Force Bellow is a neutral Force power that uses the force to amplify the users own voice.
Appearance
As a sonic ability it is invisible even at its most potent. Although normal uses of Force Bellow require no gestures the Ithorian usage to enhance their Kougathu will visibly show effort on the users part as they draw in air and violently expel it from all four throats and two mouths.
Applications & Limitations
The vast majority of those who use this technique do so to simply amplify the volume of their voices. It has been utilised frequently by Jedi, Sith and other Force organisations over the centuries to make themselves better heard during the delivering of speeches or even threats. Although not an offensive power it can be startling.
One race that was known to use this power to more devastating ends where the Ithorian Jedi of old. Ithorian have a defensive ability known as Kougathu to shout from both their mouths simultaneously to stun attackers. The Jedi of the species could combine this ability with Force Bellow to amplify the affect making it incredibly destructive. From a powerful enough Jedi it can knock aside other sentient beings and destroy obstructions or it can be toned down to simply stun or disorientate.
A major downside is that it would leave the Ithorian winded and the user can’t pick or choose the targets in the direction that they yell.
There is no reason why another race with similar physiological features as Ithorians could not employ a similar offensive use of this power.
Level Requirements
The normal variety only required Level 1. To use the offensive variant that Ithorians, or similar races, can use would require Level 2 to be strong enough to amplify the sound to an effective degree.
No plot is required to learn this technique.
