Flight 961 from Bestin to Jedha
Ekaj sat in the departure room waiting to board his for his trip back to Jedha. His arm and body still hurt from his duel with the 2 exiles where he had lost his lighsaber. Though he still had his blaster it was locked up for the trip along with his dart rifle and armor. For this flight Ekaj wore a simple brown robe and was armed with only the force. Though a Jedi needed nothing more than the force.

Standing up Ekaj moved to a nearby kiosk to buy a bight to eat as he waited to board. Jedha was not a common end destination but the route was since it made a number of stops along the way. So the room was full but far far from packed. Still you all ways met strange people on these flights.

Tryck was dressed to the nines, just like he always did when travelling. His physical form may have been diminutive, just like the rest of the small, green frog-like race he belonged to, but he had class and style beyond anyone else in the galaxy. His flowing brunette hair framed his twinkling black eyes, just the right length of mascara to make his face really pop. His silk dress had just the right sheen to it to catch off the light, making it shimmer as he walked in the sapphire high heels that complemented the rest of his attire. A robin's egg blue purse was strung up around one of his arms, his ticket sticking out of it as if there wasn't enough room inside for it to properly be stowed. Anyone who knew Tryck, though, would know better than to try to guess what was inside just waiting for them to see.

"A child, you seem. Gone, your parents are? Careful, you must be. Safe for young ones, this galaxy is not." Tryck sat down next to the young man in the brown robe. With how intimate he had gotten with so many races and ages, Tryck knew that this morsel was still too young to devour yet. In a few years he would ripen into a delicious fruit, THEN he would come calling. For now, he would have to behave himself with the child. Taking out a pocket mirror, Tryck adjusted his mascara a bit and reapplied his lipstick, always wanting to look the best. He spared the young man another glance, noticing from his own ticket that they would be sitting together. "Business on Jedha, I have. Comfort the Jedi, I will. Your purpose, I ask. Built for manual labor, you are not. A student, perhaps?"

Ekaj looked at Tryk. He and Ekaj was unsure if he was a he, or if there species even had 2 genders reminded him of of Master Wyck in species only. The flamboyant clothing looked way to much to travel in. Still Ekaj was glad for the company. Taking a bite of the sandwich he just bought Ekaj smiled.

Not wanting to get in to much details with a stranger, more so when he was so vulnerable Ekaj used a while crafted story. "I had to grow up fast. Has you said the galaxy is dangours and filled with war orphans from the war" Nothing said there was a lie though it said nothing about Ekaj either. Taking another bite as Tryck spoke some more Ekaj nodded. Though he wondered by what was meant by comfort the jedi. The Jedi seemed comfortable enough at least on Jedha. "no, I am not a worker. Jedha is my home, or has close to a home I have. I am going home for a visited before I carry on with my studies" again no lies but it was only a truth from certain point of views.

Raz, under the guise of the ship's captain while the real captain was currently laying dead in a trash unit somewhere in the city, made his way to the ship's cockpit, Ah Blackrow... again I make you my Twi'lek girl.. Raz thought with a smile, and a muffled laugh. Raz, his brother, his sister, and a dozen or so hired idiot scumbags would be taking the place of the real crew shortly after take off, when Raz and his men would separate them in small groups and toss them out of the airlocks, completely unbeknownst to the ship's passengers, of which there were chartered to be more than thirty.

As Raz made it to the cockpit, he assessed the situtation, this ship like the majority of the others was staffed with only noncombatant personnell. Pouring over the flight journal, which detailed the staff on board, passengers, and cargo, Raz made a finalizing decision that the plan was a go. Into his comms Raz said, "The ship is prepped, we'll be ready for take off shortly." Raz said, a code to his team that would still seem like normal radio traffic in this situation.

Raz reminded the boarding personnel to take possession of all weapons coming on board into the ships armory, which sat through a locked gate in the cockpit, more of a caged closet than an armory, but it would serve it's purpose.

The flight from Bestin to Jedha was not as packed as Reena thought it might have been. But, then, with the Jedi Order's reputation these days, she couldn't be completely surprised. She was traveling to Jedha — not for the Jedi but — to search for more information about the Force; and Jedha was home to more than one Force religion, so it seemed the most logical place to start her journey.

As she waited for the transport to take off towards their destination, she closed her eyes and tried to find her center. She needed to be alert if she was to locate any information useful to her on her quest for deeper understanding. But, instead of peace, she found something... else. The Force was moving strangely on the passenger liner. A hint of danger, perhaps?

Her eyes eased open slowly and she scanned the cabin. Nothing seemed awry. Was this a premonition, granted by the Force, about what awaited her on Jedha? Or was it something more? She couldn't say. Instead, she remained alert, looking around the cabin for anything that might jar her or scream danger.

What she saw, instead, was a creature that looked very much like Master Wyck, from her days at the Ossus temple, in drag. Next to him was a young boy who also radiated the Force, but not its dark side. A Jedi, perhaps? She couldn't be certain of that either. Even if it was a Jedi, this was a flight to Jedha. Seeing a Jedi on such a flight wouldn't be uncommon. Still, something about the twisting feeling in her gut gave her reason to be suspicious, so she merely remained alert and waited for takeoff.

"Uughguughhhghghghhhgh aaaaahnr hnnnhrrhhh, huurh uughghhhgh, wrrhw wuuh, uughguughhhghghghhhgh uggguh, aaaaahnr huurh aarrragghuuhw huuguughghg raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh uughghhhgh," The Wook sang into the headset as he took aim and squeezed the triggers on the joystick. Twin laser blast shot out into space towards a passing asteroid and grazed one side. Molten rock and debris sprayed out from the side, and the asteroid remained in one piece. He grinned. It had been a perfect shot. The Wook had wanted to graze the side instead of destroying the thing because he would have to do that to a ship's engine. A direct hit ran the risk of causing catastrophic results. He had not fired this particular gun turret before, and had decided he would need some practice. That, and he knew better than to use an untested weapon in combat.

"Uuh huurh raaaaaahhgh huurh aaaaahnr aarrragghuuhw, aarrragghuuhw aaaaahnr wrrhwrwwhw," he growled as he took another bead on the asteroid and fired at a large chunk that stuck out from the main body. Two yellow bolts impacted a little bit lower than he'd been aiming, but the result was the same. The pillar broke free and into several pieces. There, that was the communications array gone. He'd been plugging away at the asteroid for a while now, and had gotten fairly confident about the turret. It was a totally different beast than a pain old rifle. There was something intuitive about the system, though, and the controls responded like a dream.

The Wook decided to take a break and let the laser cannons cool down. "Aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh raaaaaahhgh huurh huuguughghg uughghhhgh hnnnhrrhhh?" he asked Kring over the comm. He was excited to work with the pirate, even if it was just a simple snatch and grab. They weren't even after the entire cargo bay. Well, that wasn't their job at least. But that made it a much smoother operation on paper. He just hoped it would translate well to the real world. But why shouldn't it? This was a civilian transport, not military, and civilians didn't like to get in trouble. Further, they were ambushing the transport at a hyperspace waypoint that was rarely patrolled at best. In and out real fast. Nothing to it. In a perfect world.

It also have him an opportunity to work with the pirate and see how he operated on a mission. The Wook had plans bouncing around inside his head for when he became a Vigo, and a pirate in his contacts would be very useful to have.

Kring was concentrating on the control panel in front of him when The Wook’s voice came over the comm. He had been making sure to keep the ship as steady as possible so the wookie could get as clear a shot at the transport as possible.
The ship was easy enough to control, but the slight adjustments in keeping away from every asteroid that came in range were a bit more challenging... not that the pirate wouldn’t keep them safe, but the smaller asteroids had a tendency to impact on the ship’s hull and take off sensor discs if you weren’t careful, and that would not be good if that happened.
Kring grinned, it was like the floating rocks all had minds of their own...
“Everythin’ is ready on my end. We could head to the ambush point now if ya like?” He left the decision up the wookie for now. The Vigo had hired both of them as equal partners, but Kring didn’t personally know the Vigo like The Wook did, which meant the wookie was unofficially in charge of the mission. And it was never wise to tick off a wookie, especially one who has the confidence of a cartel Vigo.

"Your home, Jedha is? A Jedi, you are? Quite young, quite young. Terrible losses, the Jedi have suffered. Comfort, I shall give to the survivors. Too young, you are. Grow, you will. Give you a free sample, I shall." Tryck winked at Ekaj, wondering if the boy even realized what he was saying. He rarely was as generous with his time and skills as he was now, but he figured the Jedi deserved some reprieve from the losses they were taking. As he thought of it, they had already taken a pounding, perhaps now it was time to give one, in a different way. Or take it, whichever, Tryck was flexible. He wouldn't ply his trade on the young one, though, but he would remember Ekaj's face. He WOULD give him a freebie when the time came. Hopefully he was still as cute as he was now.

Ekaj again heard the frog man bring up this idea of giving comfort to the jedi and now him. He was so confused, the order taught a lot but at the time there was a lot it did not teach. Though the wink that followed both made Ekaj nervous and feel really funny. Deep down down Ekaj knew what he was but he could not admit it to him self. Not when he remained him of Master Wyck.

"Jedha is home to more than the jedi. The Jedi do live there but they share it with many others"

Again Ekaj deflected the identity of whether he was a jedi. Not that he did not trust him. He did not trust any who may be listing in.

"so I take it this is your first time to Jedha then?"

Trying to now change the course of the conversation so to make it not about him. Not that he was ashamed. Once they got to Jedha Ekaj would give the strange man a tour of the place. Showing him all the sights and sounds of Jedha.

The Wook slapped the turret lock into place so the guns would not swing around when he got back into place, and powered them down. He did keep power running to the interior, as well as stuff like the targeting and background software so he could bring the guns back quicker when he needed to. "Keeping them warm," was the parlance, as opposed to hot where they were ready to fire at the squeeze of the trigger. He could leave them hot, but it was force of habit to secure his weapons when he wasn't using them that caused him to take the precaution. Nobody else was really around to dick around with the turret, but it never hurt. "Huuguughghg, raaaaaahhgh huuguughghg aaaaahnr huurh aaahnruh awwgggghhh," he said into the comm.

He extricated himself from the turret and made his way to the makeshift armory. It was more like a storage closet that had a keypad juryrigged to it to deter unwanted snooping. He had to wonder who exactly would be snooping around, and then figured that this little operation was not the only plan Specter had in mind for the nerf herder freighter. The keypad was an older model, the one with plastic buttons and a color code rather than newer versions that had actual numbers. Why? Who knew. He wasn't going to question Specter. Maybe it was harder to slice or guess at the combination. Maybe it was easier to remember. The Wook didn't care. This was how things were, and it didn't inconvenience him. He punched in the combo to unlock the storage blue, green, red, blue, blue, green and the keypad beeped quietly to announce the code had been accepted. A metallic chunk sounded as the deadbolt retracted.

Inside he found himself looking at an admittedly meager weapons cache. There were a few choices for both lethal and non-lethal, but nothing really in the way of heavy weaponry. He did grab the security spike tunneler, a piece of expensive equipment that Specter had promised would get them through the outer door if the flight crew decided they didn't want to open up. It also beat blowing in the door and then venting everyone into space when they disconnected after. Piracy was kinda frowned on in "civilized" systems, but piracy where everyone died was even worse and would make things annoying for him in the future. He picked up two concussion grenades and slid them into a stuff sack that could hold several more if he wanted. But this was a civilian transport, not military, so two were probably overkill already. He also grabbed a stun baton, which he clipped onto his belt, and a doowop stun rifle. If someone thought they could be a hero, then he could ensure that they would spend the rest of the flight sleeping off the urge.

"Awwgggghhh uugggh uughghhhgh aarrragghuuhw huurh aaaaahnr," he said into his mouthpiece. "Aarrragghuuhw aarrragghuuhw uughghhhgh raaaaaahhgh huurh hnnnhrrhhh," he muttered to himself, eager to this operation done.

“Just let me set course and I’ll be back there ta see what ya found.” Kring said as he finalized entering the coordinates into the nav computer. It ain’t like dustin’ crops he remembered... his old captain used to tell him stuff like that whenever he was teaching him about piloting.
Kring involuntarily touches his left arm... the memory of losing it was a painful lesson on how not to disrespect a captain. Luckily Kring got back into the captains’s good graces and thus his new cybernetic arm was the result.
Pushing the memory aside he activated the ship’s hyperdrive and the ship responded smoothly.
Satisfied they were on their way, the pirate got up and headed to where the wookie was.
“An armory of sorts I take it?” Kring asked. “When you’re done I’ll have me a look.” He leaned up against the bulkhead, folded his arms and patiently waited for the wookie to finish up getting the gear he wanted.

He was seated at the opposing side of the passage and had heard every word "Excuse me Sir!" I would shout at the frog like being "Keep away from him, he is still a kid! Can you not search for someone with an appropriate age to offer him your sick and deranged service!" He shook his head "You are ill man! Stand up and search for another seat or I will make you stand up!" Normally he would keep calm, but this stranger was definitely sending out some creepy vibes that just enraged him. Of course he was no where near as angered as he appeared. He just wanted to raise awareness about the sick lizard and the best way to do this was by putting on a show.

Kring's sudden eagerness upon mention of an armory made The Wook chuckled to himself as he awkwardly slid his large frame into the gunner's seat. When he owned his own ship, he'd have it modified so everything was sized appropriately. He keyed the comm. "Huuguughghg uuh huuguughghg, uughghhhgh aaaaahnr aarrragghuuhw aaaaahnr uughguughhhghghghhhgh, huuguughghg raaaaaahhgh uugggh uughghhhgh hnnnhrrhhh uughghhhgh wrrhw raaaaaahhgh," he said. The blue and white whorls of hyperspace travel danced outside the turret view, but he paid the scenery no attention. Instead, he fired up a game of Rancor Kong on his datapad. It was a fun game to pass the time, he was discovering, although he had yet to make it up the final turbolift without getting flattened.

While the pirate perused the armory for a beautiful gun, The Wook navigated the little human character (why were the main characters always human?) between ship decks. He hopped over a plasteel container, went up a turbolift, then halfway back down to avoid another container. He popped up again after the container had passed and moved along the deck to the next lift. Another container came and he growled. The character wasn't fast enough to outrun it, and he couldn't get the hang of how to jump over the damn things.

The container flattened his character because humans were too weak to live when a plasteel container bumped into them. This was a stupid game. Who actually beat the thing? He switched to a different game. Were they there yet?

Kring looked over the make-shift armory and chose a couple of weapons... The choices weren't spectacular but they would suffice in a pinch and should do nicely for the current job. Beside the blaster pistol on his hip, he chose a short vibro-knife that he stuck into the leg of his right boot, as well as a long vibro-blade complete with sheath, that he attached to his belt. He also took a couple of flash grenades just for kicks and giggles.
From where he stood he could hear the nav computer beeping, indicating that their destination was rapidly approaching. Getting back to the cock-pit he sat down and punched a few buttons, "We are comin' out of hyperspace now." he said over the com. "Get ready."
The stars stopped streaking by as Kring took the ship out of hyper-space. Empty space welcomed them... Kring checked the coordinates and nodded. The perfect place for an ambush... the transport would have to come out of hyper-space and readjust its course, and this was the spot where that would happen. Kring grinned, the Vigo knows his stuff that's for sure. The pirate checked the scanners and then alerted The Wook, "We are at the coordinates the Vigo gave us. The transport should be coming out of hyper-space any moment."

"Ladies and gentlemen of flight seventeen seventeen to Tattooine, this is your captain speaking, We'll be taking off shortly and should enjoy a nice calm flight to Tattooine, be sure your checked baggage has been loaded and that any and all weaponry has been checked with a Blackrow staffer. Thank you for flying Blackrow.." Raz said into the onboard intercom system, as he began to initiate go flight procedure and lifted the vessel from its parking location and made for the stars. The passengers of this flight were in for a surprise once they realized Tattooine was not going to be the destination of this ship. Within a half of an hour of take off. While mid hyperspace, the entirety of the crew had been replaced by Raz's men, and only an hour or so later the passengers fell hostage to the violent take over spearheaded by Raz and his men.

The passengers of the ship would be dumped off unharmed in the swamps of Nar Shaadda, bereft of their possessions unless they resisted which might cause them to share a fate with the handful of Blackrow Starlines employees.
