before forcing her wounded body to backpedal up the stairs keeping the pureblood in her vision. Maybe... just... maybe this would be one of the few instances where someone would defy her expectations. That maybe that a darksider would use their brain and just live and let live. She fully expected him to still try to kill her hence to tactical retreat into the train station. Still it would be nice to not be disappointed for once.

Was that hope? The sith thought and asked herself.

Hask kept marching straight for the Acolyte as she retreated up the stairs, trying to get away from him. He heard the Jedi's voice in his head, which was a new experience. But her and the Acolyte's plea fell on deaf ears. His steady pace up the stairs didn't falter. "Jedi, stay out of this! This isn't your fight...unless you'd like a blade through the gut." he warned her coldly. He wouldn't forget about her. Despite having his eyes focused on the wounded Acolyte, his senses were wide open. He didn't have any quarrel with the Jedi in this fight, but if she wanted to intervene he would not hesitate to cut her down.

Normally Hask wasn't nearly as aggressive as this, but these days it didn't take much for him to slip. A slip that was a clear as daylight in his golden eyes that had turned a sickly yellow.

Hask lifted his right hand and released a powerful force push that would send the Acolyte flying all the way up to land on top of the stairs by the station if she didn't find a way to avoid it. "This is between me and the Empire." he continued coldly, barely loud enough for the Jedi to hear. "So that means..." he stopped and turned around, raising his right hand at her. "KARK OFF!" he roared as a force push was sent her way in an attempt to try and push her back.

She was glad to know that the Acolyte agreed with her proposal. What made her less happy though, was the fact that their red-skinned opponent didn't feel like it at all. She previously had the intention of ending the Acolyte's tormenting existence, but with this new contender shaking things up, Sakadi had different plans.

The threat made by the red-skinned man didn't phase her. He looked daunting for sure, but Sakadi was not easily impressed or afraid. She sensed his anger... his hatred and how it almost blinded him. That was something she could use to her advantage. Opening her senses even further, she felt the ripples in the Force as Hask threw a force push in Amur's direction.

As Amur was thrown back by the push, Sakadi channeled the Force herself and pulled slightly at the Acolyte to change her trajectory. Instead of being thrown into the stations wall, she would be pushed inside through the main entrance. With the remainder of the energy she had channeled, Sakadi enhanced her own speed and agility again. It was important to keep moving, especially against an opponent such as the red-skinned man she was facing.

Moving away from her position seemed like the right decision, as seconds later a surging wave of energy slammed into the stairs where she had stood.

Sakadi kept moving until she stood in front of the entrance.

"If you truly want her, come and get her." She conveyed, igniting her lightsaber.

Underneath the armor, the black robes and even the face level skin and scars was someone who was terrified for their life. Amur in a way felt like a small girl facing the wraith of a encroaching hurricane. An old part had surface brimming with hope and desperation. She hoped that he would spare her let her go, she felt powerless and in a way it was familiar feeling for the scorched acolyte. A part of her wanted to beg, wanted to plea and cry, but deep down she knew it would all be pointless.

The pureblood was having none of that sentiment as she could feel the vortex of hate and anger swirling about him, his eyes trying to penetrate straight into her skull. When the pureblood spoke it felt like a part of her had just died all over again. A small jab of pain rippling through her side from her prior wound being stressed by movement. Amur felt resigned that this was where she was going to die. On this planet that she had no right to stand on, for a operation that she didn't support. To be at best forgotten and merge into the dirt or even worse to be marked as just a meaningless statistic in some report that would sit in a archive. This would be the end of the road. It was a fate that now been accepted, though Amur knew one thing. She refused to go out quietly into the night, she was going to make this damned idiot have to fight for it.

She felt the force start to surge and throb it's way towards in a great push sensing the direction it would take her, she decided to go with it than to resist. Being sent tumbling high into the air like a rag doll the Acolyte kept her head and clear and just focus on maneuvering to land her feet as she crashed into the ground, skidding for a few meters back into the train station. Regaining her orientation she saw something that surprised her the Jedi standing her ground and now looked to be almost even defending the Sith. The pureblood had given that woman a out a means to wipe her hands clean and live to fight another day. Live and let acolytes die and all of that. Yet her she was. Once again Amur had expected the Jedi to do the selfish thing, to look after herself. That's what most animals did and for the second time the Jedi proven her wrong.

Now the Jedi knight and scorched acolyte were staring down the eyes of searing hate. A hate that was vastly more powerful than the both of them. The prior battle had taken a toll on the two as well. Desperate measures would be the only measure available to them. As Amur retreated into the crumbling station that had been damaged by orbital bombardment an idea crept into her head. Crazy, dumb had just as much of a chance of killing her as it did in succeeding. Unfortunately no better alternative could enter her brain.

"I got a plan, get him inside and watch out for the ceiling." Amur telepathically communicated to the mute jedi. The
acolyte decided to try and leverage the fact that the pureblood Sith was fully entrenched into his anger.

"You gonna keep barking like some inbred massassi you crippled twat?" The Sith yelled to Hask. She wanted to see that pureblood get angry, get mad, and to get so hot and boiled about he would just lash out like a animal and stop thinking clearly.

The acolyte ignited her lightsaber and set out at the fastest pace she could manage which was now only a brisk jog. The Station had large structural beams and columns holding everything that was still standing. Most of it being composed of concrete and rebar. Heading to the nearest piece she quickly sliced at it with her light saber. The roof softly groaned as more stress was now displaced to the other remaining beams. She was going to bring the roof down on the pureblood.

Hask found himself staring down both the Acolyte and the Knight. A soft growl reverberated from his throat. He watched as the Acolyte ran from him deeper into the blasted out entrance, taunting him. "Have it your way, Jedi." he said softly, then charged right at her. He dragged both lightsabers through the ground, manipulating the force into the sparks flying everywhere. The small sparks erupted into a fireball that launched right at the Jedi's center mass, the sound blending into something akin to a roar from him. It was a simple move to get her engaged, and he didn't bother to keep it on target.

Following up he kept moving, swinging his left blade at her legs while keeping his right blade close to follow up or defend if needed. He channeled the force into his right hand to release a force push that would send the Jedi flying off to the side at this point blank range if she didn't break off. He wanted to finish with her quickly to get to the Acolyte. This was no longer simply over a bounty or their lightsabers. This was personal.

Have it your way Jedi... The words echoed through her mind. He was coming. She was about to engage the strongest Dark side practitioner she had ever met. The darkness of the man's presence hung around her like an ice cold blanket, ready to quench her burning light. This was not a battle she could win. Not alone. But against all the odds, she had an unusual ally in this battle. The Acolyte she had faced just minutes ago, had a plan. All she had to do was play bait and 'watch the ceiling'. She had no choice but to blindly place her trust upon the Acolyte, although she didn't like it one bit. What stopped the dark woman from killing her too? And yet, the Force had given her no such warning. Nothing felt out of place as the telepathic message spoke through her, and that meant something.

Telepathy, the art of communicating via the mind, was her expertise. Ever since she joined the Order, had she actively used the Force technique to the point where she could be considered a master of it already. If the Acolyte tried to deceive her with a telepathy conveyed lie, she would've instantly known. Therefore, she decided to trust the Acolyte. Not that that made the situation at hand any easier.

She was open to the Force, it's energy flowing through her, feeding her information as she slowly moved back a little through the entrance. It was this information, this flow of the Force, that warned her. Building up his energy during his charge attack, the embodiment of rage came right for her, sparks flying everywhere as he rapidly closed the distance.

Sakadi quickly reached out through the Force. Extending her left hand, Sakadi took control of and summoned one of the metal foor plates to her aid. It was large enough for her to take cover behind, as she guided it between her and the incoming attack, taking cover just in time to prevent being burned by the fireball. The heat nearly made her flinch, as her body begged her to stay behind her cover. But she knew that her opponent would make use of this opportunity, no, she had to move. And fast!

The heat still lingered around her fortified position, as Sakadi swiftly recovered again. She had little time to react though, as the man instantly cut through the floor plate she had used as a shield. She barely managed to step back, the tip of the saber nearly cutting through the fingers of her left hand. He certainly kept up the pressure, but he didn't have her pinned down yet. That wouldn't take long though, as he immediately followed up with a point blank wave of telekinetic energy.

Her response was purely instinctive, as she channeled the Force through the palms of her own hands to counter the Force push with one of her own. Nevertheless, he completely overwhelmed her defenses, as his push still knocked her back. In an attempt to reduce the severity of the push, Sakadi brought her saber down into the ground, using the resistance of the blade to not be thrown back too far and keep her balance. She came to a stop approximately 5 meters from where she had stood, immediately bursting into motion again. She had to keep up the pressure, leave no chances or opportunities for him to overwhelm her again if she wanted to survive this duel. The acolyte had to hurry, for she wasn't sure how long she could keep up with the intensity of their duel.

Enhancing her body with the Light side energy she had in her reserves, Sakadi jumped forward with an Ataru en su ma rotation. She couldn't match her opponent in raw strength, but with the Ataru rotation she hoped she could match him. Please hurry... Sakadi thought, as her saber crashed down upon the red-skinned man.

As fire entered the corner of Amur's vision she could see the defense the Jedi nobly put on. Yet it was clear that this couldn't last long. Amur's movement was restricted mainly by the pain trying to sprint would cause she always felt pain but she learned to tolerate and live with the dull throbbing and have fade out into a sensation of white noise. This wound was amplifying everything ten fold. Yet she needed to go faster. Amur shut her eyes envisioning the remaining pillars, she then focus on one feeling that was her most intense experience. Fire burning and melting her skin followed by the sensation of rushing air and then crashing through ice being swallowed by pure cold. The dark had now gathered around her an old friend in a time of need.

She channeled all of that darkside energy into boosting her agility greatly increasing her speed as several columns were now severed by her saber. The building groaned once again being more and more stressed by such a crazy thing. any remaining columns could be seen starting to buckle a bit under the new weight load and small pieces of concrete and dust fell. The roof was so close to collapsing it just needed... one... more... push. The acolyte had to stop her breathing heavy and she ended up spitting out some blood that impacted the inside of her helmet. It was a struggle to stand yet she needed to keep standing. Just... one... more she thought. Her body wanted to collapse but her will demanded to keep going. The bout of force speed had reopened to wounds she sustained from early that her body had just finished clotting. Yet the Sith knew she couldn't give up. She just needed a brief rest to gather up enough energy.

"Hold on... for a bit longer" The Sith telepathed to the Jedi but, it was noticeably weaker this time.

The Jedi put up a valiant effort to defend against him, managing to dodge the fireball as well as his attack, though she was hopelessly outclassed by Hask...they both knew it. She was already wounded, and going head to head with one as powerful as the Pureblood was dangerous.

Nevertheless, she persisted. She came at him with an overhead swing. Hask waited her in, both blades at the ready. When her blow came, Hask moved with a growl. His left blade came up and parried her blow off to the left, while his right blade came up to hit her in the face with his hilt hard enough to break her nose. He would quickly follow up with a kick to her gut to send her stumbling back before engaging further. "What's the matter, Jedi? Loth-cat got your tongue?" he teased her.

Though in his anger, the Pureblood pretty much forgot about the Acolyte at this point. And without even knowing, their fight had moved right under the roof the Acolyte was trying to bring down on him...

Her attack was swiftly intercepted by the Sith pureblood, who directed her swing to his left, her right. With the Force flowing through her, she managed to respond just in time to his follow up attack. She brought her free, left hand to her face to intercept his swing. She used the force behind the supposed hit with his hilt to move back a little, only to gasp for air a second later as a foot rammed into her gut.

She spat out blood as the attack knocked her back a couple of meters again. This time, however, she couldn't keep her balance. Sakadi stumbled as he feet touched the ground again, falling just a second later. Despite her attempt, the Pureblood had done it. He had overwhelmed her defenses as if it was nothing. But she hadn't bought enough time for the Acolyte yet. She had to keep going.

Calling upon the Force, Sakadi took a telekinetic grip of yet another floor plate. Instead of using this floor plate to defend herself as she had done before, she instead launched it straight at the Sith, the floor plate spinning in his direction. She hoped that the attack would give her just the time she needed to recover, as pain jolted through her stomach in her attempt to stand up.

Amur saw the one person responsible for keeping her alive get hammered. Her breathing was heavy still and her muscles were now in a state of stasis not wanting to move. It would be so easy to just stand there and give up, to just accept death and doom the both of them but she couldn't quite explain it something underneath was driving at her. It was both a will to survive and something else that the Sith had no idea how to define it. That prior gut kick seemed to resonate and she wanted it to stop. Everyone had enough she felt.

So continued she did. Amur doing one final jog to a pillar that she haphazardly cut in a unfocused slash but it was enough. More rubble fell and the sounds of crack concrete and snapping metal could be heard. The remains of the celling and the rest of the building starting to fall as a rather giant piece the ceiling start to fall right on top of the Pureblood. The Jedi would find being knocked onto the ground to be a blessing in disguise as due to her natural orientation and needing to look up to see her opponent she would get a direct view and warning of the new environmental hazard. She could evade while the pureblood was preoccupied on trying to eviscerate the Jedi.

Dust would be kicked up into the air briefly shrouding the battlefield. When it settled Amur could only see the mechanical arm from the pureblood jutting out the rubble pile like some sort of Excalibur. Well in that moment she felt the need to pull it out. Limping over to the pile she grabbed onto the arm. The severity of the impact had weakened the arm's connection to the socket making it much easier to remove. Amur still needing to push down with her foot to gain enough combined strength to do it and she nearly fell over doing so.

The sith would sling her new trophy over her shoulder tightening the hand into a fist that held onto her own arm and walked towards the Sephi. In that moment Amur didn't consider the Jedi an enemy but just another warrior that survived the battle. She held out her right hand to her.

"I could use a... hand for moving around..." Amur spoke before she finally let out a strained cry of pain that was long in the making. "Maybe we could find someplace nice... to sit and rest and maybe have that talk." Each word seemed to take so much effort to get out. If the Jedi did accept the Scorched Acolyte would wrap her arm around her shoulder and lean quite a bit of weight onto her. It was clear that she was in no condition to fight much less anything else.

The Knight was down. Her defence broken and her strength failing. He had her now.

She tried to launch a floor plate at him , but Hask raised a hand and brought it to a halt a meter or two from him. With a wicked smile he started to spin it around and was ready to hurl it right back at the Jedi to take her head off...then the rubble falling around them caught his attention.

He looked around a bit until he realized what was happening. The Acolyte was trying to bury them. He tensed up as he got ready to attack her, but the sounds above him broke that focus. He looked up just in time to see the roof coming down on him. In a last ditch effort to try and defend himself he raised his hands and pushed with the force, but it was too late. The debris came down on him and buried him under heaps of rubble. all that stuck out was his mechanical arm that was partially destroyed.

The Acolyte decided to take a trophy and tore it from its socket. But just as they thought it was over and started walking away, a rumbling of debris resounded from where Hask was buried. The rubble shuddered and shook, starting to lift up into the air. Under the rubble was Hask with one arm. raising the rubble over his head with a growl. He dropped the rubble in front of him and tried to get out, but instead he collapsed against the rubble with a grunt. Several cuts and bruises littered his face and body with some blood stains seen on his coat.

He didn't have the strength to go on. So instead he limped off into a different direction, stopping only to look back at them for a second as his golden eyes returned with that familiar warm glow of theirs.

Sakadi watched how her opponent negated her attack with ease. This was it. Was this how she would die? During a battle with a far too strong opponent, working with a Sith Acolyte? As her life flashed before her eyes, Sakadi noticed something unusual. Was the roof... coming down?

Mustering the last bit of her strength, Sakadi rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the large debris that would've otherwise crushed her. Her opponent was less lucky; the rubble and debris buried What her him alive, while she was just laying there, recovering from their short confrontation. A moment later, her unlikely ally showed up. But what she did, made Sakadi frown.

Like a war trophy did the Acolyte pull the metal arm out of its socket, slinging it over her shoulder. What in the universe did she need that thing for? What surprised her even more, was the Acolyte's sudden lack of desire to kill her. Instead, she wanted Sakadi to... help her? Was this day going to get any weirder?

Reluctant at first, Sakadi accepted her outstretched hand. It wasn't easy for her to get up, much less for Amur to pull her up, but she managed to get up nevertheless. Now supporting Amur, the two women limped away from the battlefield. Until the collapsed roof started moving again. It. Started. Moving. Again.

Sakadi slowly turned around, only to see an image she would never forget. The man was lifting the roof up with the Force. If even that wouldn't kill him, what would? She reached for her lightsaber again, despite being in no condition to fight. She shuffled back a bit, fearing that the man would come straight for them. But when he limped off in another direction, she could finally breathe at ease again.

"How in the universe did he survive that?" She asked her masked accomplice, who was just a little too close for her liking.

Amur nearly fell over getting the Jedi up but she was up. They began to walk away from the ordeal. Amur's mind was searching for the right words to use to say. It was such an unusual situation for the Sith to be stuck in but soon the sound of rocks moving and falling had broke her thoughts. The pureblood had lift the boulder with the force and set it aside. What a image. Amur was about to curse the force thinking she had been trapped into some sort of cruel joke or nightmare. But no, the Pureblood walked away and let bygones be bygones.

"I wonder the same thing; however, the last thing I want to do is ask him."

In the moments of dumbfounded pondering that the two were caught in they could feel the soft initial impacts of rainwater. The city had been overcast the entire time especially with all the ash and debris that had been kicked up by artillery strikes. Now a steady patter of rain fell like the planet was singing a mournful melody in memory of all that perished today. The city felt empty, and Amur couldn't shake the feeling she was trespassing on it. If a city is abandoned is it truly free of a soul? Or did the act of thousands if not millions of people imparting their small individual marks and pieces onto it transformed the concrete structures into it's own entity and being? Great now she was getting philosophical and wet.

The Sith pointed to a nearby diner one that likely subsisted off of the traffic from the train station.

"That building still looks intact we could use it for shelter." The Sith told her new frenemy. It was at that point that something that normally would have been obvious the Amur came to light. The Jedi was still wondering when she would attempt to stab her in the back.

"I can tell you don't trust me. I'm not going to fight you, even if I wanted to I can barely stand let alone swing a lightsaber. Truth be told I have enough of fighting on this planet. I didn't want to be here and I wish we never attacked Mandalore." It was rare thing to be speaking the truth without some catch or twist to it but yet she was being honest with the person most Sith trainers would say is the last person you should dare speak to. Amur really didn't care for that divide right now. Jedi, Sith doesn't matter that much when you both nearly die on a battlefield. Maybe later in another battle they can resume the dance of death but right now she couldn't.

Soon their walk would take them to the ruin diner with overturned chairs, cracked glass and scattered things strung about. There was a relatively clean and unoccupied booth That Amur would soon rest in. It now felt like the single most comfortable thing in all of her existence that she has ever sat in. Her body rested and refused to move from her new seat. Her mind was now craving something, not lust or aggression or anything like that, just a stimulating conversation to rack her mind and ease the pain of a battered body.

"Tell me Jedi, what it it that you truly want?"

Sakadi, supporting the Acolyte, guided her inside of the building she had pointed to. When they were inside, however, the Acolyte attempted to start a conversation. While the Knightess wasn't in the mood for it, she still listened to what the woman had to say. Apparently she no longer had the energy to fight her and frankly, neither did Sakadi. But that didn't mean the Sephi saw her as anything less than an opponent. She had given the dark Acolyte a chance to lay down her weapons and talk beforehand, but she had not accepted that offer. Yes, they had been forced to work together twice now, but those were unique situations. They didn't count.

"What I want most? I want to serve and learn from the Living Force. Teach the younger generation of my Order and hopefully create a better galaxy through my guidance." the Acolyte seemed like the type who would try to use her desires against her, but that wasn't going to be easy. After a long pause, the Sephi continued.

"I'm taking you prisoner in name of the Jedi Order. Please do not resist." with moderate difficulty, Sakadi pulled herself up from the booth where the two had their conversation, with the intention to take Amur's weapons.

The Sith listened and couldn't help burst out laughing at the Sephi's response, oh by the force that was so untrue. Really that wasn't what the Sith wanted to hear that was just some dogmatic drivel that likely got forced into every idealistic recruit's head. She even smacked her hand against the surface of the table. The laugh continued for a few more seconds before her body forced her to stop via a sudden onset of chest pain. A few painful coughs and heavy breathing and Amur was able to regain her composure and talk.

"You serious? Dear, I know what lying looks like especially lying to yourself, trust me honor-bound honesty suits you better."

The best part was that the Jedi insisted on trying to take her prisoner that was just rich. I mean the Jedi asked her to not resist and quite frankly she wasn't going to. Mainly because the Scorched Acolyte knew that she wouldn't have to resist, so many problems came up with attempting such a thing, especially when she struggled to just get up from her seat and she wanted to capture Amur? Hilarious!

"I won't resist but I would like to point out the array of small, tiny, glaring holes in that. There's a imperial armada nearby that you would have to sneak past, plus we are deep in Mandalorian space which means that even if you could successfully invade the eyes of the Empire you would also have to deal with the fact that there is going to Mandalorian traffic all over this sector. They won't care about the whole Jedi, Sith thing and would just kill the both of us most likely. Did your ship or means off this planet even survive the attack? And that isn't even factoring the fact that you just struggled to get out of your seat and I can barely walk right now."

The Sith would pause to let the Jedi respond though another thing came to Amur's mind. Which was the fact that it was possible for the Jedi to just throw away everything she said because Sith were cunning masterminds that manipulated and deceive people and not a single word was to be trusted. That would easily be the propaganda at least and it did have some merit but there was a chance that would get in the way of actual reason. Still she thought she might as well say her position on things.

"I'll atleast tell you what I want. I want to be in a position where I can actually make meaningful change. You see this bloodshed, this madness, the fact we are all capable of descending into tribalistic herds that blindly follow. How you'll look at me and not see the person but the robes and merely categorize me as pest. How I'm supposed to look as you as a Jedi cretin to exterminate. It's a deluge of conflict, and while it has it's uses and can be tempered it will likely continue to destroy. I would like to rise and be the one to pull the strings rather than be the puppet. Because that's the people above us merely see us as, same for my leaders and same with yours. We're puppets to be used and I'm tired of being one, especially when the current puppet masters leave so much to be desired and have turned everything into chaos to fulfill their own animalistic cravings. If that answer you gave is what you truly thought though I doubt that then you are merely a sad puppet ready to be thrown away by those you love most."

At first, the Knightess frowned. Was this woman doubting her desires? Was it that strange to her that there were people who wanted to amass wisdom and knowledge of the Force so that she could guide others? She lived for the greater good, to serve the Light Side of the Force and nothing more. She did not crave power or fame and neither did she crave love or affection. She had fame and influence in the past; but both proved to be a menace. She wasn't concerned with power either, for the simple fact that she already had the strength to make a difference. But affection and love? That was different. For her entire life, had she lacked both. Her parents had never loved her and due to her secluded upbringing, she had had no one else. It had resulted in her being devoid of love. She often made up for that lack of affection through physical intimacy, most notably with the nightsister Eithni. But to say that she craved love or affection? No, that wasn't the case.

When the Sith started to talk about her own desires, Sakadi had to suppress a chuckle-like motion. The Acolyte judged her, only to arrive with such hypocrisy? How amusing.

"You call me a puppet, while you are failing to follow your own beliefs? I gave you an option not to fight and yet you felt the apparent need to fight me. Let me guess, because you looked at me and categorized me as a Jedi, your enemy? Or perhaps because your superior was present and you, as a puppet, felt the need to support her?" Sakadi paused as she leaned forward, grabbing the acolyte's lightsaber. She was ready to defend herself, if the acolyte decided to make a move. "Like all Sith, you crave power. Perhaps the power to prevent bloodshed, to become 'the puppet master'. But having the power and influence you desire will only cage you and take your freedom away. Our leaders are no puppet masters. They ARE the puppets." Sakadi took another deep breath. "You and I have the same goal, but our methods are totally different. And as for getting off Mandalore, we'll wait a few days and get off planet disguised as refugees. Just need to take off your mask and we'll slip right through."

The Sith chuckled for a bit she had a point and made sure to had prod back. Amur secretly was reveling in this discussion. She decided against pointing out that she used the phrase "Like all Sith" though she had to twist the knife of mentioning her moment of hypocrisy. Still while it initially stung and festered she decided to think upon it. Though that was part of life, another moment, another failure. Did it completely alter her? No just carry on and move on. The Sephi went to grab her lightsaber and once again Amur decided against resisting, what was the point? Pride piff that would just go nowhere. No let the Sephi think she won and just go along, besides she really at this point just wanted to talk more with this curious specimen.

"Perfection sadly will likely never exist, I can acknowledge that. Today I let myself become overwhelmed by emotion, I wanted to set foot on here to see the gravity of the mistake the Empire just made. I let myself be overcome with sadness, anger and hate. When I saw you I was looking for something to take it out on. You may or may not have noticed as that fight carried I was losing motivation to keep fighting, I knew it was mistake... I kept questioning the point of it. While I can see the nature of things that doesn't mean I'm above the laws of it, we all are victims of our own nature."

The Sith paused once again collecting her thoughts before continuing. "Keep in mind that even if you can see and feel that something your doing is wrong, that your making a mistake that sometimes it doesn't stop you from making it or maybe you find yourself trapped into that mistake, it being the only choice you can take. Maybe you can relate to that now or maybe you'll be thinking about this later. The people up top may be puppets but look at the shop owner that fears a protection racket, the dissident or rebel that fear torture at the hands of interrogators, and the optimist that tries to make their ideals reality only to face backlash and sabotage from the system. Are they truly more free then the people in power that are apparently puppets as well? Either way go ahead unmask me and see for yourself what lies beneath."

"Don't try to justify your own actions. You want to become a leader to prevent massacres such as this and yet you cannot overcome your own nature? Even as a Jedi I know that violence is in the nature of all living beings. If you can't overcome your own nature, you will never achieve your goals." the Knightess exclaimed. This woman was more talkative than she had expected. Well, she would meet her match today, against a mute of all possible contenders.

"As for those examples you have given, all of these people had the freedom that lead them to the consequences or challenges they face. Obstacles and struggles are part of life and neither of us can deny it. But a leader? Someone with power? Those people must be the very image of their own companies, their actions determined by the masses and their opinions easily used against them. If that is a life you wish to have, then know that it lacks the freedom of choice." she stated, as she searched the Acolyte for any hidden weapons, placing them on the table if she found any. When Sakadi completed her search, she narrowed her eyes. The Acolyte almost invited the Sephi to unmask her. See for yourself what lies beneath, she had exclaimed. And that put the Knightess on edge. The Acolyte was wearing the mask for a reason.

Carefully, Sakadi unmasked the Sith. She kept a little distance between them, ready to defend herself from a sudden assault. Her eyes widened as she saw the true face of the woman. Or what was left of her. Her face was ruined and while it repelled Sakadi at first, she quickly found herself pitying the woman instead. She reminded her so much of someone she knew. Herself. Something, a cruel twist of the Force had gravely injured the woman before her. The injury she suffered was a visible one, unlike her own. But nevertheless, it affected her life.

Stretching out her hand, Sakadi caressed the cheek of the acolyte. Her expression warm and gentle, instead of the serious and distant expression she had before. "You have been through a lot, haven't you?"

It seemed like no matter what there was a difference in the perception of where power came from. It seemed like this Jedi was fixated on the concept of power coming from the bottom. "If there was hope, it must lie in the proles..." she likely believe whether unconsciously or even in that exact phrasing. One point she believed that to. That really the Empire was just the collection of a small individuals, that the population where it to rise up in all it's collective strength would crush the Empire and hope would prevail. Yet that never turned out to be the case has it? People like the status quo they are terrified of risk and change even when it's patently obvious a collective organization would result in victory. Sure a darth lord could kill entire swarms of people but throw enough bodies at the problem and he will tire. But that would likely never happen.

Can't this Jedi see that society and order is enslaving everyone. The power exist because people believe in it, fear it, thinks it dominates over their lives. The reality is that it barely interferes that people only act like that they do because they have that belief in it. If people stopped believing in the Sith they would die out quick, but yet they continue to live on. Still something changed in her stubborn demeanor when she finally took off the mask. Normally the Sith only liked having her face revealed unless it could serve some sort of point. What's the point of showing the shame of your sins if you can't get anything from it. It shocked the Sith though to see the Jedi's attitude change before her eyes.

She felt the warmth of her hand touching her cheek. Two mismatched eyes looked back at the Sephi. Her question just stirred a whirl of emotions inside the scorched Acolyte. Her life was on one trajectory and then radically changed for the worse almost over night. Everything she had known before thing was now tainted by the knowledge that it was merely lies and manipulation that the relationship she had thrown herself at desperate for someone to care for her had only been a fabrication to tug at her heart strings. A few tears streamed silently down the Sith eyes. The Sith now thinking to what she had become, did she really ask for any of this? No it was all hoisted onto her and she had to just carry on.

"You ever had to look someone in the eye while they take delight in your pain? Someone who you trusted more then ever? Now only to watch them prepare to throw you away, and set it all aflame. I was tied to a chair, I remember having alcohol poured on me. I saw fire racing it's way towards to me and no way to stop it... and almost no will to either..."

There was very different tone to the Sith's voice as she spoke. Her head starting to droop and look towards the ground. It sounded of defeat. Acknowledging what happened was never easy for her and everytime it got brought it crushed her as all the emotions came charging back. It may of have only been a moment in her life but she felt like she had lived it thousands of times. She didn't care about Jedi or Sith right now. None of it mattered, it all faded away. It was just, her, a Sephi and memories.

The reaction of the Acolyte was as she expected; similar to the reaction she would have given, had anyone ever taken pity on her. Even the question that followed struck home. Perhaps her situation had been a little different, but she knew exactly what if felt like. The only reason her parents, the only people she actually believed she knew during her youth, had invested in her surgeries, was because they saw her as a tool. And when the tool seemed to be permanently broken, they had discarded it. Oh she remembered what that was like.

What had even been worse, was the aftermath. No longer was she the Sakadi Marathi Sinvala, but just a girl without a voice. Without the ability to do anything but sing, something that was taken from her. Begging for help to strangers on streets, only to get stares of disapproval and the occasional "Just work" they threw at her. But how could she? She didn't even know how to dress herself! She remembered how she slowly lost the will to go on. How she lacked the strength to keep on going, as there had been nowhere to sleep and nothing to eat. She had even tried to sell her body in order to survive, but no one had paid any intention to the mute, emaciated girl standing outside in the rain. No, those were days she would never forget.

She empathized with the Acolyte. There stories were different, but she understood. She understood not wanting to go on, no longer wanting to struggle. And yet, they kept on going, both of them. Their paths were different, having brought them to the opposing sides of the Force, but right now that didn't matter. They were just two broken souls, in a broken city.

"I understand better than you might think." she stated, as her hand rested against the Acolyte's face, brushing away one of her tears. "Tell me, what is your name?" she proceeded to ask. While she hadn't forgotten about the alignment of the woman before her, she would let that slide for now.
