Amos considered the mandalorian's offer. One one hand, he had no reason to trust this random mandalorian. On the other hand, this had hardly been a normal mission. He needed more information before he made a decision. "What makes you think the clone is alive?" he asked.
A refund, plus interest? If Amos was driven by more selfish means, he would've accepted immediately. "Where do you think we should look first?" he asked, "and why?"
This was getting out of Amos' comfort zone quickly. "One does not simply walk into Dathomir" he said, nervously. "How exactly did you come across this information?" he asked.
Amos breathed a sigh of relief as the mission appeared to shift away from him- a career paper pusher- doing the dangerous work of infiltrating Dathomir. "And I wish you all the best with that!" he said, honestly. The mandalorian was most certainly more qualified for this type of dangerous mission. "But that's a lot of trouble to go through for someone who you haven't even met. What makes you want to rescue this clone?"
There was nothing Amos could do to avoid the stun bolt; perhaps a more experienced fighter could've avoided it, but Amos was no combatant. The Ranger collapsed in a heap, unconscious.
