After bowing to the Japanese leader, Mahatma resumed conversation with Houshin.
"I don't think it would really matter as the bad guys will begin the war if we don't. And even if we do catalyze the war, reputation won't matter as we would be in total war and even if your reputation suffers, your allies will still be your allies and your enemies will still be your enemies. There will be few neutrals as the conflict will be global."

"Allies can become enemies with the right, or wrong, information leaked," answered Houshin.

After completing formalities, and smiling to the prime minister of Singapore for his politeness to use Japanese, he spoke up. ''If we start this war gentlemen, we will become the axis of evil. We should not start this war. I suggest we send in spies and other agents to find out what is going on. Starting wars is far too heavy handed an option.''

Marcel nodded in agreement with the leader of Japan. "Not to mention, monsieurs, that the rest of the world is at stake. Russia and China are very powerful. Many will suffer he, in Europe, the Americas, everywhere. We must take careful steps. We don't need to wound, if we don't know if we can kill it."

"I agree with the concept of espionage. If we are to take action, as Mahatma suggests, it should be in order to prepare ourselves for the possibilities," Houshin said confidently. "If we retrieve information, we can supply those allied to us with what we have uncovered, giving us, if temporarily, a sharper edge to use."

Marcel laughed to himself. "How do you plan to retrieve information from the Chinese or the Russians. They are not stupid, even if you sneaked into their ranks, they would never let an outsider get high enough and know information to benefit us. How could a Singaporean or an Indian get that high in rank unless they have had years of loyalty. You talk the impossible."

Marcel heard a ring come from his pocket. It was his satellite phone, he was being contacted by President Pierre LaRoche of France himself. Marcel answered it. "Monsieur President?.... Yes, monsieur, right away... Au revior." Marcel then closed the phone and repocketed it. "Monsieurs, France is currently launching an invasion of Tunisia."

Kaishen sighed, closing his eyes, and holding his head in his hands. ''Then you have just started World War III. China will fight back, bringing Russia in as well, and all there allies. You had better start appealing to everyone not allied with Russia or China, or you'll find yourself alone.'' Kaishen shuffled through his notes, looking over a favourite sheet of his: The statistics of his army and the RONIN unit that was ready to be deployed. The small size, yet elite training of his army made it useful if anyone ever tried to invade.

"What are you doing? First you tell me that you wanted peace but now, you're launching an assault on Tunisia. Are you crazy or something?" Mahatma said worried about what Marcel was doing.

Marcel looked at his feet then to the Indian leader. "I did not make the call, President LaRoche did. Several days ago, Tunisia launched a missile attack on France crippling several small towns on our southern coast."
