Fleet or space battles.

I have seen in one old star wars rpg forum that they have fleet battles. Well to conquer a planet with fleet you first need to destroy orbital things then on land. So my question is how so that this forum doesn't have something like that ?

We did, but fleet battles tend to bog down in OOC arguements, to where you have 10 IC posts and 100 OOC posts.

We do have Starfighter dogfights. One is going on right now at Battle of Felucia!
