The office was bustling as aides moved back and forth, plopping datapads on her desk. Adèle lets out a sigh and dismisses them with a wave. The Senator of Mandalore is coming, she extended an invitation a few days prior and needs to prepare for her arrival. She looked around her spacious office, the window showing a video display of the beach outside her favourite residence on Kuat, one that fills her with longing.
The Senator of Kuat is not against the BA, while she finds the Outer Rim to be quaint, she isn't against them on principle. The BA and her worlds can be very lucrative trading partners, if only for the supply of war material. Yet, the main point of this meeting is to test out the viability of this strategy. She can only hope that the Senator of Mandalore will be for an agreement with Kuat, and enable her to have inroads to the BA to enable Kuat to make a pretty fortune as the biggest producer and trade partner for the BA worlds. Big dreams, but one can hope... She tosses the datapad aside and awaits another interesting meeting. She pours herself a glass of wine, dating back 5 centuries and takes a sip, contemplating how exactly this meeting will go. But one thing is certain.
