Atrer III/Atrer system
14:36 local time
nikolai_lockertsen_01.png

An imperial freighter cruised through the void in the Atrer system. Usually an imperial cargo freighter would be escorted by a fighter escort or supported by smaller craft, but in this case it was all alone. The cargo it carried could also be considered insignificant by some, but to the right people it was priceless.

In the cargo hold was crates upon crates of scriptures, artifacts and other cultural items. The majority was sith items, part of an archeological dig...but a significant portion of the cargo was also Jedi artifacts. These were all under the watchful eye of the Sith Crusader, Midwan Samekh. Being the sucker he was for stuff like this, he volunteered to personally watch over the ship. It also gave him time to get first-hand experience with the cultural items. And sure enough he was buried up to his neck in the items, translating this and inspecting that. He was like a kid in a sweets shop.

Or at least he would be...if a certain Jedi didn't find her way onboard for some reason. Mid had encountered this Jedi before quite recently, and he had hoped to meet her again...just not like this. Regardless, she was here and now he could see some more of her, albeit on the other side of a lightsaber blade.

The cargo freighter should have been the ideal, easy catch for the Galactic Alliance. With no escorts and such a valuable cargo, it was just something the Jedi Order couldn't let go. Especially since the cargo freighter moved through neutral territory, hijacking the ship could easily be blamed on pirates or Mandalorians instead of the Galactic Alliance. And yet, now Sakadi stared down the lone Sith aboard the ship, she understood why no fighter escort why necessary.

She had volunteered for this mission for two reasons. After her wounds had healed, the Knightess had seen little action. This seemed like the ideal mission to regain her strength and get back into the frey. She had to prove it to herself, that she was still capable of exerting the power of a Jedi Knight. And the second reason? Well, this mission was right up her ally. Infiltration, moving in enemy territory, staying undercover, that kind of work was her expertise.

Getting aboard the freighter, she had considered that to be the hard part. The rest would've been child play. What she and the Alliance had not taken into consideration, was that there could've been a Sith aboard. The very Sith who had defeated her in battle before. The very Sith who's lightsaber she carried right now.

She quickly ignited the red bladed weapon, it's crystal cold to her presence. It still hadn't accepted it's new owner, revolting against her at every opportunity it had. Thus, her blade felt heavier, slower and her overall prowess with the blade was nothing compared to what she had with her old lightsaber.

Sakadi took a Jedi ready stance, but no further attempt to attack the Sith. No, she had to be careful. Last time, he took he by surprise. She would not let that happen again. This time, she would be victorious.

There he stood, staring down not just any Jedi, but her. The same Jedi that had caught his attention on Tython and had given him what he could proudly call a "good fight". She ignited...a red blade? From a hilt with some parts that looked very familiar. He had to work hard to keep his laugh back. "Well little Jedi, I will admit that I did not expect to see you so soon again...nor did I expect to see you with one of my lightsabers." he said casually, resting against a crate with one hand on his remaining lightsaber and another on the handcannon strapped to his hip. The force was channeling through him, ready to attack at the drop of a hat, though his posture was anything but serious. It looked more like he was planning on having a chat than killing her.

He stood up and took a step closer, his helmet still obscuring his face with only his bright golden eyes staring at her through the visor. "Now, I already defeated you last time. Just give me back my weapon and leave already. I'd hate to watch the life drain from your eyes over something as simple as this." he warned her, nodding to the crates around them.

Knowing she wouldn't back down, his lightsaber snapped into his left hand and ignited. He raised the blade towards her to draw her in, taunting her. "You know, I never got your name. I like knowing the names of opponents that can give me a fight as good as that." he said to her. It was an odd thing to say. He wasn't insulting her or belittling her. It was a genuine compliment from the warrior. Probably the first and last time that would be happening between them.

Regardless of how the encounter in the cargo hold was going, the ship was experiencing issues. The commlinks in the ship were all shorted out, and doors stopped responding. Unbeknownst to anyone on the bridge, they had stumbled a little too close to the most dangerous anomaly in the system...

His blade? Oh now that was a misunderstanding on his part. The weapon was in her possession now. The crystal had not accepted it yet, but it had no choice. She was determined to keep the weapon, especially now she knew that he wanted it back. As he took a step in her direction, Sakadi changed her stance. She took the opening stance of Niman, with her blade held out in front of her body, with a one-handed grip. How he channeled the Force through his body had not gone unnoticed to her, and she was ready to respond in kind. It was just such a shame that her new lightsaber had other plans.

Without hesitation or fear did the Knightess stand her ground, mouth shut as she listened to his meaningless banter. It was a strange situation; the Sith was negotiating with her as he ignited his own red bladed weapon. A Sith, instead of a Jedi had the intentions to end the battle before it even began. Oh, the irony.

Her reluctance to negotiate with the Sith didn't mean that she had forgotten about the Jedi way. She was still the embodiment of patience and calmness, as she read his movement. It was clear as daylight that he tried to taunt her. But instead of falling for the taunt, Sakadi was scanning her surroundings, looking for any possible advantage she could gain in this cargo hold. Or anything worth taking with her, if she had to make an escape.

Their conversation was very one-sided, as Sakadi had no intention of responding to the Sith his small talk. Both because she knew it would anger him if she didn't, and simply because she wasn't interested in him at all. If she engaged this man in combat, then that would be because of personal reasons. But the Jedi code did not allow emotions to guide her. No, she had to accept that the mission came first. And the mission required her to secure the cargo. So that was her priority. The only reaction he got out of her, was the Knightess narrowing her gaze as she tried to guess what his first move would be.

Mid was getting annoyed with her lack of communication. It was clear she wasn't in a talkative mood. That was fine. He gave her an option to run and she didn't take it. "Alright, have it your way." he said coldly, giving his lightsaber a twirl before holding it at the ready. His body tensed up, his senses were wide open. His armour was fastened and his lightsaber...was flashing?

Mid's posture immediately changed as his lightsaber sputtered, flashed and finally burnt out. He stared at the hilt then at her with clear confusion. Her own lightsaber would short out not even a second later as well. Moving to his fallback plan he drew his Lullaby and fired from the hip...only it didn't shoot. It didn't even make a sound. Nothing worked...at least, nothing electronic. Mid was flabbergasted. He holstered his pistol and fell back to his Lanvarok, but before he could fire the ship suddenly lurched heavily. The movement was powerful enough to throw the both of them off their feet and into a stack of nearby crates. Warning sirens came up but suddenly shut off as well. The atmospheric controls shorted out as well, causing the temperature to start dropping as well. The shuddering and shaking didn't stop either.

Mid tried to hold on to whatever he could, but it didn't help and he was flung this way and that. A few "dings" could be heard as his armour crashed into stuff. Sakadi's fate might not be too different either.

The ship was caught in the gravity well of Atrer 3, and its notorious EMP field entirely blew every circuit on the ship. They were going down, and they were going down hard.

A few minutes later the ship crashed into the deserts of Atrer 3. It was a violent crash that sent anything not bolted down flying all over. Anything bolted down were torn off as well and flew as well. As it ploughed through the sands, the entire front half of the ship tore off. Finally the parts came to a halt and the heat of the desert flooded into the cargo hold. Mid groaned as he crawled out of a pile of crates. As soon as he was free he rolled onto his back with a grunt and further groaning. The sunlight poured into a part of the hold, catching him in the eyes. He squinted with a slight whimper and rolled over. It was then that he realized his helmet was shattered and a good chunk of it was torn off. He didn't want to know what would have happened to his face if he didn't wear it.

He crawled into some nearby shade and tried to sit up against a crate. Tearing his helmet off he threw it off to one side and leaned back with a growl. "What the kark was that?" he mumbled.

An opportunity arose as she patiently waited. Within seconds after the Sith was done talking, his lightsaber flashed and sputtered, extinguished immediately after. A smirk formed on her face as she saw the scenario unfold before her eyes. The Force seemed to favor her after all.

Moving as fast as lightning, Sakadi struck. Her lightsaber slashing at him with a diagonal cut, from her right shoulder to her left hip, just as he looked up. This was it. Her vict-... what? Her lightsaber moved straight through the Sith, but it left no burn marks. It didn't sever the Sith in two, nor did she hear any screaming or see him move to evade her attack. No, it was something entirely different. Her saber faltered and had extinguishe during her swing, just as his. Now dumbfounded, she looked at her opponent as he drew the pistol from his hip. But he didn't shoot? In an instantaneous reflex did she draw her own blaster pistol, only to figure out that her weapon malfunctioned as well. Luckily, there was one companion that would never fail her.

Swiftly did she draw upon the Force, channeling it through her body, her arm, as she directed the flow of the Force into a telekinetic blast the likes of which would tear her opponent apart. As she launched it, however, the ship shook heavily, causing her to completely miss her target. Instead, the blast of Force energy smacked against a couple of crates, which violently moved through the ship as the gravity systems shut down.

Failing to grab anything to keep her in place, Sakadi flung through the ship just like Mid, until she managed to grab something that could keep her (mostly) in place. That being the Sith's foot.

The crash was violent, but by some sort of miracle she didn't die. In fact, she even came out largely unscathed. She did not wear armor, instead wearing her normal scout and exploration attire. Therefore, she had some scratches, but no really large open wounds. It was truly nothing short of a miracle.

What was less pleasant though, was the man who sat opposite of her, in the shade. The red-skinned Sith no longer had a functioning helm, causing him to throw the remains of it away. Now, she stared straight into the bright, burning yellow eyes of the Sith. Again did she pay no mind to his mumbling, instead focusing on finding out where they had landed. Was this.. Atrer III? She had never been on this planet before, but it faintly reminded her of Jedha's desert.

"Start asking meaningful questions and focus on the present." Her tone was harsh and clear, but it lacked emotion. "Where are we, and how are we going to get out of here." She wasn't sure whether the Sith had opened his mind to the Force. There was always a chance that her telepathic messages didn't arrive, but deep down she had the feeling that the Sith would hear her voice, whether she liked it or not.

Mid sat where he found himself. He clutched his head, but several other places started to ache as well. That was one rough landing. But what took him by surprise was the sudden and rather rude voice he heard in his head. His eyes went wide as he looked up to her with confusion. "You're a telepath?" he asked her with a soft, confused tone.

He gave a slight shake of his head and looked back at her, though he was too tired now to try and fight further for the moment. "If my astronomy's correct, this is Atrer 3...and we got caught right in its electromagnetic field." he explained with a heavy sigh towards the end. He tried to stand up but with a growl he fell down immediately. "Kriff..." he growled as he looked at his leg, only now taking note of a piece of debris stabbed into his thigh right through his armour. "As for how we get out..." he started, loosening and taking off the piece of armour. "We don't...GAH!" he continued, yanking the piece of durasteel out and hurling it off to the side. He sighed and calmed himself as he tore a piece of cloth from his already torn cloak and tied it around the wound. "Not anytime soon, anyway." he finished.

He looked at her for a second or two. "If I remember correctly, there's an eclipse every once in a while that allows ships to pass, though when that is I have no idea." he explained further. He tried standing up, but in his current state he wasn't able to get up. In the back of his head he wanted to ask for help, but he was too proud. He was Sith! What would his people think if he asked a Jedi heretic for help?

He tried once more but simply fell back against the crate with a sigh, glaring at her with a hint of embarrassment in his golden eyes. "You're probably enjouing this, aren't you?" he said flatly.

Of course I'm a telepath... Sakadi thought. I haven't uttered a single word yet, have I... The sudden change in tone of the Sith annoyed her a little. Did he pity her? She hoped not. She didn't want his pity. After all, he was the one who had a large piece of shrapnel in his thigh.

If she would've been given the opportunity, she would have ditched the Sith right here. However, that was not an option. She didn't want to admit it, but the red-skinned Sith knew far more about Atrer III than she did. She needed him if she wanted to survive.

"I am a Jedi Knight, not a sadist." She conveyed. "But since we won't be leaving anytime soon, I suggest we get along for now." After her suggestion, the Knightess stood up and limped to the Sith's position. Despite having no visible injuries, she could not place any weight upon her ankle.

It took her a minute to reach the Sith. She moved hesistantly, for she did not trust him yet. Stepping within his reach meant placing her fate in his hands. He had the strength to break her neck with ease, and she was fully aware of it. "That piece of cloth is not gonna help you. Remove it." Her tone was devoid of emotion again, and slightly authoritative.

If Mid would remove his improvised bandage, Sakadi would place both her palms upon the wound. Taking a deep breath, she focused on the flow of the Force, transferring the energy to heal her target. She wasn't entirely sure whether her Light side healing techniques would work on the Sith's Dark side invigorated body, but it was worth trying. Her palms would start to glow purple, as she did everything she could to reduce the pain.

Mid eyed her with her comment, but right now he couldn't find the mindset to act all snarky with her. But she had a point. As much as the two of them hated it, she was right. He tensed up as she limped over to him. His knife was still perfectly fine and his Lanvarok wasn't electronic. If she moved against him, he was ready. But she didn't. Instead she commanded him to remove the bandage. "I know how to fix it, dammit. I just need something to..." he tried to argue, but instead he fell silent as he glared at her. With a huff he did as she ordered and took off the bandage.

He got ready to snap her neck right around as she knelt beside him. But instead of trying to get a cheapshot on him she started to...heal the wound? He watched with curiosity as she healed the wound. He felt the pain starting to fade and soon enough his leg was as good as new. He looked at her with something between admiration and bewilderment. It didn't last long, though, as that angry glare of his returned. He didn't say anything for a few seconds before sagging his shoulders. "Sit down. Let me look at that ankle of yours." he ordered her this time.

If she listened, he would remove her boot and sock carefully to not hurt her. It felt odd, being so gentle with a Jedi, especially given the history between these two. But he didn't go out of his way to harm her. He carefully inspected her ankle, gently feeling around it and looking for any internal injuries. "Nothing's broken or torn. Just got banged up a bit. It'll be fine, just go easy. Should be fine in a day or two." he explained to her calmly. He looked up at her into her eyes. That cold glare returned and he looked away for a second before looking back. "Thank you...for the leg." he mumbled and left it at that.

He stood up and cracked his back a bit before rolling his shoulders. He looked back at her and held a hand out to help her up...but he pulled it away as his eyes narrowed and he looked off into the distance outside of the ship. "You feel that?" he asked her. "Something's coming." he said and yanked her up onto her feet.

On the horizon, a dust cloud was visible as something was heading for them...

Her healing techniques were on point, as usual. Proud of her work, Sakadi removed her hands as the wound had almost fully healed. She could breathe at ease again. Not only because she had restored the mobility of her only ally, but also because he hadn't strangled her. It was slightly exhilarating, risking her own life to heal such a monstrous man.

In turn, he offered to take a look at her ankle. Gritting her teeth, Sakadi obeyed his order. She truly didn't trust this man and being at his mercy? Well it made her uncomfortable. Her discomfort soon faded though, as the Sith was trying to be as gentle as he could be. Wait, since when were Sith gentle? He still glared at her, but she couldn't blame him. After all, her own expression wasn't inviting either. She even frowned when he thanked her. What was he trying to do? Act kind? Thankful? Despite their situation, they were still sworn enemies. That was why she didn't accept his extended hand at first, but when the Force alarmed her, she felt glad that the man yanked her up onto her feet.

With a single nod, she confirmed what he sensed. Sakadi took position next to the Sith, reaching for her lightsaber. True, the weapon no longer worked, but were their attackers willing to test that theory? After all, fighting Jedi and Sith, that was not a risk people generally liked to take.

Still attuned to the Force, she reached out, both with the Force and her hand. "I can't sense their exact numbers. All I know is that there are many. And they are quite excited. We might have to take cover if they start shooting." Sakadi turned to look at the remains of their ship. If her assumptions were right, these men weren't coming over for tea. And they were in no state to hold off the raiders, atleast not at distance. Their best bet would be to draw them in a melee battle, which meant that they needed a lot of cover. Luckily for them, the remains of the ship provided them with just that.

"If we can't bluff our way out, we'll have to draw them in."

Mid looked down at her then at the dust cloud. "I doubt these people even know what Sith or Jedi are. I'd prefer we don't test them. Besides, they don't look like the type to stand idle and ask questions." he commented. He looked around then at what was left of his arsenal. "We draw them in. We still have the Force and a few other tricks up our sleeve. Taking them by surprise is our best chance." he explained. He looked at her then at his armament. He had his knife that she wouldn't dare use. Not with the amount of dark side energy flowing from it. And his Lanvarok was way too big for her. She wouldn't be able to use it.

"come on, let's find cover." he said and looked around the hold. A few piles of crates were scattered around. Excellent hiding place for the two of them. He took cover behind a pile and checked if she did the same. As he waited, he drew the force through him, readying himself for battle.

The vehicles coming at them were primitive and loud, not like anything Mid had seen before. In a way, he was quite curious over it. He ducked back down as the raiders got closer. If he had to guess, there were about 50 of them. Under normal circumstances, those were not even cause for concern. But now with them as beat up as they were and with no proper weapons, things were looking a little against them. As he hid, he heard the distinct sounds of slugthrowers loading. Though his cover, he gave the Jedi a look.

The laughing and cackling got closer and louder, and through it he heard them kicking open crates and turning over remains of the ship as they started plundering the wreck. He waited until a few made their way inside before acting.

With a growl, he released a force push that sent the crates crashing into the raiders. Capitalizing on the surprise, he emptied his Lanvarok into 5 of them before drawing his knife. It didn't take long for them to figure out that it was an ambush. Shots filled the air as Mid charged at them, hacking, stabbing and cleaving through a few. Shots plinked off his armour, but he knew it wouldn't hold for long.

They had to move fast...

Taking them by surprise, that wasn't a bad idea. She didn't want to promote violence; if she had the chance, she would negotiate first. But both of them knew that these raiders were not the type to sit down and talk. It left her with very little options.

Sakadi glanced at her temporary ally. He was well equipped, still having two weapons he could use. She wasn't that luck; her blaster pistol and her lightsaber would both be useless; she needed something else. Scanning through the remains of the ship, her eyes fell upon a slightly bent metal bar. It wasn't optimal, but it would do the job.

Like Mid, Sakadi took cover behind a couple of crates. She would wait for his signal; she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself, given she had no armor or backup weaponry.

When Mid launched the crates, Sakadi called upon the Force herself. Under normal circumstances, she would've strengthened her own body to engage the men in physical combat. But because she still couldn't rely upon her ankle, she was forced to take a different approach.

With a single gesture of her hand, four large and sharp pieces of shrapnel were launched at the closest vehicle. One of the pieces missed, but the other three hit the mark. The passengers managed to jump out just in time, as the vehicle exploded. But it wasn't enough. The raiders further back were already aiming at her and the Sith. And how could they possibly stop 30 slugthrowers?

The Jedi made quick work of one of the vehicles, but the passengers were unharmed. Mid focused on taking out as many as he could. One shot zipped past his face, leaving a light cut across his cheek but he didn't flinch. With his knife and the force, he tore more than a few raiders apart. He knew acting like a barbaric animal would keep the attention on him, leaving the Jedi to support from a distance...at least he hoped she did. He was putting a lot of faith in the Jedi for this fight.

He grabbed hold of another raider, readying to tear his throat out. But a sudden shot through the unarmoured part of his leg interrupted him. He faltered, almost dropping to one knee, but he recovered to end the raider's life. From a distance, some raiders were focusing their fire on the Jedi.

Things took a turn when a sudden blow to the head knocked Mid down to the ground. It took a second to recover, but when he managed to focus again he was staring down the barrel of a rifle in his face. A few more came to join and soon he was surrounded. Several others also moved to corner the Jedi, pointing easily 6 or so weapons at her from behind cover. Mid wanted to make a move, but with the shot through his leg and the adrenaline wearing off he was done. Making a move now would be the death of him and probably her as well. With hesitation, he dropped his knife and raised his hands. He glanced over to the Jedi in hopes that she didn't try anything stupid.

"Wha' do we got here, boys?!" one of them called out. "Two feisty su'vivors, hey?" he said, looming over Mid and glancing at the Jedi. "You better stand down, missy. 'Else your friend here dies." he said to her, pointing a pistol at Mid's head.

Sakadi flung shrapnel in all directions, hitting the raiders in legs, shoulders, chests, often followed by painful screams. The few who were as unfortunate to get close to her fortified position, got acquainted with the metal bar in her hand. But they were fighting an uphill battle and even their combined strength wasn't enough to grant them victory.

Her attention suddenly shifted to her ally, as she saw him fall to the ground. The unfortunate lad who managed to bring down the red-skinned giant would be hit by a metal crate of his size only a second after. Sadly, that was the final move she could make. Defending her ally meant giving up her own position. Sakadi stared at the six gun barrels in front of her. Yeah, she wasn't going to evade that in time. Not without her lightsaber.

Deciding that it was best to stop resisting, Sakadi turned to what appeared to be their spokesman. Her gaze shifted between Mid and the spokesman, as if she was weighing her options. If the Sith died, she would technically lose nothing of importance. These raiders probably knew just as much about the planet, likely even more than Mid did. So why exactly would she save him?

Sakadi bit her lip as she made choice. The Knightess dropped the metal bar, glaring at Mid with "You lost first" written all over her face.

"That's better. Don't wanna ruin that pretty lil' face of yours."

Two men came in her direction, one carrying handcuffs. With a deep sigh, Sakadi accepted her surrender and allowed the men to cuff her hands behind her back.

"So, ye got anythin' of value in 'ere?" He asked them with a triumphant smirk, as he gesture at the remaining crates.

Mid wasn't impressed by her look. He'd love to see her try and do as much damage as him with the amount of people shooting at them. But nevertheless, she surrendered and the both of them were cuffed.

They were forced onto their knees next to each other. Mid looked up at the leader as they were questioned. "Medical supplies and a few weapons in the cockpit. unless you find the right buyer off the planet, this cargo is useless." he stated flatly. Given their situation, this cargo was worthless to them. And as much sentimental value as it held, it wouldn't help them get off this planet. They needed to let it go unfortunately...

His thoughts were pulled back to the raiders. The way they looked at them was unsettling. No, not them...her. One didn't need to be able to use the force to figure out what was going through their heads. "You better watch your back with these guys." he thought in his head, speaking telepathically with the Jedi. He hoped she was listening. In truth, it was of no concern if she got mishandled by the raiders. She was nothing to him...but at the same time he needed her. He wouldn't be able to get off this planet alone.

The raiders worked their way through the wreckage. Anything of value was loaded into and onto their buggies, while their two prisoners were tied down in the backseat of one of the buggies.

"Things just went from bad to worse." Mid mumbled, leaning back into the seat.

Sakadi patiently sat on her knees next to her much taller accomplice. Getting captured was nothing new to her. Specializing in undercover and infiltration missions, she was used to playing the captive. That didn't make it any better though, as the lustful glances and staring raiders did not go unnoticed to her. It was one of the major reasons why she disliked outlaws, pirates and raiders. They were always driven by the same desires. Sadly for her, she was often the object of one of those vulgar desires.

Releasing a loud sigh, Sakadi responded to his telepathic message. "Pirates, raiders, thugs, it's always the same story. I regret to inform you that I'm quite used to it."

As two of the raiders tied them down in the backseat of one of the buggies, Sakadi took the liberty of counting exactly how many raiders there were left. "There are 39 men left in this raiding party. But I doubt that's all of them. Perhaps we can find something useful in their camp, if they don't put us to work first..."

After 20 minutes or so, the raiders were ready to leave. With a lot of laughter, did they start their buggies. The men on the vehicle behind them couldn't help but ridicule the prisoners, or so it seemed, as they kept pointing at her and Mid. Oh, this was going to be a long journey back to their camp..

There was a stark difference between the attitudes of Sakadi and Mid. Sakadi, being used to situations like this, had an aura of calm around her. Mid, on the other hand, was about as calm as a feral Nexu forced into a corner. Despite his stalwart stature, he was ready to explode. Never before had he been captured, and he never got on his knees for anyone other than a shrine to the Dark Side. He glanced at her as she spoke to him. It was a little disconcerting that she was used to it. What kind of people did she hang out with?

In the buggie, she counted the raiders and seemed to work on some sort of plan. "I dare them to try and put me to work." he mumbled, eyeing the raiders. He was a warrior and a priest, not some lowly slave to be put to work. After a while they were on the move. With nothing better to do, Mid relaxed and leaned into the rough seat. "You have a name?" he asked her. He didn't expect her to answer, but he was curious.

Are you kidding me...
the Knightess thought, as Mid did not stop moving for a single moment. "Oh by the universe! Can you just stop moving and relax a little!? Conserve your energy and take this opportunity to get some sleep, we won't be getting any when we'll arrive." The frustration of the Knightess could clearly be felt, as she conveyed her telepathic message to him. "Besides, why in the name of the Force would I ever give you my name? When I said 'let's get along', I meant a temporary truce. So stop acting so chummy with me." she transferred, with her chin held high and a refusal to make eye contact. She wasn't trying to be arrogant in any way, but everything about him annoyed her. From his banter, his size, the fact that he destroyed her lightsaber, to his unwillingness to surrender. She would've abandoned him long ago, if she didn't need him for her escape plan.

"If you stop struggling, I shall give you my name." If Mid did as she asked and calmed down, Sakadi would continue, starting with another deep sigh. "We are not on first name basis. But luckily for you, I've got a middle name." the Sephi paused and hesitated for a moment. She didn't want the Sith to know anything about her at all. But it was fair to atleast give her something to refer to her.

"You can call me Marathi."

Indeed Mid couldn't stop fidgeting. He was constantly shifting, trying to cut through or tear apart the rope holding his hands together. Under normal circumstances he could do it, but right now he was too weak. She had a point. He was tired, his leg was in pain and his body was battered. He gave her a huff and tried to relax, though his armour didn't make it easy.

Her next ranting earned a glare from him"I prefer to know the name of a warrior that actually gave me a good fight. So far you Jedi have been rather mediocre." he explained rather coldly. While it was actually a compliment, he knew the hubris little jedi wouldn't exactly see it that way.

Eventually she gave him a name. From what she said it was her second name. He leaned back and with a sigh he closed his eyes. "Mid." he introduced himself rather curtly.

This was going to be a very long trip...
