DESCRIPTION​

Force Illusion is the ability to project nonexistent items into the minds of an opponent. Technically an "alter" ability, it is considered by many to be a subset of mind trick. Using this ability, the user could project nearly any object into the minds of those nearby.

During war time, it was popular among the Jedi to "project" out additional landing craft in order to better camouflage real attack craft. It is also a useful tool for those escaping from combat. It can be used to summon fake soldiers in order to provide alternative targets for an enemy to fire at or can be used to change the appearance of the escapee to blend into a crowd.

Although quite useful, this ability is not without its drawbacks. It requires a great deal of concentration to maintain such an illusion, and is therefore not advised to use while in active combat except to mask one's escape. Additionally, because it is a mentally-based ability it is ineffective against scanners, technology, and droids.
