Rena had been off Fiana once thus far, but never had they gone to visit another Jedi Temple. And, from what they understood of the explanation, not only was Starlight one of the largest in-operation Jedi Temples, but it was a space station in space. It was equal parts awesome and strange, and they were excited to see what such a place could look like. Everything about being a Jedi was just so new and exciting! They felt like they were going to die of excitement one of these days.
Unlike when they'd visited Elphrona, they weren't being sent to Starlight to tag along on a mission. According to the knight that was accompanying them, since Rena wanted to become a Jedi, visiting a large Jedi Temple like Starlight would allow them to see more of the Jedi before they began taking steps to officially become a padawan. They were more interested in pressing their face against the viewport window to gaze into the hypnotic blue streaks of hyperspace at the moment, but the knight continued to chatter on, describing various aspects of the temple. When Rena finally pulled away from the viewport, they listened intently even if they were only able to partially follow along. Mentions of libraries, mess halls, training "simulations" (whatever that word meant), and many other various things were described to Rena during the last leg of the trip.
"You will show me around?" Rena eventually asked, to which the knight responded, "No. There's a padawan here who speaks fianan. Her name is T'vani. She'll be showing you around."
Rena's eyes sparkled. As important as they knew it was to practice their basic, they much preferred speaking in their native tongue. They had so many questions and things to say all the time, and they couldn't express most of them because they didn't have the words to say it in basic!
Later that day, the shuttle would land in Hangar B. The knight, a tall half-orcolan of about six and a half feet, led Rena down the ramp and into Starlight.
