Ezra was surprised when Dash asked why he would join. His own brows furrowed a bit, “Would you rather I join the Sith?” He asked. He wasn’t even sure if there was anywhere else to go in order to learn how to navigate the Force. He was beginning to come to terms with the fact that he couldn’t just put it in a box and forget about it. It was a part of him as much as his silver eyes were. There was a pang in his chest as he wondered if Dash simply didn’t want Ezra to join the Order. Didn’t want Ezra involved in that part of his life. However, those thoughts were squashed as soon as Dash quickly said he would simply leave.
Ezra was still staring in surprise, unable to formulate an answer. And then Dash led right into the next bomb. Ezra’s chest felt tight, but in all the good ways. For all the ways Dash manipulated ice and froze things, he had an uncanny ability to melt down all of Ezra’s internal barriers. His hand came up to gently cup the side of Dash’s face and for a moment he looked as if he would say something very romantic.
“I gave it to you that good, eh?” Ezra said in a sultry voice, moments before his face broke out into a smile. And then a soft chuckle, a genuine laugh that was exceptionally rare for him. Without warning, he rolled over atop Dash, gazing into his eyes, “I want nothing more than to be your boyfriend, Dash Pavan,” Ezra answered just as dramatically, dropping his voice to that infamous Emryc Thorne baritone.
The prospect was exhilarating, though he didn’t think about the implications just yet. He was born into fame, but Dash would be thrust into an intense and crazy world he had never experienced before. It could overwhelm even the hardiest people, but it came with the territory of dating a Thorne.
But none of that crossed his mind just yet. Ezra leaned in to gently kiss Dash before drawing back, “Come on, babe, let’s have a shower,” He said with a wink.
