Rish walked into the showers alone. Everyone else was either asleep or eating in the messhall. Rish stripped down out of his makeshift gear that he had bought back on the hunt and laid it down on a nearby wooden bench.
Rish stepped over to the valve where the water would flow seamlessly
onto his body. Turning the valve did so. But not coming from an interesting
patterned faucet creating streams of water. Rather just a hole in the wall, hiding a large pipe that let a large flow of water exit....

Rish felt that the water cleansed himself of his deeds once more.
But his eye said otherwise. Running his left hand over his eye for a moment the images of the recent passed flashed back. Ksilas in the mouth of the dragon...being face to face with the beast. And then the images of his father
in his arms. Rish looked down into the drainage grate that he stood over bathing. He was going to have to resolve things one day. With his mother for leaving her to grieve alone as Rish ran off with his own. For putting in Ksilas
in danger. For Rish letting things go as they have been. After about an hour or so, Rish turned off the valve and dried himself and wrapped himself in the black robes he had worn so often as a Bogan. Rish then treaded over off to the library. Many other crusaders and acolytes sat in the room quietly. Rish took a seat in a chair that was lined by the fur of exotic's beasts. Rish then sent a quiet message to Ksilas through the Force...

"Meet me in the library."

Rish was going to give a lesson and an apology.
A lesson in the code. And an apology for not telling
Ksilas somethings he should of...

Hearing and acknowledging his voice, Ksilas nodded and got up, struggling with her arm. She growled at the growth where her appendage would have been, then walked down the long corridors to the library. She was surprised at the lack of acolytes, but realized that she and Rish had come back at a late hour, and that they were probably sleeping. A few nocturnal sentients were to be seen though, although that didn't make the halls seem any less forboding.

When she arrived in the library, she thought to herself as she found Rish seated there. She took a seat in the silent room, her claws scraping the floor, unbalanced, as she fumbled, unbalanced. Tshe glanced up at the recipient of her life debt... Damn you, Ksilas! Why did you have to be so rash! Looking at her missing appendage, or at least the place it should have been, and sighed. But she might not have been alive, had he not been there. But she wouldn't have been here at all, if not from him and... It was like her dream, almost. So many choices, so little time...

Rish pulled down a book from where he sat and flipped through the pages
untill coming to a sudden stop till about half way through...

"Through the ages of our order the Bogan have followed this code
through and through. For better or worse..."

Rish took a small breath before he continued...

"No peace, only suffering.
No knowledge, only instinct.
No serenity, only passion.
No harmony, only chaos.
No life, only death."

Rish stared at the words on the ancient book and thought
of what they meant to him now. If anything the code could
be interperted into anything you wanted as long as it didint
interfere with the high ups.

Rish then awaited Ksilas to speak about what she thought about the code
He would say nothing but rather wait and see her choice of words.

" But that doesn't even make sense! How can you choose death over life, because then you would not Have anyone in the order! If there was chaos instead of harmony, then the order itself is destinies for destruction as it fights within itself! "No peace, only suffering. If there is constant suffering, why? No serenity, then your passion will consume you until there is nothing to passion for! And as for knowledge, how can you fight without even attempting to find knowledge of your enemies weakness? You would lose yourself! And as for instinct..." you've seen me. She finished in her head. It was very frightening, having to keep your temper at risk of losing her sanity. She had almost killed herself because of that in the dragons den. Her arm was a constant reminder of this. And the code didn't even make sense! She had questions about the emotional part of the Jedi code, but this was flipfloped beyond recognition. How was there such an order if their own principles were such a poor foundation? What kriffing idiots had joined it?

"There isint order. You are correct Ksilas. Our order is founded upon the madness and chaos. You have to remember who these people are that
join this order. It takes control..."

Rish then looked around for a moment to avoid causing a scene.
He then lowered his voice even though no one was within the
library but the two of them.

"It takes control of you. You become a slave to yourself and the order.
But in the truth of things you could ignore the code all together! And as
long as you respect the Masters and listen to your orders they dont care!"

Rish knew what he was talking about. He had spoke with other members
about such things and worked along side of them. The Bogan was truly a pit for those who are angry with themselves and others. They let themselves consume their minds. It was one elaborate plan...

then why are you here? If this place is such a cesspit, then why would you pluck me off the street to be here? Anger is the last thing I want. You have seen me! I just about killed you the first time and killed myself the other! I have fought my whole life to contain that part of me. When I am lost in my anger, my bloodlust...
I... I lose control... of myself...

She cringed when she thought of times she had lost her mind to bloodlust. She hated that part of her, wanted it gone...

Akk dogs! If he continued at this rate, he'd have her whole life story by the time the day went by!

Rish paused for a moment. He ran his right hand over his face lightly and looked down at Ksilas. Rish knew why he had done it. He had become a victim
of himself and the order...

"The order drilled inside my head without ever touching me. They let my anger
consume me....They let me believe that the order was the only thing that I had the resembled a family. So then everything I did was for the order..."

Rish sighed for a brief moment...

"When I plucked you off from the face of the Galaxy...I was consumed with myself. I longed for an apprentice that I could teach and pass on everything I know. Create a perfect warrior. But the idea slipped away through the training of others and...you.."

Rish turned his view from Ksilas to a fire that burned within a lantern...

"Most acolytes gave into the training. And those who resisted I broke them.
Then training them to be killing machines. I took one acolyte to a world filled with flora that blotted out the skys to slay a Rancor. We were successful.
But it most likely gave him false hope when he fought one of the head Jedi.."

Rish thought of his acolyte that had gone into a coma after a crippling battle with one of the Master Jedi. He left his own student to die as he rallyed with the rest to allow the Mass murdering of the Jedi to succeed. Rish didint want to think about it...

"Sometimes I really do think about trying to leave this place. But would I just be running away from what I fear? The day I ran away from the death of my father was the day I met the Bogan..So tell me what would you do?

"Well. That helps none. Especially knowing I somehow avoided being broken by you.

I am not sure what to do however. I don't want to get locked into this faction. But I don't think we should run either. I ran too. I ran from when...

Ksilas, realizing that she was going to give more of her history away, turned her head and caughed into her arm. Clearing her throat, and hoping he didn't catch her blunder, she continued.

I don't think we should run. Especially since that guard at the door wasn't too pleased about your being gone at all. But I am not sure what to do...

She really wasn't, but she was much more relieved that she had caught herself. She was not ready to share her secrets. Secrets are to be shared with family first, others after. So Koorbar has told her. He wasn't family. Nobody was anymore. But one.
But speaking of family... Where was Kailiak?

Rish nodded and stroked his tusks. Ksilas had a point about running. The Bogan werent the best people to tick off. After all you might not even wake up after you had done any wrong to them.

"Well then that is the code of the Bogan. Everyone has to know it sometime.
And we should most likely start you on your Force training. And if you try hard enough I might even teach you to heal with the Force."

Rish then smiled and thought he was rather clever with his inticing idea.
Of course Rish thought about his expertise training. He would have to do
it eventually and prayed that he wouldnt get any of the psychos.

You did tend to get quite a few of those in the Bogan...

Ksilas shuddered. She felt the force, true. But, even after all this time, it still seemed... bizzare. It began with the Jedi in the bar, when her scales were set aquiver by the presense of another force user. Being used to it now, after the Jedi and now with the bogan, she could still feel them buzzing noiselessly. But that seemed about it. She could hear others, and feel them, but they were basic abilities, compared to the emmense boulders she had seen others lift, the jumps ten feet high or more... But she wasn't jelous. No. Because she had talent, just not where she wanted it. When she got mad... Things turned to the worse.
She remembered the air turning to static, herself moving with a finesse that was more than predators grace, the electricity pouring out of her outstreched claws...
But that was only the beginnings or the ends. She could never remember what happened during her bloodlust, but she preferred it that way. She didn't think she could live with herself if she knew.
Ksilas shuddered again, and awaited Rish's instructions.

Rish picked off a small book off the shelf and held it flat in his hand...

"I want you to move this book. It doesnt have to move off my hand or anything. Just move it."

Rish then stared down at Ksilas as he awaited to see her reach out into the Force and take it by the reigns. The Force was truly like an animal. You could tame it and it would serve your whim. While you could turn into a nasty beast with unimaginable power. Thinking about it, Rish always thought what it would be like to have unimaginable control over the Force...

Whew. Nothing too hard. She had moved water before, this should be a bowl of worms!

Ksilas nodded her head in acknowledgement and focused, as she was taught before, so long ago. The force seemed to open up for her, and remembered the conection she made with the force a couple days ago. It seemed to answer to her here, and it opened up the world to her. Perhaps, she was more talented than she had thought.

But the book. She remembered the rancor from a couple days ago, and remembered how easy it was to bring it to her. She felt the book, alive in the ocean of Force. She reached with a claw and flicked it, the book answered by jerking in that direction. She smiled, and moved her talons in a smother motion. The book slowly came down, floating softly, noiselessly, back onto his hand. She opened her eyes, and awaited the words of Rish.

Rish nodded as the book was laid back down quietly. Rish then pulled down another book and laid it in the opposite hand...

"Now I want you to stack the both of these on either hand."

Rish wanted to see the limit of Ksilas. Everyone had their limits.
After finding them someone could train them to increase their limit.
It could be themselves or anyone. But once you could excercise
your limit the possibilitys would open up in the world of a Force
user...

That should be easy too! How were the Bogan able to attack the Jedi temple again?
Once again, she opened her mind to the currents of the force. The book awaited her, and she moved her claws to posiition the book carefully on top if the other. But she moved a little too far.
Forgetting about her missing appendage, she moved a little too much to the right. With no arm to stabalize her, she toppled out of her chair and onto the ground. Her scales beginning to flush with embarrassment, she muttered inaudibly as she struggled to get up and reseat herself. At least the books were all right. And they were still stacked.

Rish then put the books back on their shelves respectedly and crossed his legs as he looked down at the now embarrased acolyte. Rish chuckled quietly
but still able to be heared. Rish then pulled out a small diary with runic letters
written on the back and front of it. The book was tied down with strings and small ropes. Rish took his claw and pulled lightly, causing the strings to
unravel with ease. Rish then turned to one of the few begining pages of the
book and read quietly. He then raised his right hand as he held the book in his left...

"I want you to raise your hand like me and focus the force into your palm..."

Rish's eyes closed as he waited Ksilas to do what he asked.

Ksilas followed his instructions, raising her right hand into the air. Then she focused.
She felt the Force as she did before, the waves and currents around her. They were alive, full of energy, harnessable, yet it was just as simple to let the Force flow through her own self. Part of it beconed to her feral nature, hoping to unravel the shields she had formed around her core, but she dispeled those thoughts. She had a task to complete.
Stable, she balanced herself to prevent her blunder from happening again, she raised her right claws slightly higher. She felt the currents of the Force and swirled them. Feeling a slight wind against her scales and head crest, she continued, gathering the ball, of sorts, into her hand, although the ball, barely visible to the eye, seemed to be, in fact, a ball, it felt to her as if it was a whirlpool of energy, a small black hole, if you will. But it wasn't dark, no. It was a collection of power. Holding it made Ksilas feel calm, peaceful, serene...

Rish then lightly laid his hand on Ksilas's wrist and pulled it up and over to his left eye...

"Now I want you to focus the energy over my eye.
This is two lessons in one."

The lesson was to teach her how to heal with the Force.
But at the same time revealing to her that you cant always
fix things. In flesh and the past. Even if the incident was only
a couple days earlier. Sometimes you have to deal with things in
one way or another. And this was Rish's way....

Finally realizing what he was trying to accomplish, Ksilas hesitated. She didn't know, anymore. Whether to trust him or not, the kidnapper, the life saver, the ruthless warrior, the person who seemed to care? The line between Friends and foes was a dull grey, the distinctions impossible. But she pledged a life debt, and this could save him in the future.

She felt rather uncomfortable so close to him, with her thoughts running around like neeks with their head cut off. But she set her jaw and focused. She tried to calm the slight wind for safety, but didn't want to risk hurting him, just in case the blurred line between friend and foe cleared and he was a friend. Or an accomplice. With her claws a mere inch from his eye, she focused her power into an even smaller, more compacted sphere, and awaited his next orders.

"Now focus the energy over my eye and try to heal it."

Rish was blunt with his words. And he needed to see with his good
eye what she could do.

Ksilas first waited there a moment, almost as if expecting the Forcebin her hand to suddenly do somethig on it's own. But after realizing that wasn't going to work, Ksilas thought for a minute, the small globe of Force, somewhat illuminated due to the compression of the Force.
When she had been healed... She had felt what she now assumed was Rish using the force take the body's natural healing abilities and intensify them. Obviously, Rish was able to access her regenerative properties. She highly doubted kel for had them.
She closed her eyes and felt. She could feel the burns as if they were her own, she could feel the soft pulse of pain. The eye was about blind, the scars caused by the slash remaining. Ksilas hesitated, and began.

"Please tell me if I hurt you." she spoke. Then she lightly placed her right claw on his eye, wincing as she felt the soft pain. Guessing that Kel Dor could not regenerate, she felt the cells themselves under the mask and began to empower them with the Force, letting it sink in and heal the cell. She also felt the other eye in the Force and begin to send the Force along pathways that would mimic the other eye's features. She looked at Rish before continuing.
