Herrith cocked an eyebrow back at the man sitting across from her as the musician revealed his true intent for this place. Makes sense.

She was quite the opposite of drunk or even intoxicated and had yet to lower her guard, it appeared the man drinking beside her was trying to get something out of her. Information, maybe a fun night. Force knows. She was open to both. Not like there was anything better to do. But the musician's plan sounded exciting. Perhaps she'd agree.

The Zeltron refocused on the musician as he finished his schpeel. Her face showed nothing but amusement.
"Well kriff, I'm in if Hotshot next to me is, too."

Tango made a sly face of distaste and interest. He liked the way this man worked but didn't like the questions he asked, never the less he answered them with confidence but with slight boredom.

"I'm Tango Jorl, a big time musician and a smuggler. I make a career out of my music and even then I'll have enough credits to get you somewhere. I'll be willing to split 2500 credits. But if you stay in for this job long enough you might end up with enough to fill a leviathan class shuttle. He wanted to have be killed because of this here."

He pointed to his flute which gleamed silver again at the end. It looked stainless but that was just part of the appearance as the end of the blade with was stained with blood.

"Apparently is has a history with a krayt dragon and tusken raiders and from what I know its fossilized which I still don't know much about. It stole it from him and he wants me dead and sent some men after me. With a new ally of mine we took them down and now it pay back."

He then turned his attention away from his blade and back to both of them with interest and asked.

"interested?"

So this was Tango, the name Mkvenner recognised on the invite. He'd never seen the man before, but his name was thrown around the outer rim smuggling rings fairly regularly. Mkvenner wasn't sure if the fame meant he was great or terrible at his job, but it didn't matter at the moment.

They weren't looking to smuggle the ship offworld, they were simply looking to take it.

"Well kriff, I'm in if Hotshot next to me is, too."

The woman's response was as cagey as he'd expected, even if it sounded warm and sociable. She wore the glimmer of a smile as if the whole thing were a big joke, but Mkvenner couldn't see much of a funny side to what Tango was proposing. In the end she left the choice with him, perhaps looking to sound him out as much as he was her.

He was looking forward to figuring her out, to solving the puzzle. But was that pull enough to get him to kill?

Mkvenner considered the offer for what it was. Over a thousand credits for aiding in a simple robbery on a world where such things were overlooked every day by law enforcement was more than fair, made even moreso by the fact that almost everyone here apart from Mkvenner's would be accomplices was drunk. On the downside innocents would get hurt. People with no connection at all to the feud between Tango and Alzor would die tonight, and if Mkvenner helped there would be an equal share of the blood on his hands. Dead bystanders was something the mercenary did his best to avoid at all times, he wasn't a monster.

His mind flitted to a hidden place on a hidden world - to a friend, to his son. How many others here tonight had people relying on them, just like he did? What example was he setting to his son?

Mkvenner blinked, the only physical sign that he was lost in thought, halfway across the galaxy. In the end it was pointless worrying about everyone, he knew were the situation reversed almost everyone at this party would jump at the chance to kill him and take his ship for a thousand credits. Why care about these people if they didn't care about him? Besides, he could use the money.

Nar Shadda was a bust for him up until now. At least if he went it was free passage offworld.

“Fine. We're in for 1250 each, but I've got one condition. We don't just bug out off world, I've got a stop to make first. Some gear I can't leave behind, it won't take long. Do we have a deal, Tango?"

His words said one thing, but his stony gaze promised altogether another: Betray me and die.

The group of three laughed, each with a fresh drink in their hands that Caleb had bought for each of them. He brought the glass up to his lips and took a sip, the bitterness of the drink meant that there was quite a bit more alcohol in this one than usual.
"Hmmm.. Oh. Why is a droid's mechanic never lonely?" The green skinned Twi'lek asked Caleb and the human woman, her accent sounding fresh from Ryloth. Caleb and the other woman looked at eachother for a moment, puzzled, before Caleb turned back to her. "I don't know, why?"
"Because he is always making new friends!" The three shared a laugh again over the Twi'lek's sub-par joke. Despite how many times he had heard that one before, he was going to make sure to get on this woman's good side. His free arm that was leaning on the counter behind him was stretched out behind the Twi'lek's back. He gently curled his fingers so they grabbed onto her waist. She looked at him with eyes matching her skin and winked. The woman then looked at her other friend, who was looking past them with a smirk and bedroom eyes. "What is it?"

"It Tango." she said with a sigh "Tango?" Caleb replied, never hearing of the name. She pointed the man out for him, a Bith musician speaking with another two who were sitting down, holding some sort of flute. Caleb chuckled, "Didn't take you as the type to go for a Bith.. No offense."
"Normally no.. but the way he handles that flute..." she said with a giggle. "Why not go talk to him? I'm sure I can keep Leena here company while you're gone."
She stared into her drink and shrugged her shoulders. That was when Caleb took his arm out from behind Leena and stood up straight, "How about I go talk to him for you. I'll pass on some good words and maybe get him to come over here." he turned to the Twi'lek, gently touching the bottom of her chin with his knuckle. "Don't go too far."

With drink in hand, the man walked across the party floor to where he saw the Bith speaking with a human and a Zeltron. From what Caleb could assume, he was merely showing off his prized instrument to a couple of fans. Nothing that he would truly be interrupting.
"Hey there, Tango I presume? I have a friend over there that-"
Caleb's eyes went from Tango, to the Zeltron, to the Human. The look on their faces said that this conversation was not exactly pleasure, and that he had, in fact, interrupted something important.
"I'm... sorry. I'll just.. talk to you later."

He nodded as he understood the man's expression and tossed the two data pads that allowed him to communicate with each other. He began to make sure nobody was listening in on him and moved in closer to whisper distance between the two and he said.

"Use those to stay in contact, when I say ship berry head to the terrace and meet the rest of us-"

He was cut off by the voice of a man behind him engaging in conversation with him.

"Hey there, Tango I presume? I have a friend over there that-"

The man seemed to pause as Tango turned around with a somewhat excited face. The plan was going with few flaws and this was a good chance to get out of suspicion as he didn't mind the interruption. The guards began to move around into the party more and more as it slowly began urgent as if they were now making a double check as a few went in and out and every time they go close to Tango he looked away and threw on a hat he took from some drunk person and gave back.

"I'm... sorry. I'll just.. talk to you later."

He noticed the man was going to say something that might have triggered his instincts and said quickly before the man left.

"No need friend, I was just finishing up with this conversation. You said you have a friend?"

He finished speaking an turned his head to the point where the Zeltron and the man could see his mouth and he mouthed the words.

Mingle with each other and wait.

Herrith tipped her head. Good deal. Whatever the man had to stop off at first, hopefully it was quick. Tango tossed her a datapad, which she caught, and then continued.
"Use those to stay in contact, when I say ship berry head to the terrace and meet the rest of us-"

He was interrupted by what appeared to be a fan and mouthed a sentence to the two. She rose an eyebrow before swiveling in her seat, ordering another glass of whiskey. Better to wait with a drink than with nothing at all. Plus, it gave the human the incentive to order another one and stop trying to ask questions that didn't necessarily need to be answered. Not that the conversation was unwelcome, it was just that sometimes privacy is a bonus.

"So now we've got a job."

The Zeltron nonchalantly took a sip from her whiskey before turning her head slightly to watch Tango. Force knows if he was some kind of undercover cop or Imp.

The datapad clattered to the table and Mkvenner looked down at its grimy screen. Picking it up and stowing it in a pocket, he nodded once. A pact was struck. Immediately after Tango was interrupted by another reveller, someone who was apparently enjoying themselves a lot more than Mkvenner was.

His gut twinged with a pang of guilt, but it faded quickly. His mind had been made up, all was agreed. He wondered how many innocents were about to meet their end, completely oblivious to the oncoming storm. Was this man one of them?

He checked himself again. There were no innocents on Nar Shadda, only varying degrees of the guilty.

The bith turned away, mouthing for them to make nice again as he went with this bystander. Mkvenner had no problem with this at all, though the zeltron ordered another drink. He did the same, another beer still wasn't going to affect him - leaving both his body and his mind clear and ready to react quickly.

"So now we've got a job."

She appeared indifferent, which fit the profile he was building of her in his mind. Sipping from his fresh bottle and turning it idly in his hands, Mkvenner also assumed an air of nonchalance. She watched their new partner in crime as intently as Mkvenner watched her, assumedly gauging his trustworthiness. Mkvenner for his part fully expected to be stabbed in the back by someone on this endeavour, such was the way of things with business on Nar Shadda, he just wasn't sure who it was going to be.

The bith, with his free and easy promises of coin? Or the woman who Mkvenner suspected was the most dangerous thing in this room, himself included. One thing was for certain: He trusted neither of them. This was going to be an interesting night.

The suggestion of a smile playing about his lips, Mkvenner nodded at her as he continued playing with the bottle. He raised it in the woman’s direction, before draining the fresh beer in one.

“To colleagues, then. What's your name? Unless you prefer to go by Zeltron.”

The nervous feeling Caleb had in his gut about interrupting what looked like an important meeting was broken away by Tango's inviting smile and voice. Being on a planet filled with twice as much scum and villainy than any other underworld planet, the ginger haired smuggler half expected to be shot down where he stood. Instead, the Bith caught on with what Caleb was speaking of and asked of this friend he mentioned.

"Yeah, there's a woman over there who was quite ..captivated.. by how you play that flute." The man said, a smirk curling on his face.

He turned his head to point in the direction of where the two woman stood, and his smirk turned into a frown. Frantically, his head looked left and right, his eyes scanning the bar. Had he forgotten where they were? No, he was not that drunk.

"Sith spit.." he cursed to himself before turning back around to the musician with a heavy sigh. "Looks like I was just being played. Sorry to bother you."
He looked past Tango to the human and the Zeltron sitting at the table with their drinks and nodded his head, extending the apology to them as well.

He had noticed while talking to the musician that he seemed a bit cautious. Any time guards at the party would pass near him, he seemed to turn his head or disguise himself in some way. Caleb felt something was off, but then again, this was Nar Shaddaa, everyone from this planet has had some history they may not like speaking of. That was when the the light above them, gently swinging back and forth, seemed to catch the end of the Bith's flute. A shimmer from the tip caught Caleb's eye, drawing the olive orbs to it. The smuggler was no musician himself, but he knew weapons; and this flute had a sharp edge to it. Caleb's eyes went back up to Tango's, a brow cocked. The man went to turn away, knowing for sure he had interrupted something. He was feeling done with this party, and this planet.

Tango waved his hand in a somewhat type of alert kind of way. He still needed to ask this guy if he wanted to join his job but was still sad about this mans friend not truly meeting him. Scooting that subject away he reached for the mans shoulder before he left and offered him a canister of bantha mlk. He then told this person "Hey, I still need to ask something of you friend" as he gestured for them to quickly sit down at a table in the corner. When he didn't spot was a guard that was heading there way. He slowly began to walk through the crowd with his new friend and leaned in to tell him a few things.

"The guy who threw this party wants me dead and try'd to have me killed. Now I say an eye for an eye."

As he gestured through the window to the ship on the landing pad which seemed to be something good and worth having. through the faint cockpit of the ship you can see a few credits.

"We take the ship and escape from the planet with it. I forgot to mention sadly one things.. well that can wait. So if you interested in your share of credits which is 2500 then you might as well help with your skills. Since you look like a smuggler and a good one at that. So what-"

He was cut of by the shout of a guard who was not directly behind him and shouted "THERE HE IS! ITS TANGO JORL!!" Out loud and on there comms which seemed to alert all the guards as some got there rifle ready and other got there vibro blades ready. On the porch above the party Alzor came charging out and pointed his own phrik sword at Tango and said sickly "I want him alive, I want to make him suffer for what he did to me and my face...". The second he finished talking all the guards engaged on Tango. Tango with a look of shock and surprise tapped a datapad that was now in his hand and yelled.

"SHIP BERRY!"

As everyone he gave a datapad to had received the comms message and Tango fired two blaster bolts out of his flute at two of the guards in front of him, Killing them on contact. Alzor jumped of the porch and landed on his feet unharmed but showed a slight jolt of pain. He then charged at Tango as Tango made his way to the window that led to porch and unsheathed his phrik sword from his flute and shattered the window and made his way to the ship, waiting for at least some of his comrades to help him as more guards came into the room.

Out of the corner of her eye, Herrith spotted the other man raising his fresh bottle and speaking.
“To colleagues, then. What's your name? Unless you prefer to go by Zeltron.”

She picked up her own glass and tapped his bottle briefly, downing the remainder of the whiskey before replying with a slight smile.
"Name's Herrith. I'm a terrible smuggler, and a worse Zeltron. Sue me. You?"

The Zeltron kept wary of the crowd despite the casual conversation, and had good enough of an ear to hear a bit of an argument going along with a familiar voice and a screaming mad one.
"SHIP BERRY!"

She laughed a short laugh before standing up and pulling a knife from her sleeve with a smile, pivoting on her heel towards the direction of the ships.
"That's us, stranger! Let's have some fun."

Herrith practically skipped into the crowd, twirling her knife like a girl holding a lollipop.

"Name's Herrith. I'm a terrible smuggler, and a worse Zeltron. Sue me. You?"

Herrith. Mkvenner didn't recognise the name, so she couldn't be as bad a smuggler as she claimed. As for being a bad zeltron he was hardly qualified to say, since Mkvenner knew almost nothing about them - but if she was a bad one he decided probably didn't want to meet a good one. They must be such boring things, empty and without guile... Not nearly as much fun as Herrith.

Before he could reply, the datapad crackled to life in his pocket. The signal. Herrith’s eyes lit up as she produced a wicked looking knife, getting up and heading right for the ships.

"That's us, stranger! Let's have some fun."

Rising a heartbeat behind her, Mkvenner followed in the wake Herrith caused as people frantically got out of the knife wielding Zeltron’s way. It wasn't exactly inconspicuous, but at least he didn't have to push and shove. He didn't even draw a weapon, there was no need just yet. He held his now empty bottle in his right hand as he walked.

Given Tango had just thrown himself out of a window onto the exterior docking porch, and Alzor’s apparent thirst for his blood, there were 5 guards already massing at the door between himself, Herrith and their money. One of them, a grizzled looking nautolan, looking inwards while the others lined up shots on the bith and started firing, noticed Herrith as she parted the crowd, skipping towards the door. Shouting something in huttese another pair, gamorreans, turned and pointed rifles at the woman.

Mkvenner couldn't speak Hutt, but in this case he knew what they meant. Fortunately, they weren't pointing guns at him. A window.

The only warning the first gamorrean got was lost in the noise of party goers yelling and trying to leave. A slight shattering noise, glass breaking on a table. A second later it was already too late for the 7 foot tall alien as a man rushed past the Zeltron, took one bounding step and plunged a shattered beer bottle into its eyes, blinding it forever. With his other hand Mkvenner relieved the stricken thug of his rifle, at the same time turning his momentum into a shoulder barge that knocked his opponent flat.

Mkvenner was left standing over the writhing form of a gamorrean desperately picking shards of glass from the ruined mess of his face, an ancient looking heavy blaster rifle in his hands. His face grim, he pulled the trigger and held it down.

The music stopped. People threw themselves to the floor, finding cover where they could. Fully automatic blaster fire raked through the 2 guards facing Herrith, who were yet to react to this new threat. They were torn apart beneath the onslaught of dozens of heavy rounds at point blank range.

The screaming almost drowned out the heavy staccato thud of the gun. Almost.

As the smuggler turned to return to drinking himself, he heard the Bith he was just speaking with say that he wanted ask Caleb something instead. Interested in what the man had to offer, he turned to face him, a curious look on his face. The Bith gestured to a nearby table, inviting the human to sit and chat for a moment. Caleb complied, walking beside the man who leaned in closer to whisper to him.
"The guy who threw this party wants me dead and try'd to have me killed. Now I say an eye for an eye."
As he said so, he pointed to a cruiser landed on the loading dock just outside, the man who threw the party's personal ride, Caleb assumed. He eyed the ship as Tango continued on with his plan. However, he was starting to feel cautious about this idea. The man could be lying, and could simply just be a pirate wanting to steal this wealthy man's ship. In his right mind, Caleb should have refused the man's offer and left the party before the fireworks started. Should have.
"We take the ship and escape from the planet with it. I forgot to mention sadly one things.. well that can wait. So if you interested in your share of credits which is 2500 then you might as well help with your skills. Since you look like a smuggler and a good one at that. So what-" "THERE HE IS! ITS TANGO JORL!!"
Before the smuggler even had a chance to reply, the guards who patrolled the party were already on to the man, weapons primed and ready to fire. Caleb's eyes shot from Tango, to the man who shouted down the commands to the guards, and back to Tango. "SHIP BERRY!" The bith yelled before taking off running.
And then all hell broke loose, the guards went after Tango, and the two he was talking to earlier, the human and Zeltron, went running after him. Caleb saw a group of guards go after them. Turning his head once more, he saw another two guards, one pointing at Caleb, the other raising his rifle. Dammit, they saw him talking to him. Looks like he had no choice. The smuggler quickly dropped to the floor and flipped the table to block the incoming blaster fire. Once the guard took a second for his weapon to cool down, Caleb ripped his blaster out of its holster and took off running after Tango and the rest.
As he neared the window Tango had jumped from, a helmeted guard bashed his rifle into Caleb's shoulder, stopping him from following the Bith. The smuggler quickly turned and balled his mechanical hand into a fist before letting it fly into the visor of the helmet, shattering it and knocking the guard out.

"This is not how I expected this party to go.." Caleb said, trying to get a location on Tango and the others.

He'd had, begun to walk towards the person, Tango had pointed, when he stopped as a voice shouted.

"THERE HE IS! ITS TANGO JORL!"

Kriff, he thought they'd at least make somewhat of a plan, now however Tango had leaped through a window, and guards were swarming into the building. He'd sigh, it seemed was just as impulsive and reckless as in Bespin, however at least he didn't alert an entire wing guard.

He'd look over his shoulder, as a guard raised a rifle towards him. Nec would then quickly turn, drawing his blaster pistol from it's holster, firing a bolt into the guard's shoulder. He'd, then squeeze the trigger, firing a bolt into the man's neck. The guard would collapse the ground dead. Nec would begin walking up towards the broken window that Tango had kept out of.

"Looks like our friend has left for the fun without us." He'd day to the person, Tango was talking with earlier. He'd hope Rango got this man to work with him, it'd at least make his job a tad easier.

The other smuggler had relieved a Gamorrean of its weapon and hosed down two of its buddies. That just left the Nautolan. She flipped her knife, the Nautolan only having enough time to turn, and sent it flying towards his chest.

It struck true, the man however having enough adrenaline to punch her in the face, as by this time she had come to retrieve her knife from a dead body. He pulled the knife out and slashed at her, in which the Zeltron ducked and punched him in his knife wound before grabbing the arm holding her weapon from her lowered position and bringing it down at the elbow onto her shoulder, catching her knife as it fell from his broken arm and finishing the fight with a slash to the throat.

Herrith turned to where she thought her smuggler friend was and tipped her head towards the ship before running out.

Alzor kept on the chase with Tango as he approached the window, ignoring everyone else who had interfered. Tango made his way to the ship after looking over the two dead gaurds he shot down and a new idea appeared in his hand, but that was for another time. He reached the ship and used his blade to pick open the cockpit as he crawled into it. He then realized this ship wasn't the one Alzor used before. Tango ducked as a blaster bolt flew over his head. It was a 527 series armed pinnace. It was smaller than the one Alzor used. Tango shrugged at the thought as mumbled to himself.

"Take what you can get tango, take what you can get..."

He then began to flip a few switches which made the engine of the ship hum to life. He then yelled back into the datapad which allowed him to speak to his comrades.

"It only has one seat, any plans?"

His chances were slim, but it was still chance as he began to hotwire the ship and was able to close the cockpit and activate the triple turrets on the ship but was still working on shooting it. While the guards did fall to the squad the last of the guards came into the room. 4 of them which made about 7 in the room with them, including Alzor it'll be 8.

One could be forgiven for not being able to see that the hellish scene now playing out on the top floor of this particular tower block had ever been a party. The floor was littered with corpses and debris and now mostly deserted, a few drunken stragglers leaving either by stair or lift, doing their best to keep away from the fighting. Even though most here were criminals and vagabonds themselves, it was never good business to get involved in beef that wasn't your own. It was the first rule any good gangster learned.

Mkvenner was not a gangster. He involved himself in almost any dispute, provided someone met his fee - the only exception being those contracts that stood to benefit the empire. There were some acts that were not worth any possible reward.

As he watched Herrith dispatch the nautolan guard with military efficiency, he couldn't help but admire her technique. Where she had learned to kill so cleanly was a question for a quieter moment however, they still had to get out of here alive. She tilted her head and Mkvenner followed, their path now clear of guards. He dropped the rifle he'd taken, having blown through an entire clip in one orgy of destruction.

Wind whipped up from below as they strode onto the exterior porch. Ahead of them was a ship, decidedly smaller than was promised, spooling up its engines and a trio of blasters. More guards were thundering up behind them, but Mkvenner and Herrith had a decent head start. There was an issue abundantly clear to Mkvenner though, even given his limited knowledge when it came to ships.

He didn't even need the datapad to tell him, barely audible over the wind and the sporadic gunfire. There wasn't room for more than one, and Tango was already inside. Mkvenner swore under his breath, an ugly slur he was usually too reserved or too professional to use.

It was a good thing he'd not had much to drink. Mkvenner had a plan.

“Take off! Don't wait for a grenade to kill us all. We're right behind you!”

Without waiting for an answer from either Tango or Herrith, he drew his pistol before turning to face the guards now coming through the door onto the porch behind them, blocking conventional access to the exterior platform. It was a common sidearm, unremarkable in all things save for one small feature: a grappling line attachment. He took aim and started shooting, not even bothering to take cover. It was a gamble, but all Tango needed was a few seconds. He hit one, going for the guards with rifles - he was under no illusions that if they opened up all three of their band were in the firing line.

Slowly falling back to what he dearly hoped was a ship in mid take off and a Herrith providing covering fire Mkvenner continued shooting. A wookiee pushed his way to the front of the guards, brandishing a barbed metal club. Another moment and Mkvenner knew he'd charge.

“Herrith! Once that ship is airborne and I turn around grab onto me, cover us and do not let go!”

As the two sprinted outside, the mob of guards laid down fire their way, in which she returned with her own blaster before holstering it as her smuggler partner yelled.

“Take off! Don't wait for a grenade to kill us all. We're right behind you!”

She rose an eyebrow, knowing the ship was a one-seater but surprised nonetheless.
"What?! And bloody leave us to the meat grinde-"

A wookiee came to the front of the mob, and the Zeltron cursed.
"-and a bloody eight foot tall homicidal bush-"

The other smuggler interrupted her sentence.
“Herrith! Once that ship is airborne and I turn around grab onto me, cover us and do not let go!”

Kriff. She picked up a fallen repeater before pulling the charging handle as the ship took off, rolling out of cover and then wrapping an arm under the man's shoulder and firing with the repeater.

"You're grabbed! Hope this isn't what I think we're gonna kriffing do!"

"Looks like our friend has left for the fun without us."
In the midst of all the commotion, a Devarionian had stepped up to Caleb to speak with him. Caleb did not recognize the horned man at first, but realized he was one of the ones Tango was talking to before hand. Just how many people did this Bith get on board with this insane plan? At the same moment, Caleb looked out the window to see, not a frigate like he expected, but a small one-man ship igniting its thrusters. The grand-master of the plan was sitting in the cockpit, prepping it for launch.
"And apparently, he's leaving the rest of this fun with us"
Caleb turned to look at the rest of the party. The room was in shambles, people laid dead on the floor; both guards and a few innocent lives. He turned to look back out the window at the ship as it slowly started to take off of the landing pad, with the human and Zeltron holding on by grappling cord for dear life. The smuggler shook his head before looking back at the Devarionian.
"Those guys are crazy... This isn't worth 2500 credits. I'm no pirate, nor do I want to be."
The man started to quickly, but cautiously, make his way through the corpses and overturned furniture towards the elevator to bring him back down to the ground of Nar Shaddaa.
"You want to go play daredevil with them, fine. I'm heading back to my own ship..."

The man punched the button on the elevator to bring him down to the ground floor. Once there, he stealthily made his way past the guards who were keeping anyone from going up into Alzor's apartment. Once clear of them, he returned his normal stride to avoid looking suspicious. Maybe I'll head back to Onderon for a bit, he thought, before taking a look back up at the landing pad. He saw the ship still struggling to take off with blaster fire going off in all directions. The man clenched his fists before breaking out in a sprint for his own ship.
As the ginger settled into the Starlane Wanderer and fired up the ignition, he slowly started to lift up into the air.
"The least I can do is make sure they don't get blasted out of the sky.."

Crazy was the word.

As the ship rose off the landing pad, slowly at first, Mkvenner turned. Herrith flung her arm over his shoulder, holding on as tightly as she could while also dissuading the wookiee from charging them with her gun. Ignoring everything, utterly focused, Mkvenner raised the pistol and fired the underslung grapple line. Time slowed to a crawl for that split second - he could hear his own breath.

Calm. Measured. Sober.

"You're grabbed! Hope this isn't what I think we're gonna kriffing do!"

Then the dart struck home into the lower fuselage, piercing the craft’s metal skin and splaying out its legs so as to not be dislodged. The line played out behind it, a good length without too much distance between them and the ship, but just enough so that the engine backwash wouldn't immolate them... Or so Mkvenner guessed. An act of madness like the one he was in the middle of committing to was hardly something one could calculate.

Before the line went taut he grabbed a length in his hand not carrying the pistol, spinning the rope around his arm to increase his grip - this was going to be a supreme test of strength. The gun was now useless to him and he let it go to dangle by itself on the end of the lifeline, instead wrapping his arm around Herrith's waist to better support her weight.

At this point he was unarmed, his life in Herrith's hands. Mkvenner silently prayed that this trust born of necessity was not poorly placed. He hefted her up just a little as the line caught around his arm, testing whether she was about to be abruptly left behind to a grisly fate.

His grip was firm, she wasn't going anywhere. For the first time tonight Mkvenner's face broke into a grin, genuine and honest.

“What no kiss for luck?”

Now it was Tango the pair of them had entrusted themselves to. The ship rose, and so did they, but he needed to get moving now or that wookiee was going to eat the pair of them for dinner - assuming of course Herrith hadn't managed to kill it. It was an almighty effort to hold his own weight on one arm and Herrith in another, but he was managing for the moment. With no arms free, Mkvenner couldn't get to his pocket to make sure the data pad was on, but he was guessing it was picking up his voice since it was continuously relaying Tango’s communications to them.

But then, what was one more leap of faith?

“TANGO! Let's get going but not too fast, it's not exactly comfortable out here. Lodar Spaceport, hangar three! I got a ride there!”

The ship rose higher and higher into the air and Tango still had troubled getting all the systems online from him hotwiring it. The engines started to rotate and point backwards at the sky scraper. The engine began to charge up and the triple turrent began to spin slowly and getting faster. Tango could leave Nec or that other smuggler behind so he aim the turrent at the wookie and landing pad and unleashed hell, letting the wookie and the entire terrace plummet o the earth. With Nec and Caleb alive with only 3 guards left he didn't want to leave Nec behind but he didn't have a choice He yelled into the datapad.

"Nec, i'll see what I can do to help you escape"

He slowly began to circle the building and waited for a reply. Then the worse hit. Another ship which seemed to be slightly larger than Tango's came into view with the gangs logo on it. A trandoshian was in it and fired on the ship. Tango narrowly pivoted out of the way and dropped the Zeltron and the human off on top of the building. He then started a dog fight in the middle of the sky where multiple flying ships flew by. They both didn't fire any other ship out of the sky and kept at each other. Multiple other ship that were interested landed somewhere and watched what happened to the building and the dog fight. Multiple people on the ground stared upward at the building as well.
