King Daytonus, sat lazily on his throne on Ploo IV. Having recently conquered the planet - thereby uniting the system under one ruler - Dusty had quite the number of issues to deal with. From Fluggrian rebels to trade negotiations to rebuilding his army, there was so much to do to keep the newly formed realm intact.

Dusty elected to ignore all of those for the time being and threw a fashion show.

With a system army comprised of Glymphids, Fluggrians, Quermians and numerous offworlders who all clashed with one another, Dusty felt the first step towards unifying these factions would be to put them all in the same uniform. Plus, he liked hanging out supermodels.

To both ends, he had put a call out towards all the wannabe fashionistas and established designers in the galaxy to take their best shot in designing a uniform that reflected Dusty's and the storied history of the Ploo system. And, of course, if all the uniforms looked badass, that was an added bonus.

Dusty sat on his throne, eating grapes and awaiting the first designer to show off their uniform.

OOC: Open to anyone who wants to design a uniform for the Ploo system army. No combat. Winning design gets 100,000 credits.

Hokaan was a slicer by trade and qualified as an apprentice armorer in Clan Veren. He was unsure whether the new King of the Ploo system would like a Mandalorian being the type to design a military uniform. But then again it might be ideal.

Mandalorians and more specifically, Rancor Squadron had managed a presence on Ploo IV as one of the rewards for Hauron Solus's deal with Dusty Daytonus. The Mandalorian Road was made a little bit more secure as a result and a decline in pirate activity in the area.

Hokaan himself had his personal Z-wing refueling at the starport and was taking the time to walk out in the open among civilians. Word of a fashion show had spread to the ranks of the Mandalorian mercenaries so the warrior decided to throw his helmet in the lot, so to speak.

The local defense forces were recieving training from some of Rancor Squadron. Hokaan was one of the Mandalorians assisting with the facilitation of these regimes but for now he was off duty. Regardless of whether or not the slicer won the credits for his designs, he was curious to see what the king's future honor guard would be using.

Stepping forward Hokaan unhooked a holoprojector which displayed an image of the man's designs. "Paint schemes are not an issue to change but it's important to keep in mind what you want your army to prioritize for survivability." His helmet turned to look at the diverse audience present before looking back at King Daytonus. "Head, body, hands and feet are the key points to protect but my designs allow for removable plates and can be modified to fit comfortably for pilots, scouts, etcetera. Primarily made of plastoid, the armor would be more durable than your standard trooper armor. Before you ask, no there is no beskar in these designs. I do know how you can get cortosis though, if that's something your interest in, King Daytonus." Beskar was sacred to his people and while he could respectfully decline incorporating it into armor, Hokaan wanted to come up with an alternative to still hedge his bets.
