The Imperial Mining Consortium that has a controlling interest in Mimban has long sense used 'prisoners with jobs' as their primary laborers. These people have been found guilty of crimes against the Empire ranging from sedition, encouraging rebellion to open political dissent. Though not technically treasonous and for the most part non-violent, these prisoners have been sentenced to death nonetheless. Life in the central mines is hard, unforgiving and brutally managed.

The Galactic Alliance has found this to be a prime target. If they can seize control of the primary mine on the northern hemisphere, the workers will create a huge and motivated army able and willing to help liberate their brethren elsewhere on the world. The rebel forces dispatched must find their way through to the mine control building, bypass or defeat their security and release the prisoners.
After all this time, Devrim had finally returned to Mimban. Though he and Toland Vult, with the assistance of a hired hand, had attempted to reveal the atrocities of this labour camp to the Galaxy for all to see. The people being held here weren't even criminals in the normal sense, having been sentenced to death for dissension, sedition, and being rebels. Now it was time for the Galactic Alliance to free these people, and in turn, free Mimban from the clutches of the Empire. This would be the first step in achieving that goal.

Two Jedi had been sent on this mission — Devrim Wolfe and Pho Gorcru. Though the Rebel Commander had not yet been on any assignment with Pho and hadn't even met him before, it encouraged the black-clad man that there were Jedi out there that he hadn't met. It meant that the Order was growing, and it was growing strong.

It was dawn, and the first rays of sunlight had begun shining down on the mining camp. The buildings seemed homely, but that was far from the truth — the prisoners inside were barely given enough food, only receiving what was deemed necessary to carry out their daily quotas at the mine. What an awful place, Devrim thought, staying silent as he walked along the cobblestone path. He and Pho approached the camp from the southwest corner, passing in front of a building on their left. Their goal was a smaller building near the center of the camp, where the overseer and guards were housed in comfort. With them dealt with, then the Empire would no longer have any control over the prisoners here.

Clad in his usual black armour that could very well be mistaken to be that of a Sith, Devrim was armed with his usual weapons, save his PIPE. It was far too heavy and conspicuous to carry around out in the open. However, instead of the usual dual frag grenades on his belt, Devrim carried a pair of freshly-acquired Thermal Detonators. (Mission Reward) Keeping his eyes open for any guards, Devrim remained alert.

In the economic world there are plenty of instances where corporations kept tabs on their enemies. The Old Empire was one suuch competitor for the Imperial Republica. Hozan sat in a tree on his haunches, clad in his dark cloak. He watched the camp from a distance. He wondered if they would steal the prisoners for the Republica. The man was indifferent to slavery. It was a means to an end and all beings were shackled to mortality.

There were few beings out at this time and the acolyte watched from his perch at the few figures he could see some twenty meters away. His feet were beneath him on the branch, his claws digging in slightly to the bark as he examined a figure that stood out among everyone else. Even at this distance he was noticably different. Perhaps Hutt enforcer or some slaver. He had a size to him that said he was too well fed and clean to belong in this place. Hozan's nostrils flared slightly.

Today he was wearing simple sith marauder armor, not his bright golden heavy set of attire for overt activity. His left clawed hand had its palm pressed against the trunk of the large floral organism. On his right he flexed his right in anticipation. Despite the stench of exhaustion there was resentment, rebellion in the air. That was easily associated with violence. Death would have its tithe today as sure as the sun rose.

Mimbian found itself hosting a slave camp. Now typically Harrison did not believe in the Empire using slaves, however, the camp was a useful source of resources for the Empire, and Harrison was dedicated and completely loyal to the empire, despite the raging civil war between the two factions of the Empire. Harrison was located in the security command room looking over the many screens that surveyed the camp. Harrison paced the room talking to the technicians and making small talk. The day was the usual every once in a while there would be a small rebellion that would need to be put down, the perpetrators punished and the camp going back on schedule. Today however, there were rumors of something big going on, maybe a full fledged riot, but that was said everyday. Among the troops stationed here, there were several Sith acolytes on duty patrolling and helping out. (@Darasuum )

There was so much darkness and hatred in the galaxy thanks to the Sith Empire. It would take a lot of work and a lot of time to fix it. Pho was a Jedi now, a Knight, ready to take on the task. His partner was also a Jedi, but seemed to be more Rebel than Jedi at a glance. The armor, heavy weapons, and the way he moved all spoke of someone ready for war. Pho did not fault him for it, but they were certainly quite different from each other. The Zabrak Jedi wore simple robes with armored bits that made him look like a basic traveler. His lightsaber and other weapons were covered by the flowing cloth most of the time as well. A lightsaber, a pistol, and a vibroblade were clipped to his belt. He also had some knockout gas grenades in his pockets that could help bring a peaceful end to a fight.

Pho looked to the target building near them. A few well placed gas grenades could knock them all out and let them liberate the camp. The Jedi knew it would probably not be so simple though. Darkness was strong here and it was not just from the suffering. The Zabrak Jedi Knight remembered this feeling from Al'doleem when the two Sith warriors confronted him. Their presence sent a ripple, as did their deaths. It seemed something similar was here as well. Pho prepared himself for the storm that was likely to come next. The force swirled around him as he prepared for whatever was to come next.

"Remember, our goal is liberation. This is not a mission of destruction." He said quietly, noting the explosives his partner carried.

Beneath his helmet, Devrim raised an eyebrow at Pho's quiet, sideways comment to the Rebel Commander. Though Pho was indeed a Jedi Knight and outranked him as a Jedi, Devrim had simply to stand before the Council before becoming one himself. "Liberation often requires destruction," he replied in a low tone. Of course, the black-clad Commander was not one to needlessly take life — but in the defense of both himself and others, Devrim would do what was necessary. Walking forward at a gentle pace, he allowed the Force to flow through him. Meditating on the Light, as he did near-constantly, allowed the Jedi to maintain a calm and peaceful composure no matter what situation he was in. Doing so made the presence of something dark very apparent — an aberration to the natural order of things. A Sith was here.

Though he hadn't expected there to be one here at a remote and largely inconsequential mining labour camp, it seemed the Imperials were on higher alert where the threat of rebellions were highest. Devrim and Pho would need to take down the opposition if they were to proceed with freeing the prisoners here. Stepping calmly along the walkway, Devrim paused at the corner of the building at the Southwestern corner of the camp. From here, he was able to view the open space with two large trees on his left, and the smaller control center further ahead. The garbs of the duo would certainly be a curious sight to any onlookers, with one resembling that of a Sith and the other of a homeless Zabrak. Only a few of the camp labourers had begun to go about their duties, leaving the confines of the buildings to repair mining carts and other equipment for the hard day's work.

From here, Devrim remained alert as he scanned his surroundings. Though he couldn't place a finger on it, he knew danger was coming. If there was indeed a Sith here, Devrim would be more than willing to face off against one. The last Sith that he had fought fell to a blaster to the chest before even clashing blades. A proper duel between Light and Dark would be exhilarating to the Rebel Commander.

Both force users and non force users alike shared something in common. In fact all living beings did. Fear of the unknown. While force sensitives were more attuned and had an additional sense to detect things like intent they still could not find the truest meaning behind feelings. That was why Hozan was not worried about the chance of his own feelings ebbing through the force as all things did. Sure there were people out there, jedi operatives or inquisitorial sith, soldiers of fortune that all had a tap into the force. But they did not know him and while they could detect his emotions perhaps they would not know where he was or what he could do.

They said Sith dealt with absolutes. But Hozan did not feel that was a bad thing. Absolutes were certainty, stronger than faith or the seeds of doubt. He was paranoid enough in other areas of his life style but out in the field like this he practically begged to have the chance to earn the harvest of lives.

The two people that he had been keeping a glowing set of eyes on were moving to the southwest corner, closer to his own position. But it would not matter where they were in the camp if he did not move. He leapt from his position and landed with light touch before his claws dug into the ground a moment later and he shot off at speed that his biology allowed. Part of him felt hope for posssible conflict. It was what life needed to sustain itself.

The path the hybrid took was not directly towards the pair. Instead it was towards the back of a building to put between himself and the two curious individuals meaning he was not out in the open for a second. Unfortunately the downside of avoiding being seen meant he also could not keep an eye on them. But being behind a wall he moved along it until he was at a corner towards the back of the tall man and his zabrak cohort. As he moved towards the edge he had unclipped his blaster pistol's holster and kept his palm there but did not draw it. The following moments would decide whether or not he would utilize the device, his lightsaber or any of the readily available utensils of combat. The Sith sniffed the air, now being closer trying to detect any hint of the two curiosities and their identities. His two ears like fork teeth pointed upwards to detect any words they spoke.

The two individuals were standing at one corner of another building across the street. Their backs were to him and looking inwards towards the command center of the camp. They were definitly an odd pair. Hozan wondered if he should just take them down regardless if they are a threat or not. But that was too much of a stereotypical sith thing to do and the hybrid was no basic acolyte.

Harrison walked from one screen to the other checking in with the different sectors. He spotted something different close to the command center he was in. Harrison leaned over the agent’s screen to see two figures slowly walking towards the command center. “Interesting who are they, certainly not one of the slaves but they couldn’t be our guys either. Could they be civilians from a neiboring town who were far too curious? Contact security and tell them to keep a close eye on that pair and tell them to dispatch a squad to see what their up to. As of now they are not a threat but they don’t have access here, continue to track them.” The agent nodded following Harrison’s orders. From the barrack four imperial agents emerged hands on their blasters not showing hostility but were cautious. “Sirs this is restricted area, please state your reason of being here.”

A Jedi Knight was not someone to be foiled by a squad of minions. Pho simply watched as they were approached by a squad of security officers. None of them seemed to be in charge or particularly important in any form. The Zabrak smiled faintly and glanced towards his partner. A plan was already forming inside his mind before they even spoke to him. One of the guards eventually spoke up to them.

"This is a restricted zone, what are you two doing here?" Came the simple, rehearsed question.

"This guard was escorting me in. I have an appointment with your commander. Please bring me to him." Pho said to the one who spoke, subtly waving his hand so no one could tell it was a mind trick from cameras, and certainly not from behind.

"Of course, you have an appointment. Come with me." The man replied after a second, directing the squad to break up while he escorted the Jedi inside.

Pho was happy to go in alone to face whoever or whatever was indoors. He excelled at close ranges and had methods of clearing a building peacefully. His eager friend could wait outside to make sure nothing new came inside the building to bug the Zabrak. Pho would give one last glance, smiling to Devrim, as he entered the front door to the center. He continued to build the force within himself and prepare for a fight if one was to come.

It was no surprise to the Rebel Commander when both he and the Jedi Knight were approached by Imperial guards. Cameras were of no short supply here in a labour camp — eyes were needed everywhere to keep the prisoners in line. Devrim remained silent beneath his black helmet as Pho decided to respond first. At least the ruse would work to the point where they could get into the door, as one of the men escorted the two to the command center while the others walked away to continue their rounds.

Upon reaching the door, Devrim halted and gave Pho a slight nod. "I'll wait outside until your business is concluded," he spoke to the Jedi Knight. The black-clad figure could still sense the looming presence of the Dark Side, but not from inside the command center. Devrim had total confidence that Pho would be able to handle himself, and so standing alert with his back to the building wall, he waited. Whether the Imperials in command would fall for the ruse remained to be seen — though as Devrim made no effort to disguise his presence or alignment in the Force, the Dark Sider present would easily be able to discern the Rebel Commander's true identity as a Jedi.

Harrison continued to watch the screen and sighed a relief as the security detail approached the duo and engaged in conversation. Harrison leaned in and noticed the cloths they were wearing. One of the individuals was clad fully in black while the other was in simple robes with bits of armor. Harrison made a weird face. One looked like a traveller while the other looked like some acolyte. Harrison wasn't sure but lost interest. He told the agent to keep him up to date with the situation and alert him immidiatly if anything happened. Harrison stepped back from the screen and paced around the room hands clasped behind his back. His superiors would be proud, he was the model officer.

Hozan waited from his spot for a moment. He could barely hear what the approaching soldiers said to the zabrak but he heard what the zabrak said and could make out the similar syllable sounds. With their backs turned to him he unclipped a HH-69 grenade and tossed it through the air where it would be set to explode on impact. The device was aimed right between the two strange figures as they began moving forward so it would land mere centimeters behind their heels. He did not want to startle the guards that were on Hozan's own side with using lethal force right away and was not about to outright kill a target without confirming it to be a hostile. While he doubted it was a test of the facility's defenses Hozan would barely be holding back if this was some sort of internal surprise inspection. Besides, he could always capture an enemy and interrogate him for later. After the grenade would land he would ignite his lightsaber in hand, ready for what came next.

Pho was attuned to the area around him well thanks to the force being ready at a moment's notice and building up inside. He was preparing for the danger he had sensed around them. He heard something in the silence. Like something being activated and then he could hear an object approaching. Pho used his pent up energy and threw the grenade back towards where it was sent.

Being completely oblivious to Hozan’s position, Devrim felt a sense of danger spike within his mind, causing him to act as he also heard the sound of a grenade activating and sailing through the air. Not knowing what it may be, Devrim drew upon the Force and created a Barrier where he stood. If Pho's retaliatory push didn't work, then the barrier would.

Only maintaining it for a second or two so that the exertion did not begin draining him, Devrim turned to face their opponent, who had now ignited his blade threateningly. Calling his own lightsaber to his hand, the Jedi ignited it and cast an emerald green glow across the courtyard. He began his steady approach to Hozan remaining silent as he steeled his resolve for the oncoming fight.

Just as he had planned one of two outcomes occurred. Either the grenade would have landed and stuck the two strangers or they would react to it like no ordinary person could. But the grenade did not land where it intended. Instead the Zarbrak released his pent up energy and threw the device back from whence it came which shot past Hozan and went to land five meters behind him like a retaliatory piece of fruit in a mess hall food fight.

The hybrid had stepped out from his hiding place now and drew out his second lightsaber as well as Devrim approached. He pulled out his secondary lightsaber, seeing this as quickly coming to melee confrontation. His right blade was to his side while his left was in front of him. There was a determined focuse from the man before him. He seemed to be a worthy opponent. His claws gripped the ground beneath him and his stance secured, ready to spring into action or take any hefty strike the man was planning to dish out. It symbolized the force brewing inside of him as Hozan visualized a whirlpool of the afterlife swirling before potential becoming a maelstrom.

The guards from before may have been under Pho's influence before and even would have been surprised by Hozan's grenade had it landed as intended but now they saw what Hozan had been keen to reveal. They had enemies in their midst and were playing right into the hybrid's hand in this leg of the events. But the guards were nothing to rely on. The canine acolyte was perhaps foolish to think he could take on two force users by himself. Hopefully the agents inside the command center would not sit idly for two jedi to wreck havoc.

Harrison was about to leave the room when the agent stood up and semi-shouted. Harrison was about to reprimand the agent and remind him about common courtesy when he looked at the screen and saw a grenade being thrown followed by lightsabers being drawn. Harrison rushed over to the screen and looked more closely, analyzing what was occurring right before him. "Are we blind? Deploy the garrison! We are under attack! Proceed to emergency lockdown, no one in, and no one out. I'm going out there to access the situation, inform the commander of the situation and comm me if anything more mysterious happens." Harrison left in a flurry, taking the turbolift down.

The Sith in hiding had finally revealed himself. Pho saw the large being ignite his weapons and his partner went to engage. The Zabrak decided he would hold for just a moment to deal with another matter. This building would likely soon be releasing more guards or who knows what else. He quickly fished out his blaster pistol and aimed for the door console. A single shot devastated the little electronic panel, locking the door. Now it would be difficult for anyone to leave the building and assist this Sith right away. A slight smile crossed Pho's face as he watched the sparks fly. That left it real easy for the pair of Jedi to take on the Sith uninterrupted for at least a few moments.

Pho afterwards move to his left, circling around Hozan while keeping a fair distance. His lightsaber hilt found its way to his left hand and the pistol remained in his right. While keeping well outside melee range, Pho fired twice from his pistol towards Hozan's chest. The Zabrak hoped to gain attention rather than deliver a fatal blow. Either option would work though his goal was not to kill before giving the Sith a chance.

With both Jedi confronting him, now the Sith drew both sabers and stepped forward for the fight. What intrigued Devrim was the species of the being before him — it was unlike anything that the black-clad Jedi had ever seen before. However, one thing that was certain was the unmistakable dark aura that surrounded the creature. Devrim had sensed it before on many occasions, and he knew now that this Sith would not stop until any trace of the Jedi were wiped out of existence.

Holding his lightsaber in his right hand and angled diagonally across his body defensively, Devrim circled around to his right while Pho moved left. Together, they made a triangle in relation to where the Sith stood from the Jedi, with the distance between each being around 10 meters. He drew his pistol and fired it once with his left hand at the same time Pho fired twice. He didn't truly expect all the blaster shots to land or be lethal, but it would still serve as a distraction to the Sith. If they were able to take him down, then it would save them the trouble of having to fight up close.

The turbo lift reached the first floor, and Harrison hurried out of the lift as the doors began closing. Approaching the door to the command center, he saw technicians running to the door, taking out their tools. Harrison rushed over to them and asked, "What is going on?" One of the workers said the door jammed and wouldn't open. "Kriff, let me know immediately when that is fixed. These trespassers dare destroy my center!? Let them try their best." The tech nodded, and Harrison hurried off to find another door or a window. Then red klaxons began to blare, with the automatic voice coming over the speakers stating an emergency. Harrison cursed.@Cazar

The two jedi were moving in concert. At least they were coordinated, to a degree. Instead of staggering their opening shots from their blasters they fired their two shots at the same time towards his center of mass. He tilted his blade before him so that its length would catch both bolts simultaniously. The angle in which they had positioned themselves made it so that with his horizontal blade the two bolts that had come at him from either Jedi would deflect and go back to the other's partner.

Hozan's second blade came up to bat aside the follow up shot from the zabrak, expecting a salvo from each of them but only getting one from the human assailant. It was at least grouped well which was ideal if one was not firing at a dual wielding lightsaber defender. He took a step back and now held both blades in front of him, his canine teeth barred in front of him, making no move to retaliate, just to let the two jedi use their uncivilized weapons in an attempt to whittle him down. He was centering himself on fending off the ranged attacks. He thought the jedi engaged in an elegant form of combat, not stooping to the paltry methods of common street thugs.

Pho already had the lightsaber hilt in hand. When the anticipated deflection came his way he ignited the weapon and slammed the bolt towards the dirt. Both his shots were blocked, but his partner seemed to strike flesh which would be plenty for an unarmored torso. The Zabrak made no move to advance or capitalize this time. He would let his partner handle this Sith now that a wound was struck. His focus now turned towards the building they were targeting earlier. Alarms seemed to be going off and the side doors, even windows, seemed to become outlets for troops and officers to flee.

"Keep an eye on him? I'll watch for any brave ones coming out of the building."
Pho said quietly.

The Jedi Knight stood quietly, gripping his igniting lightsaber firmly as he stared towards the building. The force began to swirl within as he prepared to engage anyone who came at them. So far it was clear and only one Sith had chosen to be aggressive so far.
