The planet was without a name in any of the astrogation charts that Wyck had seen, yet it appeared on them nonetheless. The implication was plain: a Jedi temple constructed by the oldest members of the Order. If true, it meant that there could be something... some origins of the Jedi that could be found there. A clue at how best to restore the Order to the way it once was. And Wyck had not come alone; a young companion of his had made the journey with him.

Kalee Gea.

"Young one," the old Jedi Knight called from the cockpit of their ship. "Well, are you? Almost there, we are." Wyck's face creased. "Hmm, turbulence do I sense in the Force. Challenges will we face here. Yes, sense it I do. Many challenges. And, hopefully, a reward to match."

He pointed the ship towards the planet's northernmost continent and steered towards the coordinates mentioned on the old astrogation charts. A world of lush green fields and dark oceans stretched out before them; and, before long, the location in question came into view: a circular Jedi temple, old, abandoned, and made of stone—just as the records in the Ossus Library indicated many of the oldest Jedi temples were. As he waited for his companion to appear, Wyck directed the ship towards the field next to the temple and began to search for a landing spot.

Her entire life Kalee had studied old texts & teachings of the Jedi Order, learning of what it had once been, and wishing it could be restored to its former glory. Recently several masters within the order had been venturing to long forgotten planets in search of Jedi Lore, and secrets long lost from the past. The expeditions had caught Kalee's attention, and filled her with a longing to experience these long forgotten treasures of the order, and contribute to its rebirth. That longing was what lead to her slicing through space in a small Jedi shuttle, with the much older Jedi Master Wyck. They had selected a planet to begin their search due to Wyck's peculiar interest in it. He had told her that it didn't appear to have a name on any of the systems, but that it was still listed on every map the Jedi had. According to him, this meant that there was likely to be Jedi structures on the planet. She hadn't argued, as lore hunting was a task new to her, and instead had followed the smaller Jedi headlong on the hunt.

The small planet stretched out before them, its surface seeming to radiate life back towards any observers. Kalee was stowed away in the shallow living compartment just behind the cockpit, watching the planet through a viewport inlaid in the ship wall. She hadn't expected it to be so green, and so alive looking. She had grown up on the moon of Jedha, which was brimming with life, but even then this was an entirely new level. The planet seemed undisturbed by the galaxy around it - a rare sight given the recent strife that had torn apart so many civilizations. She allowed herself to slip into the Force, her senses extending about her like a radiating warmth. She could feel Wyck in the area immediately about her, his presence well worn in the Force. The Force moved past each lifeform in ways unique to its circumstances. In her experience Kalee had grown to recognize that it flowed around younger lifeforms stiffer, and more sharply; as if the Force were still trying to get used to their presence and their impact on the balance as a whole. Ancient beings like Wyck, however, felt more at peace with the Force. It flowed about him smoothly, having grown comfortable with his presence, though still distinct from him as a whole. Beyond him she could feel the planet, brimming with energetic life - as if the air was tingling with the Force.

She intended to reach out towards the planet more, but she was stirred from her thoughts by the sound of Wyck's voice calling out to her. She slid from the sleepcouch where she sat, and moved into the cockpit, ducking her head as not to hit her forehead on the bulkhead. "I'm well, Master Wyck, I'm just glad to see that we're finally here." Her eyes wandered from the attentive gaze that they had given Wyck a moment prior, instead once more coming to rest on the nameless planet looming before them. "It feels so alive in the Force, as if the Jedi changed it when they were here.. The Force hasn't left it."
