This was never my intention. This was not my purpose in life, my destiny, to have a child with the one I loved and leave them both on a planet that no one gave a second glance. This was not my goal. No....not my goal. And yet here I am, light years away from my home, hiding from the very thing my son may one day become without his father there to guide him.
Sith.
Just the mention of those pieces of feculent scum stirs a fire within me, the likes of which I have never felt before. We, the Jedi Order, had been rid of them for centuries, and yet once again we have not learned from our last mistakes. What took almost a millennia to achieve was washed away the moment they made themselves known to the galaxy at large.
They were cunning, manipulative, deadly, hateful creatures, not worthy of being considered sentients. For what sentient being slaughters all whom he crosses like a wild animal? What sentient being would dare submit to the very emotions that could destroy them? They may have fooled the citizens of their so called "Imperium", but the Jedi have known the truth for millennia: that they are monsters, incapable of feeling joy or sympathy. And to think my son may one day become one of them?
No.
I won't allow. I can NOT allow it! I was not there the day of his birth, or the day he first formed the protective cocoon around his body, nor was I present the day he awoke from that cocoon a fully grown Codru-Ji. Oh, but rest assured my son, I will be there the day we destroy the Sith. We will achieve what our Jedi ancestors failed to achieve from the beginning: the complete and utter destruction of the Sith Order and their Imperium. With or without the aid of Rebels.
So here I sit ever so patiently in Wild Space, at the very far reaches of the galaxy for you to find me. I can feel you out there now, helping those who can not help themselves. The underdogs of the galaxy, those who are oppressed, those who sit and wait idly by for the Jedi to come and "save" them.
Those who fail to reflect evil, have already succumbed to it.
This is the first lesson you will learn under my tutelage. That the Jedi should no longer mingle in the affairs of the galaxy, and focus on their one, true purpose of rebalancing the Force. For the Force can only truly be rebalanced once the Sith have been annihilated, stripping the galaxy of it's primary connection to the Dark Side. And then, this new Jedi Syndicate will rid the galaxy of all other practitioners of the Dark Side, such as the Vahl, the Witches of Dathomir, perhaps even the Bogan. Even then our mission will not be complete, for we must remain ever vigilant. Always searching for the slightest hint of Dark Side energy. Then, and only then, will the Force be truly at peace.
But do not worry, Rikkal-Da, my child. I will be here. Watching....and waiting.....on the edge of my seat anticipating. You and I, we will be heralded as heroes, symbols of Law & Order. Progenitors of a new army. As the creators of the New Jedi Syndicate.
