Alright, so as you all may or may not know I rolled up a Sith Acolyte, and in doing so I am curious if there are specific guidlines to how force powers work, and where said guidelines are.

I was also wondering if we are sticking with Canon force powers or are we allowed to submit made up ones, why I was curious is because of my interpretation of how the force worked when I first saw Star Wars. :

I always believed that the force was shaped around the individual wielding it, for instance Darth Vader was tall and intimidating so the power to choke an individual with the force made sense, since there is nothing scarier than a HUGE cyborg chocking out someone. Also the emperor was an old decrepit warlock, you never once saw him pull out a light saber, instead he shot freaking lightning! What I am getting at is I always imagined the force being unique to each person due to how they attuned their will to control it in their own unique way.

Thanks for your time and clarification

All i can say is that there is no guide list here with ban force powers but there are ban force powers. People will point them out. If you wish to create force power contact a admin in detail.

That was one letter away from being the best sentence I've ever heard...

As far as Force Powers go, be sensible. Especially in the lower levels, such as Acolyte/Padawan. Start small. Basic telekinesis, if that, some weak Sense, etc. If you want your character to be uniquely suited to something, then cripple him in other areas. Like, say he's got a knack for healing, then he should be a dunce when it comes to telekinesis and lightsaber combat.

EDIT: But yes, you're right, the Force is unique as to the individual Force Sensetive, and they all learn stuff differently. But the path to power is still the same. But you will still have to learn and be taught. Just be creative like it. Try doing like I did with Kiro: Her Master tried to teach her Force Blind and Kiro, using her verbal instructions, ended up setting her hand on fire (and thus learning Pyrokinesis) instead of producing a blinding light.
