Several years had passed since Aurora's initial proposal to the Jedi Council. Five to be exact. Incidents on Alderaan and Brentaal had kept her priorities elsewhere, but, finally, it was time to make good on that proposal. The Exiles had transformed into the Sith Empire, making them more dangerous than ever; and the Hutt Cartel had become even more formidable, with confirmed activity on Brentaal and evidence leaning towards the same on Alderaan. Hang the non-aggression pact: the Republic needed the Jedi Order.

To that end, Aurora contacted her old friend, now a Jedi Master, Jon, and summoned him to the polar mountains of Arkania so that the two could finally discuss the location of a secret Jedi academy the two of them had been planning. The academy would be secluded. The Arkanian government would not know about it, nor would the Republic, and certainly not the Sith. There were no records of the Council meeting that had approved its creation and most of those who knew of that meeting were already dead. Their secret was safe. It needed to be. At least for now.

Aurora planned to meet Jon on an abandoned landing pad in the polar regions of her homeworld. The pad had once belonged to an observation facility, but the facility had been mysteriously destroyed several years ago. Equally mysterious was the government's decision not to reoccupy it. But those mysteries could wait for another day. For now, it was convenient to Aurora, as it afforded their mission the secrecy it required. Of course, there was the biting cold to deal with, but... beggars couldn't be choosers. @Wit @Aberforth @Insalius

Jon fought the impulse to scratch at the scar that ran down the right hand side of his face as he stepped out of his ship and into the frozen landscape of Arkania's polar caps, the frigid wind beating against his face. The cold didn't really bother him, as a Jedi he had learnt to ignore such things, but the scar was a new companion, and the sudden onslaught of the frigid wing almost made it feel like the wound was still fresh.

Spotting the Arkanian Senator waiting for him, he did his best to ignore the scar and began walking towards her with a smile on his face. It had been a long time since they had met, and he had been pleasantly surprised when she had reached out to him about finally completing what they had started all those years ago. "Senator Adasca!" Coming to a stop in front of her, he performed a short bow before straightening with a wide grin on his face. "It's good to see you again, I am glad to see you're doing well."

He could still remember with clarity their first encounter, and what she had told him about some of her actions putting her life in jeopardy. Back then he had offered to protect her, but they both had duties that had made that a hollow promise at best. So he was genuinely glad to see her safe and sound. And the fact that they were going to finally try and build the academy she had wanted meant that there would be more Jedi presence on Arkania. And even he himself was not able to help her as much as he had once hoped to, there would be some Jedi ever present here to help her out if she needed it. But that would only happen if they succeeded here, and there was still a ways to go.

Dennys had eagerly commissioned this armor made on Adumar, a planet he had visited during his many travels through the galaxy, along with the vibrospear he now held in his hands. It was mainly for show, as while the armor worked just like any other suit of armor and the spear a simple vibroweapon, the aesthetic was draconic in nature and helped him focus his exuberance into something more deadly: determination. He stood on a ledge overlooking where the two people had just landed, not really caring who they were, and gave a small smile. That was where the two of them had found out some dragon eggs lie and Dennys was determined to get his own. If he could figure out how to hatch the little guy, he'd have his own pet dragon, whom he would love and take care of for the rest of his life. If the newcomers wanted to get in his way, he'd shove his spear so far up their asses they'd...Well, it wouldn't be comfortable, in the least.

His usual weapons were in pockets of the armor, along with his survival gear that was usually in his fanny packs. Lightsaber and blaster were hidden out of sight and his usual clothing was underneath the armor, as it was just a light shirt and shorts anyway. In fact, the armor made him look quite a bit slimmer than usual. He had no problems with his body size, yet this could prove to be quite interesting regardless. He looked at his companion before pointing out a path they could take to their target. "Don't know if they're here for a fight but I spy two unwanted guests. Do we ignore them or take them down?" He twirled the spear, usually heavy in the hands of the untrained but perfectly balanced in his, and rested it across the back of his neck in a comfortable position. He was fine either way. The dragon was the most important part of their tasks.

Five years had passed since Moor had initially set out to recover the dragon eggs. The galaxy had been through a lot since then The Jedi Exiles once thought of as some benign blight on the peace the Republic enjoyed had organized into an Empire that threatened to shatter everything that Moor loved. That was why he had taken it upon himself to execute OPERATION Re:Genesis.

The Nubian senator and former military officer was no longer hiding behind the selfish facade that he had grown accustomed to following the death of his wife. The recovery of the Arkanian specimen was not motivated by pride, but duty. While he could have directly interceded to the Junior Senator of Arkania with whom he had already interacted on during hearings on the Senate, his assignment ought to remain secret if his efforts were to be met with success. Besides, nothing guaranteed that the Arkanian government would have been willing to part with the eggs of the creatures they revered, even if it was to support a noble cause.

Moor had adorned his old Special Ops Armor and had equipped his 2L Blaster Rifle and Collapsible Vibro-Sword for the occasion. However, Moor had already decided against resorting to force unless absolutely necessary and he voiced as much to his associate when two figures appeared in the distance. "Attacking them now would only attract unwanted attention."

The companion he had selected for this mission, a self-proclaimed BADASS, now positively revulsed him. Though he could not prove his affiliation to the Herald of the Dark side, Moor knew enough to be suspicious about his true allegiances, yet the end justified the means. "Let's set out for the dragon nest. We have no time to waste," Moor added indicating the mountain that rose on the horizon, sheer rock striking down from snowy peak; only the base was softened by the virescence of a pine blanket.
