I'm a selfish bastard and I don't like kids. I've had enough experience with my evil little nieces and my siblings bad parenting skills.

Strangly I like kids even when they're brats. I have to take care of em all the time for people at my church. Though when they start drawing on the carpet with markers and tearing up the poker cards in my family's game room I have been known to yell and yank things from their hands. :p

My favorite one was probably I broke the cheese. I've never seen a kid cry over such stupid things. :D

I can stand kids who aren't spoiled or stubborn, but a lot of kids that age currently are shockingly undisciplined. I would have been sore for weeks if I did half the stuff they do, and they don't even get told no!

Exactly, good parents more often than not equal good kids. Unfortunately there are very few good parents in this world. At least in my experience.

Yeah, I do. But...

1. The parents of two of my wee cousins are my Uncle and Aunt, who are very nice people overall.
2. I'd like to tell them they are disciplining their kids the wrong way, but my family seems to think it "rude" of me to tell them how to parent.
3. As the above two, I can't take my frustration out on either party that is to blame.

Why can't more people think like Javik, Adena? I doubt if they did, all kids would be nice like yours.

I don't have pictures, but here are some things the one year olds in my classroom cried over today (Full. On. Screaming): I took them off the changing table. I wouldn't let them eat goldfish off the floor. I wouldn't let them throw their friends plate on the floor. Another child was looking at the toy in their hands. Another child put a toy pot on their head. Another child touched them. They couldn't get the rocking toy to rock.

About parents and awful kids, I won't lie, parents are the hardest part of my job. We get enough time with the kids in instil our own discipline (Which for the little ones is a stern talk and redirection. Occasionally separation from the rest of the group, but not as a punishment), but the parents walk in and it all goes out the window. The kid that was just talking and drinking from a cup is suddenly a screaming mess at their mothers feet because that gets them what they want at home. Its horrible. The best thing you can do is tell your kid no. They'll cry. Ignore it. Or take pictures and post them on Tumblr.
