Description
The Flying V is a modified YX-940 Star Transport and the personal ship of Jedi Padawan Jace Darklighter.
The Flying V began life as a stock YX-940 that was acquired by Jace upon joining the Byblos defense fleet. Jace took inspiration from the formation he had been taught in flight school and the distinct shape of the ship to christen it the Flying V. At the time the ship was in a state of near disrepair and it took the pilot close to a year and a half to get it back to flying condition. Working on a limited budget and even more limited free time, Jace has yet to make any enhancements to the ship, getting it fully functional and giving it a fresh paint job are the limits of the changes made to the ship since he first acquired it. Since leaving Byblos to join the Jedi Order the ship has served as a home away for both Jace and his droid Beanie.
Legality
Legal. YX-940 freighters are a common sight across the Galaxy, and they are considered innocuous enough in most systems. Customized examples may draw slightly more scrutiny from authorities, however.
