DESCRIPTION​

Force Light is the ability of a practitioner of the Light Side of the Force to physically manifest the power of the light into a flash or beam of light. On a physical level, Force Light creates a bright but not blinding light from the body, but the real power of Force Light is in the Force itself.

As a manifestation of pure Light energy, it is anathema to the Dark Side of the Force. Creature's whose very existence is knit together by the Dark Side of the Force such as dark spirits and abominations are particularly susceptible to its beam. Weaker creatures can be destroyed outright by its blast, and stronger beings will often suffer burns and be forced to either retreat or protect themselves by other means. Dark sorceries and arcane powers also tend to be heavily affected by the cleansing effects of Force Light, though its effectiveness is highly variable based on the technique or artifact being attacked.

Those who are still of darkness but less steeped in evil who are caught within the arc of Force Light without defending themselves will feel their stamina drained from them and exhaustion begin take hold quickly. Failure to defend oneself will quickly leave the victim incapacitated. As with all abilities, this is proportional to the strength of the user as well as the targeted victim.
