Finals Week [Flashback]

[Steel Wraith]

Skaut looked around the apartment for the crystal. There was a safe in the living room, with a padlock on it. "Wonder what's in here." He said and got his blaster pistol and shot the lock off. He opened the safe and there was the crystal, along with a healthy serving of Sith texts. "Bingo." He said and grabbed all of the contents of the safe and headed outside. He heard the alarms sound as he exited. He saw a body on the end of the hallway.

"Soran." He muttered under his breath. This was supposed to be quiet. Now the guards would be on his position any minute now. He would have to use stealth as a way out. He headed for the maintenence room near him and took the emergency transport down, and walked to Soran. "I'm guessing that it was you who left an entire building full of bodies." He said, clearly frustrated. Why did Soran pull the alarm? Why so many bodies? Why did Soran almost risk his hide for a little fun? Whatever. The task was done.

Soran stood arms crossed waiting on Skaut, "Wait for it.", he nodded back toward the building. Window by window the entire building lit up from the inside, Soran watched with a dark smile the red in his eyes was bright as he watched the building burn. "No witnesses.", he turned still smiling, Skaut followed and they boarded the transport. Soran caught sight of the documents that were with the real prize, "I will take those. You did well, not one guard was alerted and now they are all rather crispy." He laughed, not a pleasant laugh but a tone that held Darkness inside of it.

Skaut handed the documents to Soran as the ship made the jump back toward Korriban. He read in silence thinking about the performance of the young man, well that was a start he had some potential.
