Fight on Ossus/Rhen Var

Right Sith and SBZ, the Jedi are coming pretty damn close in their first mission sets. Currently they only have one person signed up on there side (For Ossus), but i'm sure there will be more who plan to take part as people begin putting their character sheets in. With it being in such close proximity to our territory, I am thinking that we at least show our face on the planets surface.

Of course, I can't go alone. As much as i would like to fight three Jedi at once, it wouldn't be smart. If there are groups of us that would be willing to have a scrap, possibly at the cost of our characters then please post your interest bellow. We should also consider that if their plan is early aggression and they get rolling, there could be a dramatic snowball effect that means us fighting in our own territory.

If possible, I would like to match their numbers. I'd also like to consider getting extra people on standby who can travel back to Korriban and tell our allies that we could use some reinforcements during the thread.

I couldn't agree more, actually - on the mind frame of showing face in territories so close to our own. On the topic of Ossus - this character's home planet is Ossus, thus he may fight with added ferocity simply from the fact, not to mention strategic and topographical advantages Internecion could offer in any resistance we wish to pose on that planet. I do intend to take part in a few more threads - but depending on who you have available for this (also I'm assuming your devoting Ryu Wren for this disruptive aim in the Jedi mission?) I may also be up for committing Internecion for these purposes. In the least if we find we have many people interested in this, Inter could be the one to travel back to Korriban to procure reinforcements (as I think that is big in this goal, to avoid character deaths we could use for a sudden show of allies, should we get overwhelming and need a distraction to escape) or if we find ourselves under manned in this motive, I certainly wouldn't mind offering Internecion for this. I do intend to involve him more in the advancement of the Outer Rim territories and Tattooine Sith Temple missions, but regardless if we don't show face on these initial missions, then we will find ourselves establishing in the Outer Rim, while we lose precious territories already claimed.

If your character has knowledge of the region then it would be good to have you on board. I'm not 100% sure of the terrain of Ossus, is it mainly forests? If it is, i have a very sound plan.

I am of course referencing wookieepedia - but I would think a terrestrial, breathable climate - the ordinary wilderness earth-like setting, caves, plains, lush forests (especially considering the Ysanna were tribal people and that was roughly a large percentage of the planet's population), maybe some deserts, mountains, etc. I would think the setting more giant collective tribal constructions, instead of vast technologically advanced metropolises like Coruscant and those of the Core Worlds too. I should think guerrilla tactics should prove efficient, if that's the direction you are thinking? Count me in on anything your planning, I would like to put some thought into a good escape plan as well should things turn for the worse.

My plan is slightly more subtle. Does your character have a connection with his homeworld? He would travel back there from time to time?

His immediate village and father were destroyed by a team of Jedi Hunters when he was young, talking like 15 years before the present day. But among the Ysanna tribal people, Internecion's real name and identity - Erebos Kaan - would be that of legend. At a young age he was a sort of prodigy amongst the warrior caste of the tribesmen, but after their village was destroyed he was pronounced dead. If he did return (which he didn't, and does not - having not much reason to, beyond any Sith objectives) any tribesmen would likely recognize his face and name, and welcome him with hospitality - surely, as long as any Sith allegiances were kept hidden from the Ysanna.

I'd be interested in this as well. I'm trying to get Rosalin involved in two of the recruiting sith missions, and Aria's with you at Cadmon (?) right now, but I totally agree that we need to show up in these battles one way or another. They're targeting aggressively and action must be taken. So yes, I'll throw in one of my characters. (But I don't want to die so escape plans are helpful)

Cool, lets see if we can get a few more then we can discuss plans. I can't promise that we will all come back alive though. Regardless I'd personally not like to give anyone anything for free.

I have a plan that might work in my head, but will be dependant on what they do.

i'm going to ask you guys to deal with the guys going to Rhen Var. Currently there are two Jedi Knights that will be going there. Be smart with your plans. If you don't feel you can engage, gather information and bring it back to our FL/AFL's.

I just took a look at the Jedi Mission sign up thread for Rhen Var and they've got four jedi interested in the mission we will be interfering with. I don't know if they'll allow all four or if it will only be three, but either way we're probably going to have to go stealthy instead of combat on this one.

Von is SBZ - non force savvy. I've got a FS sith that deals mostly with force powers, not very good with the saber and a non FS SBZ sister that does hand to hand, sniping, and computers. Personally I'm thinking my SBZ Aria would be more suited, but what are your thoughts?

They haven't started the thread yet, but keep an eye out for it, it'll be titled "Don't Forget Your Mittens". Their objective is just to take over an old abandoned temple, so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too difficult to maybe set a few traps within, try to pick off a straggler, something like that while also gathering the intel about what they're purpose is and what they're doing on the planet.

There are also a huge number of Jedi looking to batter us in our open threads also. In regards to the Rhen Var situation, i need you guys to be careful. There is going to be their AFL there and while it would be cool to take him out first thread, lets not get too bold here.

If it turns out that the guys on Ossus finish up, we will be flying past Rhen Var back to Korriban, therefore we can intercept and reinforce you if needed.

@RedneckLoves I think us both going SBZ would be better as my character is actually very good at stealth tactics and ambush warfare. I'll take a closer look at the mission once I'm off work. If you want PM me and we can work our strategy out without prying eyes on us.

Be careful though lads. These threads can easily slip over the lines to metagameness which is not aloud in any shape or form. Keep your plans broad and simple, also message Marcus to make sure he is 100% fine with people entering the open thread. These are Jedi Missions after all and this is the first day of the timeline.

@Sapphire Storm Hey, we have a group of three ready to match the group of three the Jedi are sending to Ossus. Benvenu has said he is cool with us joining. I just wanted to double check with you that we have the go ahead.

I PMd Marcus since its his deal and he's afl. I know how to be fair :) Plus, they've got four jedi going on that mission now and there are only two of us SBZs going. Soooooo stealth is the name of the game.

Just make sure you have a good IC reason for going. "I am SBZ hunting jedi" isn't good enough. I'll leave you guys to think up a reason.

Guys you can join and we can't stop you just understand 10 Sith and SBZ is kind of rude. Since they are open its up to you really to join but if it seems meta game that will make things a no go.
