First game

I was bored, and I thought it would be a cool idea to learn what the first game everyone played, and the first game everybody beat. The first game I ever recall playing was Punch Out! for the NES. To this day, I still haven't beaten Mike Tyson. The first game I ever played to completion was Metroid Prime, still my all time favorite. What all of yours?

As for the first game I ever played, I can't say for certain. I'm fairly sure it was either Jurassic Park on the SNES or Turok on the N64, since I have vivid memories of being mauled by pixelated velociraptors.

I don't often beat videogames, but when I do, I prefer Dragon Age II.

My first game ever played, that's an easy one. Star Fox for N64. Its also the first game I beat, probably due to the intense obsession I developed for it. I remember that Jurrasic park game though, it gave me nightmares.

The first game I played was the Age of Empires. Good times.

First game on PC was Reader Rabbit or Math blaster, first game ever was probably Tetris on either NES or Gameboy.

Completion...maybe super Mario 64? Not sure on that one.
EDIT: actually I think I beat Paper Mario 64 before super Mario.

I think the first game I ever played on PC was Cross Country Canada. You were a trucker and had to deliver different things across Canada and you played by typing in instructions but they had to be really specific.

Shinobi (1987). Never finished because it was just too damn hard for young me. Never finished any old arcade game for that matter.

The first game I finished is either Abuse (1996) or Tyrian, both played on PC. Had no idea what the hell I was doing nor could I understand English but they were fun nonetheless.

first I remember may have been moon patrol on the 2600, some time in the early mid 80's or something on the old intellvision i don't remember super clear
