While we wait for a ruling the timer is paused, but this ruling was really fast so you only had 2 or 3 hours on top of the original 48 hours.

What do you mean? Jump boots allow you to jump don't they? I'm not flying, Im just doing a singular jump.

to my knowledge they merely give you a boost when you actively jump and not make you jump at the push of a button.

What you did reads a lot like the combat jump of a jet boot.

I think @vamp and I will just accept it in the spirit of the new PvP guideline, but as another fyi @Faded Truth:

The whole convenient jump boots defense to break stasis is quite meta. I'm not sure if you'd get away with it in a more competitive PvP environment.

I do however take issue with the convenient landing in the kitchens. Considering the range those things can take you and the previously established distances of us standing almost 40 meters from each other inside the royal feast hall...reaching any kitchens is farfetched and too convenient to say the least.

It's more about whether or not you really would have used it if there hadn't been a Force Stasis incoming.

The jump will not get you all the way out of the dining hall, so most realistic would probably be you making a dash for cover behind a pillar on the opposite side as to where Elix is.

Alternatively, if you'd rather do an /exit thread you'll be fine just running off and neither me or @vamp will try to interupt.
