I don't really know much about the case. All I know is that I hope that riots don't occur again, even if that might be unlikely. I don't think the riots were justified, as I do know they target business that didn't have anything to do with the case and the people who owned the business weren't directly involved with what occured. Thats just my opinion though.

i go out there and i see blacks and whites beating up on their girlfriends, and i tell them to stop and to get off our cars and they have the nerve to tell me, "well they be ain't no sign that says i can't sit on them." it's this ghetto culture along with other factors in our society (everyone wins and the blatant problems with our welfare system.)

Saying "I agree" without any form of backing evidence for your argument is just as 'uneducated' as you think his response is. PLEASE tell me how you believe that the absolutely uncalled for killing, which is the DEFINITION of murder, of an unarmed 18 year old African American kid by a man who was given a full month of paid leave, while also receiving more than a quarter of a million dollars from obvious racists was nothing but a racially infused and malicious killing.

Also to add onto this fact, the freaking KKK is celebrating along with those who supported Darren Wilson. I say again, PLEASE tell me how this is about anything other than race, because there is no way in hell you can justify it. Until then, Sovereign is in every right to call you names

Okay, I'm sorry but... Does anybody in America know the actual definition of racism anymore? The Jim Crow laws were racist. "Seperate But Equal" was racist. A jury deciding not to indict a white man for shooting a black man-- teenager, but legally an adult-- under dubious circumstances is not, in itself, racist. If it was done in the belief that said black man was inherently inferior to the white man, then yes.

We don't actually know the precise details of what happened, and until that happens, which it likely never will, there is no reason to automatically assume that the cop was a racist and shot the kid specifically because he was black.

If I'm wrong about that, please prove me wrong. I'm just already sick of people taking sides and slinging insults at each other (and, y'know, rioting) instead of acting rationally.

It's called disparate impact. It's been studied. As an attorney I can attest to it. It is racist and it is in fact explicitly analogous to the two examples you mentioned in your very post.

As for insulting people, we've already had lengthy discussions (with dataz and numb3rs you gaiz) with unreconstructed Thurmondians like M. TWD and at this point, so I find pointing and laughing to be a more worthy endeavor.

But by all means, kimosabe. Go back to tucking back in your shirt and pedantically telling us how *another* black person getting killed by a white cop under dubious circumstances and then suffering not even the indignity of say, some sort of method for weighing evidence in a... courtroom perhaps is not just the slightest bit racially tinged.
