Location: Takodana
___There was often a sense of quiet and tranquillity in the temple on Takodana. The peaceful atmosphere was calming and revitalizing, providing a place of solace and reflection. This serenity was also reflected in the gentle sway of the temple's towering trees, providing a restful and calming ambience. It was the ideal place to instruct someone in the ways of the Force, and that was why Rena had chosen it for her meeting with another young Padawan.
___With a sigh, Rena lowered herself onto the stone bench, propping her crutch against it before laying her hands on her lap. Leaning against the backboard, the woman closed her eyes and rested her head against it. Her breathing steadied as she focused on the innate power and feeling of the Force surrounding her, permeating everything and everyone at the temple. Amid Rena's meditation, a familiar presence hopped and flitted among the trees before diving toward her. With a gentle flutter of wings, a small bird landed on her knee and chirped up at her, demanding her attention.
___"Not today, Arcturus," Rena said, her eyes opening and her head lifting to look down at the small avian. A thin smile creased her lips. "I didn't bring you anything today." The bird twittered indignantly. "I know, it's positively awful. I'll bring you extra next time, okay?" she finished, lifting her hand to stroke the creature's head with a thin finger.
