As with the Sith that Devrim fought during the defense of Al'doleem, this one did not seem to recognize that Devrim was indeed wielding a Quickdraw blaster pistol. Though he only fired once, in fact two blaster bolts were discharged from the barrel. The Sith was keen-eyed enough to deflect the first bolt back towards Devrim, but the second slammed into the middle of Hozan's unprotected chest. The effect would be devastating — if it wasn't a fatal blow, then the Sith would absolutely need immediate medical attention to live and was almost certainly going to pass out from the pain of the wound. With his lightsaber already held up defensively, Devrim easily deflected the returning shot harmlessly into the ground as well as the third bolt in case it came his way.

Nodding in response to his comrade, Devrim remained wary at the same distance he was before. "I think this was the only Sith on site. I can't sense any other presence of the Dark Side." The Rebel Commander remained calm and prepared for any further attacks. It wasn't his wish to outright kill the Sith now, but he wouldn't hesitate to if the strange creature showed any further signs of hostility.

Harrison found a door guarded by two heavily armed agents. As he approached them, his comm dinged, and he stopped to listen. "Sir, the Jedi have opened fire on the Sith patroller, and one of the bolts have managed to hit him, unfortunately we do not know how much damage he has taken, and we can not send reinforcements right away." Harrison cursed again. He couldn't go out there by himself, and no troops were ready. Harrison was not trained in fighting force users. While the acolyte may be in trouble and need assistance, Harrison's role was protecting the empire as a whole, which meant he had to protect the base. Harrison grunted, and rushed back to the security room, leaving the Sith to himself, Harrison had a deep feeling of sorrow, guilt, and shame. He couldn't leave a fellow soldier by himself, but he had to save the camp and the commander. Harrison arrived at the room, "Everyone to your station, I want a full lock down, this is code red, i want all prisoners back to their respective barracks!" Everyone nodded, and spotlights began to shine brightly. @Cazar

The smell of burning flesh rose to his nose and Hozan wondered what had happened to cause it. Was somebody wounded? He had blocked the shots from the two attackers. But then smoke whisped up in front of his eyes and he felt the pain in his chest. He staggered back a few more steps. It was hard to breathe. guess I need to pay attention to my enemy's weapons more closely He kicked himself mentally for not noticing it sooner.

He had been intent on being on the defensive to lure his enemies closer for a counter attack and outlast them. But now with this wound he would have to focus on survival. His breathing was harsh and he could tell one of his lungs was probably damaged from the cooking through of the medium blaster shot. He tasted copper, there was probably some internal bleeding. But he would bring his other lightsaber in front of him to protect against any other attacks from the armored man. Until he did Hozan would focus on the pain. It would be of use to his dark side alignments as he continued to build up the force inside him. Perhaps he could try and heal the wound at least to stabilize himself. If he did not then soon he would probably succumb to shock or other internal injuries.

Watching the Sith closely while remaining on guard, Devrim could sense and see that Hozan was wielding every ounce of the Dark Side that he could to keep himself alive. While the Jedi didn't feel it entirely necessary to slay him outright, having the Sith conscious would only be a hindrance to seizing control of the facility and freeing the imprisoned labourers.

"Pho, get to the commander. We need to finish this mission, now." With his lightsaber still in his right hand and blaster trained on Hozan, Devrim raised two fingers with his hand holding the lightsaber and constricted Hozan's neck with the Force. The Jedi's intent was to block the blood from flowing to his head, not crush his throat like a Sith would usually attempt. With his brain deprived of oxygen, it would only take a few seconds before Hozan would fall unconscious to the ground. Throughout the maneuver, Devrim kept his lightsaber defensively in front of his body in case the Sith should try any last-ditch efforts to stay awake.

Pho moved quickly towards the building again. No one had come out but this was how they could liberate the camp so they had to go in. The Jedi Knight leaped up to a window with his lightsaber still ignited and plunged the blade into it as he crashed inside. He was in. Now to find the targets, capture or stop them, and free the slaves.

“Where is your commander?” He asked calmly to whoever would respond to his entrance.

He expected the man to advance on him and cut him down. Perhaps he would have rather just shot him. But the Jedi surprised him still further and was choosing to use a technique usually associated with the dark side. The thick muscly neck of the Sith tightened and veins along it bulged as pressure increased. He raise his own hand, the force having built up inside him and with a rough blast of power he would shove the man away, hopefully breaking his connection with his own throat, maybe even getting him off balance. Afterwards Hozan was spent, his left dropping to his knee as his breathing continued though barely any better.

Growling he clipped his light saber back to his belt and pulled out his pugio blaster pistol. He fired twice at the man. More to keep him at bay knowing full well he was fully capable of deflecting the shots away from himself. If your going to leave me to die of my wounds you may as well try and kill me now like a warrior. He thought to himself. He was not sure he could have spoken those words if he wanted to.

Harrison paced back and forth around the room nervously, and kept his eye on the big main screen at the center front of the room. He watched as the Jedi continued their fight at the Sith. The sith had been severly damaged, and it appeared he was choking. Harrison contiuned to watch and saw one of the Jedi enter the building through one of the windows. "Fantastic, they've entered the building. We don't stand a chance against two jedi, barley even against one. Proceed to shutdown, and begin evacuation protocals." The agents nodded, and began downloading all data, then wiping the machines. Hopefully they would be able to flee without a fight. Yes, the Jedi had won this round, but the battle was not over, Harrison would exact his revenge. "Stop the south turbolifts, inform the commander of our current situation, it is time for us to disappear." Harrison took out his blaster, and ran to the north turbolift that went up to the landing pad on the top of the building. He stepped out, and saw his shuttle among others being prepped. In the distance, he could see agents running everywhere moving equipment and transfering prisoners into ships. Harrison smiled tightly, yes, the cursed Jedi terrorists had destroyed this base, but the ideology would continue. Harrison his shuttle, and flew off.

Being focused on attempting to knock the Sith unconscious, Devrim was hit by the blast of the Force and blown backward. However, he had enough time to recover his footing and straighten his lightsaber defensively by the time Hozan had extinguished his blade and drawn his pistol. Deflecting the shots directly back toward the Sith's midsection, Devrim also raised his hand holding the Quickdraw and called upon the Force once more. Pressing down on Hozan, the Jedi would hold him in stasis so that he would be unable to block or move while still down on one knee.

With the man being thrown back there was some satisfaction from that reached Hozan from the act. But it would be short lived. The shot he fired at the Jedi would bring his lightsaber up to deflect it. The acolyte would prepare to bring his own saber to defend against what he knew was coming next but his arms would not move. He was tired, injured and the Jedi was using his own ability to keep him from moving. It was all Hozan could do to just grit his teeth as the blast bolt struck his already injured chest.

He felt the clutches of death wrap themselves around him. The world went dark and the Jedi before him faded from view as the Acolyte's eyes closed. His expression turned to a calm one before losing all life.
