[Caerllion of Cyfnos]

Caerllion landed the rented ship in a clearing some meters away from Mount Tantiss. During the time that Palpatine’s Empire spread across the Galaxy, the mountain had been the location of an Imperial base. Inside, scientists had operated one of the most ambitious Imperial projects.

Cloning of Force sensitives.

However, the Annfyn objective there wasn’t to start cloning an army of Sith. Cloning individuals with the ability to use the Force was impossible. He only wanted to secure a larger place where the Order could use as its laboratories. After all, his projects were starting to get big and bigger.

After so many years abandoned, the place would need to see a reconstruction. However, first Caerllion needed to liberate the base from a group of pirates that had decided to turn it into their headquarters. For this mission, the Annfy had enlisted the help of an Acolyte, who was now waiting at his side outside the ship.

[Karai Hekk-iv-Adas]

It had been a short while since Karai had last seen Caerllion and the duel which they had witnessed between Drane T'keen and his opponent Qû’jara Jinyeva who had shown a lot of promise. Both had as warriors, both were people to aspire to become. Just as the king was. In truth Karai was glad to have finally been noticed and able to show his true worth. With the Sith Master, he would be able to put in a good word should things go right and allow him further chances to prove himself to king Arcanos and the Order.

From what little he had been told, this was to help convince the locals of an alliance with the Sith by clearing put a bunch of pirates who had made themselves at home inside the facility upon Mount Tantriss. A facility the Sith wanted. Karai had done his research before the trip and on the way there. It had once been an important Imperial base that had conducted perhaps one of the most ambitious and secretive projects of the Galactic War decades ago, during he time of the likes of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

A time of heroes and villains, legends on both sides.

He wondered if he would be such a legend one day, just like Arcanos was. His research had indicated the base had once been used to attempt to create force-sensitive clones. With no success. The idea intrigued him, as did the possibility of they could succeed where Palpatine/Sidious failed with the advancements in technology and Sith techniques. Perhaps they could find out once they had secured the base. Of course Karai wasn't doing it for free...like any Sith he had a price. A section of the base for himself towards his own uses. Just as Caerllion wanted a piece. While he would never clone himself, the idea of finding a strong warrior for a genetic template, and finding some lab technicians with a genetics and cybernetics background to help staff the facility and start cloning an army similar to clone wars did appeal to him. To help the regime, Sith and himself.

To help build himself an army that would perhaps rival that of Jango Fett with a superior template and a keen warrior mind to oversee it. A Sith mind not blinded by his own machinations as was Palpatine.

Karai had requested that Caerllion wait a little while. He called upon additional aid to assist. A surprise of sorts. There had been some grumbling but he had agreed, and Karai allowed himself a small smile when they arrived with the various shuttles that had transported them, landing and allowing the droid army to roll out before them. There were rows upon rows. 200 B1 battle droids stepped to the front, followed by 100 B2 super battle droids and finally 20 Droidekas all repaired up to modern standards who stood before them in battle formation. And yet this was not all of the droids he had but merely a smaller fraction of it.

A B1 Commander droid with the famous yellow patched arms stepped towards the pair and with a salute answered.

"We are here commander. What our our orders sir?"

Karai looked to Caerllion, with a small smile as he spoke.

"So what you think Master Cynfos? Was it worth the wait? I acquired them recently during another assignment. A reward for helping another out. Figured they might come in useful during this. Just give me a second and I'll add you to the command structure temporarily."

With that he added Caerllion to the list of commanders temporarily for this particular battalion, allowing him to also command them as necessary.

"There we go, all sorted. You should now be able to temporarily command them for the duration of this assignment. Give it a try to test it if you want. I hope everything is satisfactory to our needs. Should make our job a whole lot easier, especially with convincing the locals and clearing out the pirates."

[Caerllion of Cyfnos]

Caerllion watched the pocket droid army arrive. It looked like a staging of the Clone Wars, lacking only a dude dressed like Count Dooku and another doing cosplay of Grievous. He wondered if Karai had competence in commanding these troops. The Pureblood looked to be so young.

“Of course.” he said, while waiting for Karai to do what he said. “They are impressive.” Caerllion stared at the droids. “They’ll be useful to deal with the pirates.” they not only had to see the status of the laboratories, but would also need to deal with criminals that turned the place in their den.


With him added to the chain of command, Caerllion decided to give the remaining instructions. “We are going to meet the pirates on that mountain. First I want to make an offer to them, so the army will remain hidden in the forest for a time. If it fails, the droids are going to attack.” he hoped that a peaceful solution would be achieved, but would be prepared for the worst anyway.

With those instructions, Caerllion led the march toward Mount Tantiss.

[Karai Hekk-iv-Adas]

Karai listened carefully as Caerllion explained what his intent would be. He was happy that the droids met his approval as he continued to listen and take in the information, thinking upon it. They were to deal with pirates, which he knew only responded to credits. If they expected to reach any kind of deal, they would need a way to make it worth they're while to move. That and they respected strength, they would need a show of it.

He considered it and spoke.

"An excellent approach Master Cynfos, although might I make an additional suggestion? That we take some of the droids with us. Pirates respect a show of strength usually, a way to show we mean business. That we are not here to play games. Just as much as they do. By taking some we show we have such strength without fully showing our hand with the rest hidden. If this meets your approval I will have some join us."

He said as they marched, if agreed to he would com the droids commander to send some with them.
