Mon Calamari, also known as Dac, was the Mon Calamari homeworld. The oceanic planet was generally a neutral planet, with most of its conflicts being planetbound between the Mon Calamari and Quarren, and little with outside interference.
That had changed when the Hutts gained control of Dac. The Hutts plundered resources from the seawide planet, occassionally enslaving natives as pets or as test subjects, though 'officially', there was no slavery occurring.
The reign of the Hutts had brought on the construction of the Pacifer-class space station Clypsydra. While it claimed to be a medical station and pit stop, it was actually a research laboratory. The base was under the control of two Mon Calamari: Head Researcher Dr. Gial Rotramel and Commander Timi Gahan.

Lately, the Clepsydra had been developing a serum that would damage the midi-chlorians in a sentient's body. Unfortunately, tests were not going well. Emperor Tusa the Hutt was getting impatient. There were rumors spreading across Dac of the secret purpose of the Clepsydra due to a leak by one of the workers; Gahan had made sure to deal with the traitor personally.
In Rotramel's private lounge, the good doctor sat at a desk, working. With a page from his secretary, Rotramel allowed Gahan to enter the lounge. The purple-skinned Mon Calamari took a seat.
"Tusa's getting impatient," reported Gahan. "Workers are concerned they might be punished for failure. It doesn't help that Sirberius the Hutt is rumored to be on his way."
"We will succeed," said Rotramel. "I've enlisted the help of several researchers to help. They should be arriving soon on the next ship."
"Let us hope you are right."
Rotramel glanced up from the file that he was reading. "There's some very influential people on that ship, Dr. Valentine Lockhart of Terminal among them. I want you to greet him personally."
Gahan groaned and stood up. "Understood."

A Scythe-class cruiser docked against the Clepsydra. A few dozen passengers exited the cruiser while about two dozen boarded the cruiser. Gahan didn't recognize any of them. Consulting the picture of Valentine Lockhart that Rotramel had provided, Gahan scanned the crowd for any signs of the doctor. Finally, he spotted the blue-haired man enter the room. Gahan pulled Valentine over to the side.
"Dr. Rotramel would like to send his thanks for agreeing to come here," said Gahan. "I do apologize he could not meet with you in person. He has been busy as of late."
"I guessed as much, considering the urgency he was telling me about," said Doc Love, Valentine Lockhart's nickname. He fished out a keycard from his pocket. "I've already booked a room. I'll go there first to clean myself up before meeting with Dr. Rotramel if you don't mind."
"Shall I escourt you there?" inquired Commander Gahan.
"No, I'm fine."
With a farewell, Doc Love returned to the steady stream of passengers. After a couple minutes, the dock was empty again, almost chilling. Strangely, though, the ramp doors weren't closing. Gahan walked to a nearby consule and hailed the Scythe-class cruiser.
"Kali, do you read?" said Gahan to the mic. "The passengers are clear. You may close the doors."
Static was the only answer Scythe-class cruiser Kali provided.
Something's wrong, thought Gahan.
From the ramp, Gahan heard a bloodchilling scream. The Mon Calamari commander raced through the ramp into the Kali. The boarding station was deserted. Another scream pointed Gahan to the source of the distress. When he turned a corner, he was horrified.
A Mon Calamari officer was laying on the floor, barely able to breathe and produce any more screams. A humanoid sat on the Mon Calamari, feasting on the dying officer's body. Gahan struggled to not hurl.
The humanoid sensed Gahan and turned its head. Blood dripped from its mouth. It stood up and charged at Gahan. Gahan was reaching for his gun when the thing bit into his neck...

The pitter patter of William's feet echoed through the halls as he made his way to Kali's docking bay doors. It wasn't hard to find, he found a large mob waiting for the doors to open in a large hall. He had taken the Kali to Clepsydra to learn more about what the "midi-chlorian rumor" was all about. He had heard pilots, travelers, and traders on Naboo talk about it every once in a while.

He was a little nervous, but didn't make it obvious. He was used to going places completely alone with no one to accompany him, but this wasn't Naboo. He knew his way around Naboo like the back of his hand, but not this big ship. Not this "Clepsydra" that was apparently tampering with midi-chlorians. Also, he could feel that something...bad was going to happen. And his feelings were usually right. But he couldn't turn back, he had already come too far.

The doors opened, at which time the mob poured out like water being released from a dam. And at the same time, people waiting to get on the cruiser made their way inside, zippering in and out of eachother's way. Being too small to be seen, Will got several bumps and shoves from the other passengers, accidentally of course. He shook everything off and kept walking, until he noticed something happen out of the corner of his eye.

Already afraid that his bad feeling was proving to be correct, he turned swiftly to face whatever was happening close to him. William sighed as he noticed a Mon Calamari pulling a blue-haired man out of the crowd. He shook his head and laughed quietly to himself. Scardy cat. he called himself as he took a deep breathe and pressed onward, now towards the back of the huge crowd that was boarding Clepsydra.

He followed the crowd down the halls, taking several turns and a few sets of stairs until he got the feeling again. He stopped in his tracks, grabbing his chest as the crowd began to pull away from him. This time, the feelings came through him with intense strength and more furiousity. Something's wrong... Suddenly, he felt it happen! He turned around violently, hoping his senses were incorrect. They weren't.

A scream ripped through the halls, sending a shiver up the boy's spine. He couldn't see anyone behind him, and the crowd had already dissapeared down the long hall towards the right. He couldn't move, fear kept him glued to the spot he currently stood at. Run you idiot! You have to find out what's going on! his mind begged his body to take action. But he couldn't do it. His fear kept him warry, and he dare not go towards the screams until he knew for sure what waited for him down there.

Agreoran stepped from his room, realizing it was time to set things in motion. The mission was simple enough, and no one would be foolish enough to step up to two Luminado generals. "I'm in place, Sakaki," he said over a small comlink. He kept his lightsaber ready in case something went wrong and things started to get out of hand. He began to walk down the hall until he noticed a young man frozen in place, most likely from the scream he heard.

"You gonna just stand there or what?" He said. Whether it had any significant meaning to him, Agreoran cared not. He continued on his way towards the action to analyze the results, and report. There was a chance Lane might've decided to get involved, but he didn't really stop to find out. He didn't have the time.

As the Count of Svivren, he should've been in his office filing and doing other political work, but he found the job boring at times. After all, his first alliegence was to the Luminado. It was only after the self-proclaimed Senator was assassinated that he was nominated by Lane, and he was a general in the mercenaries to begin with. He would gladly work with his home organization over the political bullshit that followed representing a planet.

"Now let's hope we don't get any surprises," he said to himself.

William turned around quickly at the sound of someone speaking to him, his hand eager to grab his lightsaber and turn it on. It was only a man, several years older than the young boy. The man's question rang in the boy's head as the human walked past him and towards the screams.

"He's right. You can't just sit here, Will." he said quietly to himself, trying to think about what to do. Since it looked like someone was already going to figure out what was happening down the hall, William felt it was reasonable for him to go the opposite way. Besides, he wouldn't do any good if he went and got himself killed.

Going in the opposite direction that the man had went, William jogged down the corridor, passing several turns and doorways that led to a few staircases. One of which caught Will's attention. It was the only door that was fully closed and had a lock on it. The boy frowned as he felt that whatever laid behind this door was something that was meant to be kept a secret.

"What are you getting yourself into, Will?" he asked himself as he used force telekinesis to bypass the lock and pull the door open. Past the door was of course a stair case leading downward into a spiral. The boy followed it to the bottom where the lighting had seemed to have needed some maintanence, for there was hardly any light down there at all.

William didn't like it. He was in a dark room with several desks set across the room, several vials of liquid and tubes spread out on top of them. They looked like samples of something that scientists might of been testing or inspecting. Will paid it no mind, positive that none of it would lead him to any information on the midi-chlorian rumor.

He walked to the end of the long room to find a door, unlocked and slightly cracked. Hoping that no one was inside, the boy slowly pushed the door opened and went in. His hopes were cut to pieces as he spotted a Mon Calamari sitting comfortably in a black chair.

William felt emberessed. He came down expecting a secret laboratory, but all he found was a harmless Mon Calamari sitting in his lounge. He didn't know quite what to say, and he was sure the alien would ask him to leave, or at least how he got down into the lounge.

"Oh uh, sorry. Took a wrong turn I guess."

Rotramel was getting impatient. Doc Love hadn't arrived yet and Gahan was late. Not good.
As he was pondering what to do next, a human entered his office. The boy seemed surprised to see someone inside and apologized.
"Get out of here," snapped Rotramel.
Before the human could leave, a Mon Calamari barged in the office, pushing the human aside.
"Dr. Rotramel, we have a problem," reported the newcomer. "We've lost contact with Kali."
"What?!" exclaimed Rotramel. "Send a team to investigate. And while you're at it, look for that incompetent commander while you're at it!"
The newcomer fled the office. Rotramel then remembered that the human was still there.

"Should be easy from here," he said, kneeling down next to the wall. He held a small device in his hand which was a bioscanner. It would scan the cellular complexities of any creature that crossed its beam. With this, he would be able to scan the 'zombies' and study the virus and its commplexities. He was distracted by shouting from behind, though. He turned to see a troop of mon calamari passing by him towards the docking bay. No doubt a comrade of theirs fell and they were there to assess the situation.

"****," he swore as one of the pieces didn't cooperate. It was easier to assemble a starfighter than attach this mayhem together. He finally got it together and attached it to the wall in a small corner where it wouldn't get knocked down or kicked. He flipped the switch and walked towards the crowd again. Perhaps the two-bit pistol jockeys managed to survive the entorauge of undead flesh-eating demons. He doubted it though.

Just as William had expected, the Calamari ordered him out without a moments hesistation. A little taken aback by the Calamari's firm orders, he turned quickly to leave only to be pushed aside by another Calamari. William listened closely as he explained to the so called "Dr. Rotramel" about Kali's communication problems. Then he left once the Calamari sitting in the chair ordered reinforcements. And once again, William was left alone with the fishy being. And he had no intentions of leaving.

"What's happening here, Doctor? Something has gone wrong...hasn't it? I'm not leaving till you at least explain what is going on here. Mabye I can help!"

Of course, William wasn't completely honest about wanting to help. He would aid anyone in danger if he could, but it was for them, not for the Calamari Doctor. And he knew if there was anyone to get more information from reguarding the situation or the midi-chlorian rumor, Rotramel was it.

"I don't have to say anything, civilian," spat Rotramel, saying the last word as if it was a disease.
Rotramel was about to contact security when he noticed the lightsaber peaking out of William's cloak.
"Jedi!" accused Rotramel. Then his face drained. "No, the Jedi don't belong here. That means you're a...a... a Bogan!" He stood up and kneeled at William's knees. "I know I'm behind schedule but please don't kill me," the Mon Calamari pleaded. He grabbed William by the ankles. As he continued to sob, Rotramel grabbed the lightsaber and pulled it out of William's pocket.
"Ha!" mocked Rotramel. "The Hutts claim the Bogan are all that yet I was able to disarm you so easily. Tell your masters that I will complete the poison. Once that's complete, you'll be able to strip those Jedi scum of their powers. So please give me more time." He said 'please' in a mocking manner.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
S-fan walked down the halls of Kali. The only noise was a far off moaning.
"I better get to Clepsydra before they decide to blow up the Kali," mumbled S-fan.
S-fan hurried towards the Clepsydra's dock.

OOC: Shouldn't be too hard to reverse the situation, since if you have another lightsaber, you can use that, or you can use the Force to steal the lightsaber back.

When Rotramel spoke about the "poisen" all William could think of was the midi-chlorian problem. The doctor must of had something to do with it. Maybe I can actually get some useful information from this guy... With all of this information buzzing through his head, he wasn't paying attention to his senses as the Mon Calamari drew close and stole his lightsaber.

William remained still, silent, and calm. He had no worries of retrieving his saber. He could snatch it back from the wretched doctor's hands in the blink of an eye. But it would have to wait. Apparently the Calamari was under the impression that Will could quite possibly be a Bogan. He had heard of them before and knew they were a bunch of force sensative beings that many people were afraid of. Perhaps Rotramel would be a little more willing to cooperate if he reall believed William was one of them. He decided to see if he could get lucky.

Will's hands turned into a closed fist as anger burned up in his face, his hands glowing slightly as the force began to flow through him. "Do you mock me, Doctor?" his voice grew very quiet and hateful as he began to walk towards the fish-like creature. "I came here pretending to be unknowing of the situation to see your progress for myself. It had to be this way, you see, because if you knew I was coming you might have actually gotten your work done. It's amazing how people act behind their masters' backs when they don't think they are watching."

The boy's eyes stared deeply within Rotramel, cutting at him like blades as he continued to play his part. "Now hear this, Doctor. Whether you believe me Jedi, Bogan, or a harmless little boy, you will continue your work and complete it as soon as possible if you wish to continue breathing. And you better hurry. Because I'm not giving you anymore time, and you're running out of what you already have."

"U-Understood," stammered Rotramel. He forfeited the lightsaber back to its owner. "The last Bogan had me give a tour of the Clepsydra. Am I to assume that I am to do the same for you? Personally I wished they had sent the one from last time. I hate giving tours."

"Now what's this? A poison? I heard Mon Calamari can be sneaky pups, but didn't think they'd go as far to work for a Bogan, that is, if you are one," Agreoran said with a half-smile. He had heard the bulk of the conversation when he was making his way back down the hall after setting up the scanner. He used the force to dampen the sounds from his footsteps and listened to the talk about poisons. He could sense that there was a chance this one he'd run into earlier wasn't Bogan, as he didn't feel any anger or darkness in his heart at that time. He was something more peaceful.

"Though, if you are, forgive me. I'm merely a spectator. Oh, and before you tell me to piss off, My organization has a contract with the Hutts, which also means we've contact with the Bogan. Don't think I'll simply ignore it and let you have extra time. I don't like bad businessmen. So far, as I understand, you're just that," he said sternly. He was completely honest without revealing his identity or purpose there. He didn't have to. His lightsaber would do his talking if it came down to it.

"I hate Bogan!" yelled Rotramel.
A siren went off. Rotramel rushed to his consule. A voice informed the director that the Kali's engines were firing while still docked to the Clepsydra.
"Not good," panicked Rotramel. "If the ramp is still connected when they take off, it could ruin the Clepsydra's interior. Gahan, if you can hear me, stop them!"
There was no reply from Gahan, nor the dock crew. Rotramel let out a curse.
"I'll deal with you later," said Rotramel. "For now I need to deal with this mess."
Rotramel walked out of his office and towards the dock.

Immediately, Agreoran pulled the doctor back with a force grip. "That would be incredibly stupid. I'd suggest staying here and finishing your work. I'll go and take care of this. Oh, and before you even think of crossing me, I am more than capable of dispatching you," he said firmly. He needed to head out there anyways to meet up with the other Luminado attending this mission, assuming he was still nearby.

"Remeber, cross the Bogan, it's your life. I'm merely attempting to save it." He began to walk towards the deck instead of the doctor. He cared not whether the other young man followed him or not.

"Sakaki, are you there?" He said into his comlink when he was far enough away from them.

William retrieved his saber from Rotramel and happily placed it back on it belt. And he was about to reply to the Calamari's question when someone began to speak from behind. It surprised William due to the fact that he had not heard anyone enter the next room over, but this new presence wasn't a problem. He was even more surprised to find that it was the man from before in the hallway.

He watched silently as the man spoke about his alliance with the Hutts. Could be a problem if they found out who William really was. Just a kid with a curiousity problem. But they wouldn't find out, he was sure of it. He had gone this far already without much trouble, how hard could it be to keep up his good luck?

In no time, the man was running off towards the dock when he heard him call out a name. "Sakaki." William again was curious but would have to worry about all of that later. He had business to attend to with the Calamari.

"Now...how about that tour?" Will asked with a grin as he continued to play the part of a Bogan.

Rotramel groaned. "You Bogan make no sense."
Rotramel led William out of his office. They walked for a while until they reached a dead end. Rotramel fiddled with a heater, when a secret passage revealed itself. The Mon Calamari frowned.
"Something's not right," he said, looking at the deserted hallway. "Normally there's a sentry posted at the entrance."
Someone screamed inside.

Without even thinking, William reacted to the scream. A blade of green glowing light was brought to life as he held his lightsaber close, lighting up the hallway. Will put a finger to his lips, motioning for Rotramel to keep quiet as he slowly began to walk into the hallway. The echoes of the screaming still filled the hallway, making Will shiver as he led the way into the dark hallway.

"Where does this lead?" he said turning to Rotramel, keeping his saber prepared for battle. He meant to use it as intimidation for anyone or anything that might be watching or might of caused the screaming. He normaly ignited his saber only when in dire need, but he wanted to be ready for anything coming from withint the hallway.

"Lead the way Rotramel. I'll ensure you do not come to harm."

"It leads to the main lab," said Rotramel. "There's two entries into the lab: here and another near the hangar for deliveries."
Rotramel led the way into the secret laboratory. The walk was not long to reach the research laboratory. The lab was in shambles. Bodies littered the floor. Blood flooded the tile. Carnage was everywhere.
"What the ******* is going on?!" exclaimed Rotramel.
"Dr. Rotramel?" inquired a nervous voice.
A table crunched in the corner popped out, revealing a Lamia behind it. The scientist, whom Rotramel identified as Barrel, explained that when "zombies" attacked the lab, he hid behind the table while his comrades were devoured.
"Where are they now?" Rotramel clarified what he was asking, "The zombies."
"They entered the residential ward," informed Barrel.
Rotramel swore. "The majority of the people can be accessed via the residential ward. We need to quarantine the place. The control room is our best shot." Clepsydra's director pointed to an elevator behind Barrel. "That maintenance elevator should cut the time to reach the control room."
Barrel swung around and pushed a button. A ding trumpeted the arrival of the elevator. The doors opened to free a mass of zombies that had been crammed into the elevator. Barrel didn't stand a chance. The zombies were all over him, ripping him apart piece by piece.
"Dammit!" cursed Rotramel. "There goes another."
A zombie looked up from his feast, noticing the other non-zombies. Rotramel began to back up.
"I think we better get out of here," whispered Rotramel.
Rotramel made a break for the exit. Once he was free, he shut the door and locked it.

OOC: Your choice if Will was locked in or Rotramel waited for Will to exit the lab first.

Agreoran had made his way to the residential ward to keep watch over the 'zombies.' They were an ugly bunch, mutilated corpses with nothing more than animalistic senses to keep them going. Eat and walk. Eat and walk. It was simple, yet effective in their case. The zombies could come out of anywhere and attack at any time. In these situations, it was smart to keep a weapon on you at all times.

He then noticed something; a girl who was trapped in a corner. The zombies hadn't noticed her yet, and most likely wouldn't until she made a move or sound. She was a pretty girl, and he couldn't let something like that go to waste. He decided to make the move.

He jumped down in the middle of the swarming pack of mindless cannibals. None of them seemed to care, like he expected. They wouldn't attack him if something went wrong, and so far, nothing had gone wrong. He placed the scanner for his own experiments, and now this. The girl he was going to rescue was a very pretty one, he started to notice. Her face was like that of an angel, with a figure to die for. He made his way over to her, pushing the brainless zombies out of the way. They didn't care.

"Take my hand, miss. Let me get you out of here," he said, holding his hand out. She still didn't make a sound, but looked around at the rest of the zombies, and then grabbed his hand. He pulled her close, admiring the softness of her skin, and then jumped to a safe ledge where the monsters couldn't get to them.

"They didn't attack you... Are you behind this?" She asked.

"No, I'm not. I've been wondering who is thought," he lied. He wasn't a jedi, so his conscious wasn't effected.

"Oh. Well, thank you for saving me," she said. She laid her head on his chest and wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her back. Her skin was so soft...

Sakaki ran down a corridor. He had been chasing down an injured Mon Calamari for some time now. First, he had encountered him on the Kali and now the man wandered the chaotic halls of the escape pods. The Lamia hadn't heard any noise of an escape pod jetissoning so the Mon Calamari was still nearby.
Sakaki was carefully tip-toeing when he heard an escape pod door open. The Lamia ran to the source of the noise. To his disappointment, the escape pod was empty.
"Die, vampire!" spat the voice.
Sakaki turned to look at the Mon Calamari.
Gahan fired his blaster.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the zombie bit Gahan in the neck, Gahan had taken his vibroknife out of his pocket and stabbed the zombie in the head. Cerebral injury had been effective, killing the zombie.
Nursing the wound to his neck, Gahan had reached the Kali's bridge, to find the crew dead. Gahan typed in codes that would isolate the Kali from the Clepsydra, not realizing quarantine had been broken. He had then hurried to the ramp as to prevent being trapped inside. On the way, he had encountered an energy vampire, a Lamia. Luckily, he managed to shut a door and lock it, though the Lamia used his lightsaber to burn a hole. Gahan fled the Kali, reaching the hangar, encountering the carnage. His first thought was to escape, so he headed for the escape pods.
Once he reached the escape pods, a chilling thought filled his mind: the energy vampire was nearby. He'd not be able to escape in time, so Gahan plotted to ambush the Lamia. When the Lamia reached the open escape pod, Gahan would shoot everything he had.
The plan seemed to carry out beautifully, until Sakaki ignited his lightsaber telekinetically to block the bullets.
The Lamia ignited another lightsaber and shot it at the Mon Calamari. The lightsaber impaled Gahan in the chest. The commander fell to the ground. He reached into his pocket.
I shall carry out my duty to the end, Dr. Rotramel, promised Gahan.
Gahan activated the thermal dentonator. The explosion incinerated the Mon Calamari. The blast launched Sakaki into the open escape pod. Flames damaged the controls, prematurely shooting the escape pod, the door automatically closing, into space.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The zombies had been ordered by their master, Sakaki, to leave the Luminado agents alone. However, Sakaki was now out of range.
A hungry zombie looked out Agreoran and the girl, and growled. Mouth open, it charged at them.

[OOC: Agreoran is joining this thread, not Lane. lol. Sorry for the mix up.]

Agreoran turned and stood as soon as the zombie growled at him and the girl. the ****? They aren't supposed to attack me... he thought to himself. He ignited his blue lightsaber and sliced the monsters' head off. The girl screamed as more zombies clammered in from behind them. He saw one of the tables down below and picked it up using the force, throwing it at the zombies and crushing them instantly.

"C'mon!" He yelled to the girl. She took his hand and stayed close to him. They began to run towards the zombies that were charging at him. Agreoran threw his lightsaber, decapitating them with its spinning blade, then catching it again. The zombies down below let out roars and cries, notifying others that they had spotted new meat on the run.

When he got to a safe room, he locked the door behind them and kept his eyes on the one in front of them. "Shit! That was too close," he said. The girl softly grabbed his arm and looked him in the eyes, searching him with her crystal blue eyes. He couldn't help but stare back.

"I want you to be honest with me, because two of my closest friends were in there and I watched them get mutilated and eaten by cannibals," she said with tears forming in her eyes. "Can you control those zombies?" Agreoran couldn't. He didn't have the biological uplink that kept them on a leash. But Sakaki did.

"No. I couldn't. But I was supposed to be safe from them. I'm from an organization called Luminado. Our mission here is a secret one. Once I saw you... I couldn't let you die," he said, being honest with her. He knew what the next part was.

"I..." She started as tears began to fall. "I forgive you." Agreoran didn't expect that. "Not because of anything more than you saved my life, showing me the same compassion I show on others," she said. Agreorans' eyes widened. He heard that before from a member of the Sol Sect.

"Are you a member of Sol Sect?" He asked.

"I'm Ayela, mother compassion," she replied. It didn't make sense as to why a council member was there, but he was glad he saved her. "And I know who you are, Count Agreoran."

There was a pause before he said anything, but he then brought his comlink up to his mouth. "Sakaki, where the hell are you?" He asked. He then turned back to her. "Why didn't you kill any of those zombies?"

"It's not our way," she said naively.

"Baby, there's a room full of zombies and you want to show compassion on them? Here's something to ease your guilt when you're chopping their heads off; they're already dead."
