Strength: Compared to most men, Felix falls far behind. Due to his practically noble upbringing, he had become quite the weakling. He lacked muscles, endurance, and force when it came to fighting. When he embraced the life of an adventurer, his strength became a lost cause as he focused on his agility and dexterity. 2/10
Dexterity: The Alderaanian's pride is his speed, agility, and reflexes. They are what make him an expert at shooting blasters, flying, and even improves his accuracy. He is not a man one would wish to engage in a blaster duel and is a worthy adversary when waging war in the stars. His fast reflexes and quick thinking give him a keen tactical mind that allows him to react to most situations with relative ease. 9/10
Constitution: The amount of hurt that Felix can take is almost the same as the amount he can put out. Although, he is not drastically underweight and actually has an average amount of muscle mass, Felix can just not endure a lot of pain. Agile and swift, he is simply not a long distance runner. Somehow, with is low endurance and stamina, Felix has mastered the art of retreat. 5/10
Intelligence: Born into a prosperous family on Alderaan, Felix was exposed to an major appreciation of education, arts, architecture, poetry, the performing arts, and diplomacy. He received one of the best educations there is to be offered and made him an extremely gifted student with an expansive knowledge which mainly highlights on the galaxy, starships, weapons, species, and language. Wisdom: Felix could be considered wiser than most, but his wisdom is lacking compared to that of his intelligence. With his vast knowledge, he has become skilled at the ability to make decisions. Charisma: Under the tutoring of his father, Felix excelled in charisma. As a child, he learned the ways of diplomacy and leadership, which would greatly influence him in the future. - Piloting Introduced to lots of travel in his youth due to his fathers diplomatic duties, he would often venture off with his father on such missions. The exploration and travel that came along with it made Felix an adventure seeker, which would develop into a love for starship piloting. As he grew older, his father acknowledged this and enrolled in some personal training with family friends. Felix learned easily, much like at school, and became a skilled pilot.
- Diplomacy/Charm: Growing up on the peaceful, diplomatic world of Alderaan, diplomacy came to Felix naturally. He has the ability to peacefully negotiate with others, bargain, and resolve problems. This ability also gives way to charm, which he uses much like his diplomacy. He can attract, socialize, and persuade better than the average person. This skill also increases his ability to lead.
- Leadership High intelligence, wisdom, and charisma have shaped Felix into a great leader. Many follow and listen to his wisdom and fall under his charismatic spell. He is a natural leader and it is easy for many to see that. Intelligent and quick thinking allows him to lead the men beneath him exceptionally well in battle and his wisdom make him ideal for mentoring.
- Dual Blaster Wielding Extraordinary skilled at blasters, because of his dexterity, Felix has mastered the art of dual blaster wielding. Although, he prefers to stay out of any type of fight that isn't between starfighters, blasters are his ticket out of death in those circumstances. Agility and quick reflexes gave way to a quick trigger finger and amazing accuracy, which Felix maximizes with a second blaster pistol.
- Mechanical Knowledge/Repair Naturally, along with piloting came some level of mechanical prowess. Ascen would often be surrounded by droids used for diplomatic purposes as well as servant droids back home at Alderaan. However, not extremely skilled at engineering, Felix can repair almost any starship or droid.
- Tactics In combination of his leadership, intelligence, and wisdom, Ascen has developed an astute tactical mind. It works best with space combat, however, Felix has shown the ability to possibly command army forces as well. This ability allows him to lead the smallest starfighter squadron to an entire fleet with grand success and limited casualties.

Strengths:
- Piloting/Mechanical: Felix makes up for his weak physical strength with his piloting skill and mechanical knowledge. Quick reflexes, dexterity, and agility allow him great motor skills. Able to fight at the head of an attack and command multiple other starfighters, he has become quite the pilot. His exposure to starships and droids have brought him extreme amounts of knowledge on them and shaped him into an exceptional engineer.
- Charisma/Leadership: Able to negotiate, lead, and charm comes in handy. He can apply each to any situation whether it be in battle or his personal life. An aspiring leader, he has a promising future in the military career ahead of him. His negotiating ability and his knowledge make him an interesting character in the Navy ranks. His charm has made him quite the romancer and have made him known for his personality.
- Agility/Blaster: Although, he likes to avoid confrontations on the ground as much as he can, this is one of his most useful abilities. His agility and dexterity have made him an excellent shot and have given him quick reflexes and an agile mind. His only key to defense, Felix trained heavily with blaster pistols as a teenager on Aldeeran, despite his father's disapproval. Besides, when fights don't go his way, he is a pro at high tailing it out of there.

- Physical Strength: Ascen's number one weakness is his physical weakness. Doomed in fist fights or close ranged fights, his only chance of winning is to utilize his agility. Although, not exactly apparent, because of his average build, Felix is extremely weak. His punches don't pack much, besides coming with ferocious speed and determination. Often, that simply just isn't enough.
- Endurance/Stamina: Just like how Felix can't cause much damage, he can't handle much either. He is easily injured and can barely handle pain, especially if he hadn't so much willpower. His low endurance usually prevents any chance for running long distances or doing anything too strenuous for long periods of time.
- Lack of armor/protection: Because he is a pilot and doesn't expect to get into many scuffles, Ascen is never prepared for battle whilst his two feet are on the ground. The only defense he has is his offense, his speed and his blasters. He dresses relatively light in civilian-like clothing, which make him susceptible to just about any kind of attack.
Gear: The Aldeerian pilot wears a long sleeved, white shirt with a small red jacket over it that stops at his waist. His pants are dark, brown with light brown boots. At his hip, he wears a belt that holds both his blaster pistol holsters and several pouches with ammo and the like with a golden buckle with the family emblem on it which means peace/harmony. Certainly something that Ascen doesn't exactly live up to.
Dual blaster pistols that Felix spent a good portion of his money on to be custom made for him. It features a high rate of fire and holds several rounds, but has a limited range. The blaster pistol packs quite the bunch, tearing through most lightweight armor.
Ship:
Felix has practically lived on his medium-sized frigate,theAscension, for the last few years. The frigate has a relatively small crew size, which consists mainly of droids, three large engines, and a Class 1.5 hyperdrive. It is spacious enough to carry up to a dozen passengers at any given time and has a decently sized cargo capacity. It is equipped with two twin turbolasers mounted on either side of the center, with one twin turbolaser on the underside, and a double laser turret above the bow. The addition of a small hangar on the frigates underbelly allows for a handful of smaller starfighters to stay on the Ascension, including his own starfighter, at the loss of a few escape pods. The Ascension obviously refers to Felix's love for flying.
The Virago, is a small starfighter that is safely secure in Ascension's hangar. Similar to Felix, the ship is small, weak, and can't take many hits. On the other side, it is maneuverable, fast, quick-firing, and accurate. It is armed with two double laser turrets on each winger, much like Felix himself. The name means a strong, courageous woman. The ship is Felix's "baby girl", hence where it got its name as a strong woman.
Personality: Ascen blood runs deeply in Felix and he can be easily compared to most Alderaanians. He had a peaceful attitude, one of diplomacy and kindness toward all others, regardless of species. Because of his upbringing, he is largely viewed as a noble, but hardly carries the stereotypical traits of one. He is not a snob, a tactical idiot, or inconsiderate towards his comrades. In most cases, he plays the diplomat, often resolving feuds and high tensions between the men. His peaceful attitude attitude derives from his family's heritage. Ascen, is merely a shortened version of Ascent or Ascension. The name refers to flying and the peace that comes with it like angels. Which is why his family's emblem simply means peace.
On the other hand, Felix ventured off into territory the Ascens never would or should. By leaving his home world and family for the life of adventure and later military, he broke that sacred emblem and name. His family shunned and disowned him from that day on which brought a harsh bitterness to Felix. In order to do what he loved most, he had to practically give up his family to do so. It deepened his connection with flying to a further extent, while also fueling him with a silent rage behind his peaceful walls. His outtake on peace differed, because the fact he thought you had to seek out peace and defend it. Diplomacy and war merged together and through them peace was created, however short lived it was. To fight for the republic was to fight for peace, however impossible it seemed to achieve. Those are the reasons he still carries his family's name, emblem, and motto.
Although, usually light-hearted and happy, Felix also carries a leadership personality. He can be authoritative and commanding at times, as well as mentoring at other times. Some have compared him to a Jedi Master. A peaceful warrior who can lead and mentor when he needs to. An accurate comparison, however even the Jedi and Felix's ideals differ from each other. However, Felix once dreamed of being a Jedi Knight as a Jedi and the adventure and thrill it would bring. It was not to be however, but he still looks up to the Jedi as honorable warriors and diplomats. Like himself.
History:
Felix Ascen of the prestigious Ascen family, one of the richest and well known Alderaanian families. He was born into the beautiful planet of Alderaan, the jem of the Core Worlds. His father a famous diplomat and his mother of royal blood. Felix would be the first born child, to be later followed by two brothers and one sister. Practically of noble descent, Felix would become one of the biggest upsets ever known to the Alderaanian people. For, he would throw away his family and his peoples teachings in the pursuit of "adventure" turning his back on his family and people forever. He took up arms and disgracefully bloodied his hands. And the worst thing was that he said he was doing the right thing.
Growing up on Alderaan was a luxury for the young boy. His mother and father cared for him deeply and wanted the best for him. They enrolled him at some of the finest schools on the planet to learn with some of the best. They were hoping for him one day to become Alderaan's very own senator and perhaps even one day the Supreme Chancellor. Felix took well to this dream, but hid a wild spirit. He took a liking to education, arts, architecture, poetry, the performing arts, and diplomacy as his father introduced him to such and has his education developed. His future seemed to be carved in stone before even his brothers and sisters were born.
Felix was eight years old when the Alsakan Crisis occurred, the same age his father began to allow him to take vacations from school to partake in his diplomatic missions. He grew a strange sense of attachment to starships and traveling as well as diplomacy. His wild spirit began to breach through his cocoon as he was exposed to the dangers of the galaxy. A war was raging that had many people fearful as the Republic struggled with their foes. Felix got to experience the war from the role of a diplomats son as he watched his father ventured far off seeking peace with the Republics enemy.
When the war ended, the frequent trips with his father drew to a slow trickle as he became swamped with school work and the galaxy returned to a peaceful state once again. With each passing day, the gifted student began to realize his potential and had wild dreams of becoming an adventurer or a Jedi Knight. His family attacked him when he mentioned the dreams and demanded him to push such thoughts aside before they corrupted his young mind. Apparently, they were far too late.
A slowly developing teenager, the frequency and length of his fathers trips increased, and Felix's urge to go along with his father greatly increased. The Ascens were glad to see their son so excited to witness diplomacy first hand with the new Republic worlds of the mid rim, that they hired a private tutor for the child as he ventured off into the unknown with his father as they attempted to expand the Republics borders peacefully. Felix witnessed as the war with the Hutts slowly began, developing first into a cold war. It was interesting to say the least.
Over the next few years, Felix continued to attend school as well as his father's trips. At the age of 16, he was finally granted his wish and admitted into a private flight school. He had to abandon trips with his father altogether to make up for the extra education he was receiving. His new schooling also brought about more knowledge about mechanics and engineering as well as repairing and droids. His mind flourished on Alderaan as his studies grew more difficult and strenuous, that he neglected most of his health and strength.
At the age of 22, he left his family behind. When he told them about how he wanted to adventure out into the galaxy and how he would be shattering his families expectations for him and leaving the life they wanted to live, they shunned him and disowned him. Even with the Ascen named, it was challenging to find suitable work. He traveled to Coruscant on which he became a private pilot for some of the most prestigious families on the planet wide city. The career was short-lived when two years later he was recruited by a private company to scout some of the unknown regions he use to travel to with his father. In turn, he would be partially working for the Republic as well. With some private funds and some funds the company provided, he managed to purchase the Ascension and later the Virago , as well as a crew. For the next four years, he performed scouting missions on the borders of Republic and Hutt space, often throwing himself into danger. The crew of the Ascension was attacked numerous times by the likes of pirates and other criminals, never finding out if they were aligned with the Hutt Empire.
Felix returned to the Republic's Capital with several successful missions and valuable information of planets, aliens, and trade routes. He had made a name for himself, both as the Captain of the Ascension and the run-away diplomat. When the Hutt War broke out, Felix signed up for the Republic Navy's Officer Corps and attended Officer training as well as brushing up on his starfighter knowledge. At such a young age with a bright resume, the younger Alderaanian shows promise for a future in the Republic.
