Sythe watched as his force attack connected with the Droid, but his greater prize would be the scalp of a Jedi.

His piercing eyes shifted towards the opponent wielding the green lightsaber and Sythe dashed towards him to close the distance. His yellow eyes focused on the Jedi's movement, he saw the blaster bolt ring out at a distance of approximately 7 meters between the two.
Defensively sliding downwards, knees bent as he adjusted his blade to hit and deflect the blaster bolt back towards the Jedi's neck and head region.
Immediately, in one singular fluid motion, Sythe used his free hand to send a throwing knife at the Jeid's unarmored and unprotected groin area.
The multitude of attacks would prove to be very difficult for the Jedi to effectively defend against, allowing at least one to hit their mark. If the knife hit, the pain would be excruciating and cause a permanent limp.

The morning sun began to rise, and dimly lit the battlefield before him, the figures before him began to take shape, as did the environment around them. To the west, he saw one of the speeders, about 30 meters to the West, on a hill, where Sythe had left it. Moving quickly, enough to close a distance of about 15 meters, while reloading a fresh power cell into his repeater, before using his jumpjets to close a nigh instantaneous 10 meters, placing him at the base of the hill, and landing with a roll, sprinting the rest of the way up the shallow incline.

Once he made it to the speeder, and hit the ignition switch, Q'san slung his repeater over his shoulder, and drew one of his pistols, before tearing down the hill behind Sythe, and circumvented Devrim's cover, and fired three bolts from his pistol as he passed, between Sythe and Devrim, keeping a good five meters between him and Devrim, placing him half way between the Jedi and the Droid, before re-positioning himself behind them, and back about 15 meters, keeping mobile, and lining up for shots with the speeder's own mounted medium blaster.

The sun began to rise, cresting the horizon and sending streams of light over the battlefield. Though it was likely quite a beautiful sight, Devrim couldn't stop to watch — there was a fight to win and Imperials to drive from Al'doleem. As Sythe dashed forward toward he barrel of the Jedi's blaster, he must not have realized the model of the pistol. It was in fact a Quickdraw, which fired a two-shot burst. While the Sith deflected one bolt, the other slammed into his unprotected chest. The result of such a wound would be nearly fatal — Sythe would more than likely black out from the sheer agony of the impact. If he wasn't dead, then Sythe would absolutely need immediate medical attention if he were to live. As the Sith was struck while mid-deflecting the first blaster shot, he would be unable to complete the action of throwing the knife. With his lightsaber already held diagonally across his chest, Devrim raised it the small distance he needed to, deflecting the returning blaster bolt into the air.

Looking northward to see the Imperial Agent running up the hill, the Jedi had a moment to prepare and holster his pistol as Qsan got into the speeder and started it up. Realizing what the Agent was about to do, Devrim drew the Force within himself and created a concentrated ball of telekinetic energy within his hands. As Qsan drove straight toward Devrim at an incredibly fast speed, he released the pent-up energy in a devastating blast toward the speed. With a wide area of effect and as both the blast and the speeder were moving immensely fast, it would be difficult for the Imperial to dodge such an attack. It would meet the speeder halfway between the Northwest and the Southwest hilltops, long before Qsan had the chance to shoot with his pistol. With the Force burst being powerful enough to shatter rock, if it connected with the speeder it would likely cause the vehicle to simply crumple and explode. In case the Imperial managed to somehow stay on the speeder and continue his attack, Devrim held up his lightsaber across his body defensively, as he had done previously.

Visibility made all the difference in combat. With the dawn sun cresting the horizon, H5PAD had every indication of the mercenary’s intentions. The first indication was the throwing motion from the mercenary’s right arm. This was not something that could be disguised or could be rushed in order to be accurate with the throw. It was the instant of recognizing that motion and seeing the grenade leave his hand that H5PAD redirected to the right, planting his foot in the ground, instead of continuing to veer to the left. The throw was doomed to not be a very accurate one due to the mercenary still under the effects of the concussion grenade and trying to accurately throw a grenade while lying on the ground. Instead of putting him in the grenade’s intended blast radius, the movement would place him behind the closest tree to the right. Cover was interspersed on the battlefield, so even though it was not dense, it was available with even a modicum of movement.

Seeing the trajectory of the grenade right before he redirected his course, the droid had time to snap off two shots from his Lullaby pistol right before he slid behind the tree for cover. With the mercenary prone and not moving, he was an easy target. With his only actions being the throw of a grenade and pulling his pistol, it would be nearly impossible to avoid the shots heading towards him. The shots were quick, so the spread was tight with a shot aimed for his upper right arm and one shot in the exposed torso. Even though the droid was moving, his target was immobile. The mercenary would be unable to move with a useless left arm and with his upper body weight all on his back due to the right hand pulling a blaster pistol.

With cover and medium armor, the assassin droid was not as concerned with being slightly exposed to the shrapnel that would come from the explosion. The grenade exploded. Shrapnel sprayed through the air and pelted the droid. Although the tree took a good bit of the blast, the shrapnel ripped into his unprotected lower leg. The diagnostics assessed for the droid that his left leg was suffering some operational slowdown at the knee due to the explosion.

Although a portion of the blast hit the droid, he was no standing in cover, now ready to respond to the mercenary should he somehow survive again and also with his head on a swivel keeping track of the speeder heading his direction.

Given the excellent maneuvering characteristics of the 88-V Ranger, and Q'san's unhindered line of sight on Devrim, Q'san was in fact, able to avoid the worst of the Force Blast, with a sharp turn to the left, being clipped by the outermost portion of the Area of Effect, being pushed further left, and forced to skid, though Q'san wa able to bank upwards, as the Landspeeder could fly at a maximum altitude of five meters, to avoid debris, and circumvent Devrim's cover, as he got closer, aiming and firing with the vehicle mounted blaster, a pair of bolts firing at his center mass, from about 20 meters away, and at the highest possible angle of five meters, as he flew by, at about 111 kilometers per hour, or 180 miles per hour. As Q'san kept mobile, it would prove difficult to deflect the bolt back.

This damned droid was persistent, he had to give him that much. For a machine construct to wield such conviction was unusual though perhaps he thought that maybe the alliance had augmented it with their Jedi magics. The mercenary had the advantage, he was the one countering the aggression of this engagement, he had a more accurate blaster, and of course had the benefit of reacting to the Droid not vice-versa. So as the Droid dashed rightward, Markus had his blaster barrel already aimed at the Droid in preparation for the machine to conjure a feasible counter to his grenade. The Droid was likely operating beyond functional capacity. Able to react instantly to a grenade thrown, re-direct a leftward advance with rightward movement, and being able to fire off the Lullaby with its high recoil and decreased accuracy. Such movements would take two to three seconds perhaps. It wasn't an eternity but it was enough for the Pantoran to make his defense.

Markus unloaded four shots upon the alliance droid, a wicked smile came to his face as he saw the first bolt connect into the Droid's unprotected chest as its armor had already been damaged by prior injuries. However, his joy was short lived as he realized he had left himself vulnerable. One of the heavy bolts came crashing in at the same injured shoulder as before. He let out a loud roar as his arm nearly got torn off; blood, muscle, and nerve endings slithering around with exposed bone. Luckily the burn from the blaster bolt cauterized the wound preventing excessive blood loss. However, the pain from the injury and the sheer impact hurled him onto his back.

Well, if at least this week had been eventful. As he lay on the ground, slowly drifting into unconsciousness from the injury, he wondered just one thing: When would he be able to see his Twilek stripper girlfriend...

Sythe stumbled backwards as the second bolt from the Jedi's blaster hit him square in the chest.
He had done pretty well up to that point in the battle, but at the last second, didn't realize just what kind of weapon the Jedi had...
As the pain ripped through his body, he fell to his knees. The Dark Side still coursing through his veins, he struggled to hold onto his own breath.
In panic he glanced around for anything that would help his brain register exactly what was happening, but he found nothing. Then his eyes fell on the Jedi, the one who shot him, the one who caused him all this pain. The hate for him brought the Sith back to the reality around him. The Jedi had to be stopped!
He raised his hand and tried to summon up the force for one last time.
His target, the jugular of the Jedi.
The force flowed through him, flaring like a fire as it surged through his veins... If he could hold on for a bit longer, he could choke the life from the Jedi. But then Fate has a way of doing whatever it wants.
He felt the Jedi's neck through the force and began to squeeze, but just as fast as the force had come, blackness came to his vision even quicker. His eyes rolled up into the back of his head and he fell down face first to the ground.

The force took more energy from him in the present state that he was in and zapped him of all his remaining strength. So now the Sith lay face down in the dirt, his mind finally accepting a sleep that he would probably never wake from.

As the assassin droid made a break for cover, he was only able to get off one more shot from his heavy blaster pistol which found its mark on the mercenary’s shoulder. However, the mercenary was able to snap off a blaster shot at the same time, slamming into the droid’s already vulnerable torso. There was no time to get a damage assessment on its target. Circuitry and wiring melted together at the droid’s core, causing multiple systems to go offline. With a catastrophic failure of systems, the droid stopped moving and fell flat to the earth. It was unknown if the unique assassin droid could be repaired or not, but it was certainly out of this engagement…

As he watched the speeder swerve to avoid the telekinetic blast, Devrim felt a slight pressure around his neck that disappeared the moment it began. If nothing else, that was confirmation to the Jedi that the Sith had truly passed out from the hit to the chest. For now, all of Devrim's attention was on the final opponent ahead of him.

As the speeder quickly corrected itself and continued its approach, Devrim knew he had precious few moments to do something before the Imperial was upon him. Acting instinctively, he planted his feet and called upon the Force once more, creating a small, translucent Barrier about a meter wide. Instead of positioning it near himself, Devrim created it directly in front of the speeder at 25 meters away — before it fired both blaster shots. With the speeder moving at 180 kph (111 mph), Qsan would simply be unable to even register the shimmering Barrier was there before he collided headlong into it. Such an impact would likely cause the Imperial to eject violently from the wreckage of the speeder, breaking several bones in the process despite wearing heavy armour. Releasing the Barrier after the 88-V Ranger presumably collided with it, Devrim would watch where the Imperial's body fell and remain alert in case he was still conscious.

Q'san noted further movement from the Jedi as he close in on him, veering hard to the left, after slowing down to about 80mph, at about thirty meters in front of him, rendering the barrier he created inert five meters ahead. Given the 88-V's notably decent maneuverability, it was no stretch for a trained Imperial Agent to perform.

Q'san swung wide as he considered further options, putting the compound between them briefly as he whipped around.
