Once again, Avreet knelt in one of the many training rooms. And once again, a whole bunch of students was headed his way to learn from him! After seeing how many signed up, he chose a bigger room than before, one that would give them enough space to practice. Rising from his kneeling position in the middle of the room, his one eye looked to the left, watching several tables with various tools and items on them. Knives, hydrospanners, credits, pens, staves, spoons. Some of them could be used as weapons, but only to a certain degree. On the other end of the room 'stood' dozens of decomissioned droids, variously cut and dismembered by those who practiced their lightsaber prowess on them. Those pieces of junk would serve this class well enough though. Avreet purposedly chose those over working droids, believing even the seemingly useless things could find their use.

Avreet would teach his students how to turn the simplest object into a deadly weapon, and how to bewitch items. Both powers could be listed under Force weapon, and both powers served him very well. The Mon Calamari hoped the students wouldn't be as incompetent as some from his previous class, as that made him realize that teaching an unworthy student was worse than fighting a Jedi Knight. Turning his sight back at the door leading to the class, he awaited the Acolytes, praying to the Force they had some manners, unlike the people he had never met before and yet they acted as if he was their old friend.

She walked casually toward the training room where she was about to receive a lesson on Force weapon. She had no idea how to do it but she found the skill fascinating. She was happy that she was going to learn the skill. It would come in handy in certain situations. She finally made it to the room and opened the door.

Her blue eyes peered over to the left of the room where there were various items on tables. She imagined that they were going to use them. She didn't know what the credits were for but if there was a way to use that as a weapon Azhure had no idea.

At the other end of the room were decommissioned training droids that Azhure knew they were going to use in the class. In the middle of the room stood a Mon Calamari. She never encounter one before especially a Sith one. She walked a little closer to the Crusader and introduced herself with a slight bow.

"Greetings Azhure RoMayne reporting in."

Like he had done many times before, Sin'ryk entered the training room, determined to learn how to create a Force weapon. In ages passed, the Red Sith had mastered the art of using the Force to create the blades they were famed for. Indeed had he still lived, Master Phurris would have passed the knowledge onto him. Sin'ryk knew that the greatest of Sorcerers could forge swords that shimmered with the power of the Dark Side. The Acolyte also hoped that by gaining insight into the process of imbuing the Force into weapons, he could begin a lead into searching for the sword stolen from his murdered

Breaking free from his thoughts, the Pureblood focused on the centre of the room. There stood a Mon Calamari Sith, no doubt an extreme rarity given that their kind are normally associated with the Rebellion. Sin'ryk clasped his hand to his chest in salutation.

"Well met, I Sin'ryk Nalessh have come to learn how to channel the Force to create the perfect weapon."

It was only a few days after his class with master Gima. His first one after hers as well. He had pondered on how to tell if a sith Master wanted a bow or didnt. He learned from Avreet in his stealth class not to bow to Crusaders but he was sure the crusader had said to bow to masters. It was all so confusing now. Luckily he knew what Avreet wanted as a response. His last introduction had been to formal so this time he would only introduce himself and acknowledge the Crusaders words.

Walking into the room he saw two acolytes there before him and made a note to himself to start arriving sooner. He had always been the first or second one when he became an acolyte it didnt need to stop. Now looking at the Crusader he said " Crusader Avreet. Not sure if you remember me but I was in your force stealth class. My name is Raslekx Kongure." It was short and to the point for the most part and he said it with respect hoping this time he wouldn't get shocked it had happened way to many times although only once as a punishment.

Damion felt it was a rare opportunity to learn the skill of weaponizing the force. He knew it would be a skill that would be absolutely invaluable. He had been in several classes and enjoyed every opportunity to increase his power and training. He entered the academy and followed the all too familiar path to the training rooms. He entered the assigned room to find three of the acolytes already there and a rarity in the sith order, a mon calamari standing in the position of leadership. The mon calamari looked unhappy and he took in the vast amounts of items and droids scattered about the room. He took his position beside the other three acolytes and greeted the instructor in his raspy little used voice, "Greetings, I am Damion Corinth, I look forward to our class together."

Following the brief greeting he looked at the other acolytes and recognized all three of them from previous classes. He nodded to them as he awaited the instruction of the sith in charge.

The idea of augmenting his ryyk blade with the force so it could go toe to toe against a lightsaber and be unharmed truly appealed to Rook. It would also give him a unique advantage in combat as he guessed that not many had seen the heavy Wookiee blade used before. He looked around the training room when he entered and noticed Raslexk was there. He nodded at him briefly, he was a talented Acolyte as far as Rook could tell.

The instructor was, of all things, a Mon Calamari. An interesting sight among the Sith for sure, though in all fairness, so was a wookiee. "Crusader Zavarus, I'm Rookwrr. I'm sure this will be an interesting lesson," he said.

Avreet nodded at each students as they entered and introduced themselves. It was a nice chance from the last class, where half of the students did not bother to do that, resulting in them being punished by the amphibious teacher, which in turn made them try their best to sabotage the whole class, resulting in having to kick one of them out. Naturally, Avreet did not know his author made a post about that in the OOC thread, which made all characters introduce themselves just as he wanted xD. This certainly affected the Mon Cal's mood in a positive way, perhaps these students were worthy of being a part of the Sith Order.

The young Crusader waited until all of them gathered before starting the lesson. Looking at each one of them, he recognized one from his previous class, but all the other faces were new to him. He noted a bit of diversity among them, the Wookiee certainly stood out, though Avreet did not care. Quite the opposite, being a non-human himself, and a Mon Calamari on the top of that, the race that was so famous for taking down the First Galactic Empire and becoming a major pain in Darth Krayt's side. The New Sith Imperium was different though, taking in everyone who wanted to fight for the right thing, no matter the species. Avreet had not met with any sort of discrimination in his life, making him consider himself an Imperial.

"Welcome, students," he clasped his webbed hands behind his back, "I am glad you have chosen this humble class, as the power you are going to learn is the one you want if you lose your lightsaber. Force weapon, a Force power that can be used for both defense and offense, but also to bewitch an item of your choosing with any power you already know, provided you have enough energy to do that. A very, very useful power. Before we get to learning how exactly use it, allow me a little demonstration."

Walking to the left towards the tables with various junk, he glared over the items until he picked up a simple small spoon and a knife. He showed both items to the students before igniting his lightsaber and slowly bringing the knife towards the crimson plasma. As expected, it vaporized upon contact, as almost any material that dared to touch the blade of a lightsaber. The Mon Cal then took the spoon, shielding it with the Force and making it a part of his own Force energy, and did the same thing as with the knife. Surprisingly, the spoon did not vaporize or melt, it remained in it's state even as Avreet applied more strength, pushing the spoon against the lightsaber. To prove the spoon was not made from a lightsaber resistant material, he stopped pouring the Force into it - resulting in it being cut in half.

"Isn't it impressive?" Avreet's eyes glittered, "You can block a lightsaber with a spoon." The Mon Calamari turned to the students, slightly smiling, "Students, do you know what the main differences between objects imbued with the Force and our lightsabers are?"

Sin'ryk pondered the Mon Calamari's question, an intriguing one at that. The Pureblood raised his hand and spoke.

"This may be a stray guess, but based upon what we have observed a lightsaber can be destroyed, its components hard to acquire when desperately needed. A Force-imbued weapon could potentially be improvised from any object with lethal potential, though I digress it would be preferable to use an object that was designed to be used as such, therefore maximising any lethal potential with the weapon. Such improvisation can result in a near-indestructible weapon, perhaps even permanently should one choose to channel a lot of power."

Ivaris grinned inwardly. Finally, a class worth attending. She knew of only a few who were a practitioner of the Force Weapon technique, and that was a shame because it could potentially be so useful.

She stepped inside and quickly counted the number of participants, then bowed at the fish-man teaching. After his question and the Sith Pureblood's explanation, she added, "As you know, lightsabers are like solidified torches, really" --she pointed to the burned half of her face--"they give off heat and burn things. But they can be broken. They can be lost and countered against. Force imbued weapons are objects imbued with Force energy to make them stronger and augment their natural abilities.

“My name is Ivaris, by the way. Sorry I’m late. It happens.”

Tsukihana slipped in right behind her. “You mean we are late. And do not forget, the channeling of Force Weapon cannot go on forever. Practitioners tire out. Could the imbued object not eventually be destroyed from the stress placed upon it? I apologize if I am asking a stupid question.

She gave a slight bow. “And my name is Tsukihana. Thank you for having us today. To whom to I owe the pleasure?”

Ivaris rolled her eyes at her clones formalities but said nothing. This was going to be one long class.

The Mon Calamari walked over to the table that had the various items on it and picked up a spoon and a knife. He showed the class the items then ignited his lightsaber. Azhure watched in amazement. Both spoon and knife were shielded in the force making it a part of the crusader's force energy. The spoon as did the knife did not vaporize or melt when pushed against the crusaders lightsaber.

Once he stopped pouring the force into the spoon it immediately cut in half. Azhure thought it was interesting and wondered if any object can be used in that way. Then the Mon Calimari asked a question and Azhure pondered her thoughts on it. She listened to Sin'ryks guess which to her made sense. Then two late arrivals came and gave their answer. Azhure didn't have an answer so to learn she listened to whomever spoke out.

Damion watched the Mon Calamari utilize the technique he was going to teach, impressed would be an understatement of what he saw. The spoon and knife were two weapons he figured would be useless in true battle, but he watched as he held the force imbued spoon against the lightsaber with no damage to the spoon. After releasing the force imbuing on the spoon, it was cut cleanly in half. This truly would be a lesson that he would need to pay close attention to.

He watched as two late unexpected acolytes joined the fray. He shook his head, if he was the instructor he would not have been happy with the interruption. However, back to the question at hand that he had asked the students, following the pureblood's response, he nodded agreeing with what he had to say. There was nothing that the man had not taken into account.

The pureblood had a good explanation. From what he understood force weapons were weapons that basicly couldn't be broken were as a lightsaber could. Under what cost to energy was the real question though. Obviously it was more efficient to use lightsabers as that was the normal thing to do. Though he could see how making common things like a spoon a weapon could be useful. Watching as two late acolytes walked in he didnt think there would be much of a punishment. A shock if anything he assumed. Personally he would have walked up to them, looked at them for a few moments and shocked them until they begged for it to stop. Screaming of pain was always fun to hear when your causing it.

Thinking he should at least say something even if it was no help to the class but nodding was useless and made yourself look like a fool. "The pureblood has a good explanation." He said instead of nodding like many of the others.

"It means, as the pureblood stated, anything can become a weapon with sufficient power and skill by the user. Which means your opponent can be in for quite a surprise if that stick you picked up blocks his lightsaber unharmed. Surprise that will give you an opening to retaliate. Preferably you would prefer to not lose your lightsaber and resort to a stick, but in battle nothing is certain, which makes Force Weapon such a useful ability to know," responded Rook. While the other acolytes had agreed with the pureblood, which was fair enough as he had an excellent explanation, Rook had expanded upon the answer given. Not entirely necessary, but it was an answer that held a slightly different approach to the question.

Avreet shot a glare at the two latecomers. He’d never dare to come late to a class, be it his own or someone else’s. "You’d better be more punctual, Acolytes. Knowledge won’t wait for you to show up. Luckily for you two, we have just started," he smiled in a Mon Calamari smile, letting the two slip away this time. He then listened to all the answers that came his way. Some Acolytes remained silent, either not knowing what to say, or believing their opinion has already been voiced by someone else. The students who answered generally gave him right answers, which indicated they could imagine how the power worked, an important thing that would help them with understanding later. When they were finished, the Crusader nodded and spoke up again.

"You are right, students. Force imbued weapons are good when you lose your lightsaber and you need to defend yourself against a lightsaber wielding opponent. The strength of the weapon depends on how much energy you put into it. If you pick up a heavy pipe, imbue it with the Force and attack your opponent with a strong overhead strike, you will probably force them to block it. When you stop using the Force, letting the pipe touch the lightsaber…your opponent will get hit into their head by a falling piece of the pipe, along with a shower of molten metal. Lightsabers usually vaporize or melt whatever they touch. Force imbued weapons will never have so great cutting ability or generate such an intense heat. You generally want to use a normal weapon imbued with the Force only when you lose a lightsaber, as our taditional weapons are far superior. If you are worried about your lightsaber being destroyed, build the hilt from a high quality material, or imbue it with the Force."

His left hand pointed towards the tables with the items, "Please, pick any object you want. If you feel confident, you can use your lightsaber, but know that I will be testing if you truly understand Force weapon, so you might as well leave this class with a broken weapon if you take the risk." The Mon Calamari then waited for all of them to get the item they wanted before continuing. "To properly use this power, you need to be aware of the energy flowing through your body. The Force is in all of us, serves us, and is our greatest tool. Imagine the Force as a vast ocean, and each one of you is a water source. Instead of you pouring into the ocean, it flows into you, giving you power. You then use the energy for telekinesis or any other Force power. I want you to realize of the energy inside of you, as you need to connect it to the object you want to imbue with the Force. Guide the energy into your hand, and from there, give it into the object. It is almost like Force lightning, except you do not release the energy from your fingertips, you let it travel further into the object, as if it was an extension of your body. Once you do that, pour more Force into it, eventually giving it enough energy the Force will travel throughout the object, shielding it. Please, do not use passion yet, for that would make the process harder. Only once you feel the Force is imbued within the object and protects it, you can use your passion to strengthen your connection, make it more stable and imbue it more effectively."

Telekinetically grabbing a large piece of droid, Avreet glanced at his students, "If you do not understand, focus on what I’m doing." With that, the Mon Cal closed his eyes and slowly, so the students could feel it, moved the Force within himself into his hands holding the droid’s head, letting the energy pass into the metal until there was enough to shield it from harm. He remained completely calm, void of all emotions, until his passion chained the connection, reinforcing it, adding further protection to the droid. Taking out his lightsaber again, he turned it on into the droid’s head, not even scratching it. Once he stopped touching the thing with his other hand, the lightsaber instantly burned its way through. Avreet let his crimson blade on, "Once you’re ready, touch my lightsaber with your imbued object."

In response to the Mon Calamari's instructions, Sin'ryk looked down upon the items on the table. There was a knife, a wooden stave, a simple rubber glove and a...plunger? The Red Sith mused inwardly that the caretakers ofthe Academy won't be pleased with Acolytes using their tools in their education. He certainly won't be using it, Force knows where it has been or what it was used to unblock. Instead, Sin'ryk decided to pick up the wooden stave. He balanced it in his hands and twirled it so as to gain a good impression of its weight.

Content, the Pureblood began to focus, drawing upon the Force to flow through him. With a simple mental command, it began to flow into the stave. Sin'ryk focused, channeling the Force into every part, every empty sap vessel, until the staff was filled to the brim.with power. Content with what he has done, the Pureblood approached Crusader Avreet, and then brought the staff down the lightsaber blade. It knocked it back, but the wooden stave remained unscathed; the Pureblood's efforts had worked and elation filled him to the core as he returned to his desk.

Damion was next to try the force weapon technique. He glanced at the table at the various items sitting on and around it. He spotted a simple wooden stick and decided he would use it as his item of choice as he knew without any help the wood would easily be sliced in half and burned to a crisp. He followed the crusader's instructions and focused his force energy as if he was going to use force lightning but instead of the force flowing out into form he forced the energy into the stick. He could feel the stick was beginning to collect the energy and he continued to pour his force energies into the item. He continued until the stick felt "full" and he could feel its presence in the force. Sensing it in the force he decided it was time to attempt against the crusader's lightsaber. He walked towards him and brought the stick to bear against the legendary weapon of the lightsaber.

Rook picked up a large hydrospanner and hefted it in his hand, feeling the weight. Used properly it could cause some damage, he guessed. "I wonder, could you apply the same technique to a body part?" he asked Avreet, as he focused on the multi-use tool. The wookiee closed his eyes and let the force flow through him as Avreet had explained and then showed them how to do. It started out slow at first, then the flow increased, pouring into the hydrospanner. Once he had the force flowing for a few seconds, he brought his emotions and passion to bear, strengthening the force-augmented spanner. He frowned, was it really this simple? Force Weapon wasn't a common technique, yet the way Avreet had explained it seemed rather...mundane. Perhaps it was the constant flow of force energy required by the technique that made it not so common. Rook made it a point to ask those questions later, after he had demonstrated he knew how to use the power. He struck at Avreet's lightsaber next, and was pleased to see that the spanner held up. Rook continued to press the improvised weapon against the lightsaber, then cut the flow of force. It was an interesting feeling as the piece went from resting solidly against the Mon Calamari's weapon one second, and the next passing through it in a shower of sparks and melted plastiteel. "Interesting," he mused aloud.

Raslekx looked at the various things on the table he was told to pick from. He thought about what might be something good to start with. Others had picked decent things and Rook even let his burn that or he couldn't keep the power up for long. He decided to embrace his new master and took a spoon thinking it would be the most fun to work with. Death by spoon he liked the ring of it.

He also thought about what the Crusader had said. He said pretend the force is an ocean just like the last time he had taught a class. The last time he thought it made sense maybe not a reference to his spices but it turns out that he actually saw the force as an ocean. Whether it was because of his species or not he had no idea but he found it ironic. Now concentrating on his spoon ad putting himself in the ocean as he does when he uses any force stealth power he tried moving that power into the spoon. He sat and put energy into it until he thought it was as 'full' as he would get it and walked towards the crusader. Holding the spoon by the very end he slammed the spoon into the saber. It bounced off and flew out of his hand. Where the spoon landed he didnt know but he was happy with the result he got even if it was just a spoon.

“I am aware I am late, and it will not happen again if I am to ever attend another class taught by you,” said Tsukihana. Swerving around Ivaris, she walked over to and surveyed a table upon which a myriad of objects rested. She stood for a moment before picking up a pair of white ceramic chopsticks. After stepping away she began to open herself up to the Force, feeling the flow fill her. She directed it down her arms like for Force Lightning, but then instead of concentrating it in her fingertips, she let it fill her chopsticks. She let the energy fill them for a moment, then mentally “held” it there. Tsukihana walked over to the Crusader and held out the chopsticks in her hand, pressing them against his lightsaber blade. They were not cut. Releasing her mental focus on the energy, the chopsticks were cut and half and the cut ends fell, smoking.

----------

Ivaris didn’t say anything to the instructor, only shrugging. She’d done it before with other teachers, and now knew her limit with this one. Some didn’t care, some became livid, others let one off with a warning. She headed to a table adjacent to where Tsukihana. Unlike her she didn’t survey what was there. She just picked up a random datapad with a cracked screen. She opened herself up to the Force and let it rush into her, down to her good arm and the datapad. It permeated it in its entirety, and Ivaris locked down on the energy to keep it there. She walked over to the Mon Calamari. Taking the datapad, she swung it against the lightsaber blade then held it there. It was unharmed until she let up on the lock, which make the datapad get cut through in a shower of sparks. The plastoid and transparisteel melted badly.

Without thinking, she transferred the now-ruined electronic and ejected the three metal claws from her knuckles. She did the same process as before-- gathering energy, focusing it, then holding it. Taking a leap of faith, Ivaris held her blades against the lightsaber, too. They were, to her amazement, unharmed. She retracted them and stepped away.

She just had a sudden thought--could she use this on her cybernetic limbs? If it was possible, would the energy have to be gathered from an organic area right before the cybernetics? That would mean her shoulder and upper thigh...hmmm. She would ask later.

Avreet turned off his lightsaber and smiled in approval as all students have successfully grasped the basics of the technique. It was a nice change, seeing so many competent Acolytes and having the pleasure of teaching them a useful Force power. "Good job, everyone. Remember, to be good at using Force weapon, you need to practice it. Knowledge itself won’t save your life when you need to quickly shield an object to block an incoming lightsaber slash or a blaster bolt. Also keep in mind it is extremely exhausting, so use it only if you have no other means of blocking or dodging a lightsaber attack, as it will drain most of your energy, even to the point you might faint." His orange eyes darted over the students before explaining how the power worked when used on a body. "Some of you surely had an idea of simply using Force weapon to protect your limbs. It won’t work. Force weapon means giving energy to something that won’t use it. Most, if not all living organisms operate with the Force in some sort of way, so if you attempt to shield your hand, for example, the energy will be absorbed back into your body. Basically, you will give your own energy to yourself, so it’s useless. You could, however, give your ally an energy boost if you used the power on them like that. Keep in mind it is only temporary though, and it might significantly weaken you for a while if you grant too much energy. And by the way, the Force is not electricity, so don’t waste your time trying to power up machinery."

"Now that all of you know how to move your energy into something, it is time to learn about other uses of Force weapon. This is harder, so don’t worry if you won’t succeed. It really depends on how powerful you are."
The Mon Calamari raised his right hand and levitated a credit chip to it. "Again, pick any object you’d like. Definitely don’t use your lightsaber or anything of value to you though." Giving them time to do as he said, the Crusader twirled the credit chip in his hand until the last student was ready. "Force weapon not only allows you to protect your weapon with the Force, it also allows you to enchant it. As you grow stronger in the Force, you will be able to make those enchantments last longer or even make them permanent. It is a spell, so when enchanting, you must utter words Jen’migla. When enchanting, focus deeply. It is pretty much the same how you use Force weapon, but instead of only moving your energy into the weapon, you also move a Force power into it, like Force lightning, Force illusion, Force fear, Force cloak,… Not all powers can be used, telekinesis for example, and some powers require too much energy to give."

Before letting the students to it, the young Crusader demonstrated the power again. Pouring his energy into the credit chip, he used his anger to call upon the Dark Side and moved it to the held object. "Jen’migla," he silently said, telekinetically hovering the object over his webbed hand. "I have added a very weak version of Force lightning. Anyone other than me who touches it will be shocked. Perfect against thieves. You can try to do the same with your items," the credit chip fell back into his hand and he showed it to them, "Or perhaps there is someone brave enough to touch it? It won’t kill you, I promise." He smirked extending his hand in an offer, his palm open with a single ordinary looking credit chip.
