It's like... The most clichè thing ever.

Not that it is bad. You can't really find 'originality' nowadays. You're allowed to go for the over-used, well-known, no-surprises, I-knew-this-would-happen, jesus-get-a-creative-bone if you write it well.

(So, clichè is alright if you're masterish with its presentation). (I must also admit, that as a character concept, it's somewhat intruiging).
